When checking in to this hotel, the security guard at the door took the initiative to open the door and greet us. The handsome receptionist Wang Rui at the front desk was quick and friendly. He also upgraded our room. I was so happy. The security guard helped me take my luggage to the elevator. The guest room was really clean and upscale. The smart toilet was great. The bath water was great. The water temperature was right and the water flowed smoothly. It was a five-star rating. It was a really happy day. I will come again next time and stay in this hotel again.

This is the worst soundproofing I've ever experienced in all the hotels I've stayed in during business trips. I can hear loud conversations from next door at night, not to mention the noise in the hallway. In the mornings, I encounter people who get up early and start playing music—which I can listen to for free. The breakfast selection is average: five hot dishes, one fried rice, some porridge, cold dishes, and pickles, but lacking noodles or soup. The problem is that a woman with long hair was seen eating in my breakfast. Overall, it's okay.

Facilities: Very new, spacious rooms, and the free upgrade was a great bonus. Cleanliness: Very clean, excellent standards. Environment: Easy to find, plenty of restaurants downstairs, and charging stations, very convenient for electric scooter riders. Service: Excellent. 20 RMB dining voucher: The hotel's own restaurant is downstairs; the food is quite good, and there are performances in the evening. Overall, a hotel with a high cost-performance ratio.

I arrived at the hotel between 2 and 3 AM due to some reasons. The next day, breakfast was already over by 10 AM. Thankfully, the service was good; they found me a few eggs, two bags of milk, and some congee to get by. There didn't seem to be many dining options around the hotel. This hotel was just a transit stop for our trip, arriving in the middle of the night and leaving in a hurry in the morning, so I might not be able to give a full review. However, it seems to be a standard hotel with good management, and the value for money is really excellent. It's definitely worth it for travelers who need a layover. I was too rushed to take any photos.

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. After traveling through Xinjiang, this place was exceptionally quiet, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. There's a typical Xinjiang night market just steps away. The toothbrushes were also very good, and the laundry room even had a garment steamer, which was very convenient. I could wear a pretty dress into the mountains!

I highly recommend the Mowgli City Tancheng Hotel! It's super close to the Devil's City (Wuerhe Ghost City), making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The Western-style architecture creates an amazing atmosphere, and there are photo opportunities everywhere within the resort. The rooms are clean, spacious, and decorated with a full Xinjiang ethnic flair. The staff are warm and attentive, even proactively sharing tips for exploring the scenic area. The facilities are comprehensive, including a parking lot and EV charging stations, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options. This was a super restorative night during our road trip through Northern Xinjiang – definitely the top choice when visiting Wuerhe!
