The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the room looks exactly like the pictures. As someone particular about pillows, I slept incredibly well. They thoughtfully provided two types of pillows, allowing me to choose the one that suited me best. The breakfast was also quite good. If you're looking to visit the bar street, this is the place to stay—it's only a 6-minute walk away, so convenient! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. ❤️

Guest UserWe chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Wanning for this trip, and it completely exceeded our expectations! We even extended our stay by an extra day. It was a perfect seaside holiday experience! The hotel is located on a peninsula, boasting stunning ocean views and close proximity to the Peninsula Commercial Street, and it's only a 15-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, making travel incredibly convenient. Our experience ambassador, Cherry 🍒, provided exceptional service that elevated our entire stay. The service was impeccable, and we'll definitely be back!

Everything was great, except the price during Chinese New Year was indeed very high. If it were in the 800-1000 range, I think it would be a fantastic hotel. I really loved the environment; after seeing too much of the sea, experiencing tropical nature felt really refreshing and met my expectations. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and the shuttle service offered unlimited rides to nearby attractions. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. Compared to the Westin I'm staying at now, I'd much rather be there; this place feels like a chaotic market with almost zero service.

NanhailaopanI recently spent two days at Le Méridien Shimei Bay Resort and had a very comfortable stay overall. Here's an objective look at the pros and cons:
✅ **Outstanding Highlights**
1. **Amazing Location:** The lobby offers a direct view of the entire blue expanse of Shimei Bay. The ”blue hour” in the evening creates a fantastic atmosphere for photos, and the sea view is superb.
2. **Thoughtful Family-Friendly Amenities:** There's a rich selection of both free and paid activities for families. Kayaking, tree climbing, chocolate making, and coconut candle DIY are all great for kids. The hotel also has its own charming, lesser-known mini-farm with meerkats, goats, chickens, ducks, and geese, where children can feed the animals up close – it's a delightful rustic experience.
3. **Delicious Dining:** The restaurants offer consistent quality with their dishes, balancing local flavors with standard Western cuisine. You won't need to leave the hotel to find good food during your vacation.
4. **Excellent Butler Service:** Our butler, Kim, was prompt and responsive with great service.
⚠️ **A Few Areas for Improvement**
1. **Overabundance of Commercial Elements:** The public lobby area has too many shops and promotional commercial elements, which detracts from the tranquil and upscale ambiance expected of a five-star resort. It feels a bit noisy when walking around.
2. **Limited Breakfast Selection:** The buffet breakfast options are not very extensive, and the variety is somewhat limited. It doesn't stand out compared to other top-tier beachfront resorts of a similar caliber.
3. **Inaccurate Private Pool Depth:** The private villa pool is marked as 1.1 meters deep, but it actually measures only 0.6-0.65 meters. This misleading information is a safety concern when children are playing in the water and needs to be corrected.
4. **Impractical Bathroom Towel Hamper:** The dirty towel hamper in the guest room bathroom is too small. After returning from the beach, there's a pile of bath towels and face towels, which easily overflow. It's very inconvenient for tidying up, and I suggest replacing it with a larger hamper.
Overall, it remains an excellent choice for a family vacation in Wanning. If these small details could be optimized, the experience would be even better.

Choosing Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula for our Wanning trip was absolutely the best decision! 🥰
A huge shout-out to our butler, Luna! She proactively contacted us even before our arrival, patiently discussed our check-in needs, and thoughtfully helped us arrange our room. The room's view and location were perfect. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the bedding was cozy, and opening the window revealed a stunning tropical island view. The hotel grounds are vast, with a private beach and swimming pools, making leisurely strolls and enjoying the sea breeze incredibly pleasant. Luna was incredibly friendly, quick to respond to any questions, and very attentive and warm-hearted. It was a truly comfortable vacation experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wanning!

Traveling with kids, this is the family-friendly hotel we chose in Wanning! They have親子DIY (parent-child DIY) activities. Our room opened right onto the beach, so no need to travel far for fun. In the evening, we just headed to the beach for some photo ops. The hotel grounds are really beautiful, and Ella, our housekeeper, was super helpful and friendly, solving a lot of practical problems for us. Highly recommended!

Nikeaigegui_This stay was a truly delightful surprise! The room was spotless, tidy, and felt brand new. The staff's service was outstanding; they were incredibly responsive to any request and went above and beyond, even kindly upgrading us to a sea-view room for free! Pushing open the window revealed an endless ocean vista – the view was absolutely stunning!
The only minor drawback is that rooms close to the sea tend to be a bit humid, making it difficult for clothes to dry.
The complimentary photoshoot experience offered by the hotel was also excellent. They didn't skimp on quality just because it was a free service; the photographer was patient and responsible throughout, and the photos turned out great.
We also tried the surfing program in partnership with the hotel. The surf shop is super close to the hotel, so we could head straight back to our room to shower after surfing, which was incredibly convenient. Compared to a random shop we found on the street before, this one has excellent changing and showering facilities, and their Canon camera for photos produced clear, high-quality images. If you want great photos, this is definitely the place to go.
The breakfast offered a rich and varied selection, with fresh fruits and snacks. I particularly loved their waffles – they tasted amazing! Overall, my stay was a perfect 10/10!

Everything is good, breakfast is also very good, but the room is a bit musty, maybe it's because of the damp weather, maybe it's because of the damp blanket, I hope the hotel can improve

An absolutely wonderful and unforgettable stay.
The six-bed room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with an en-suite shower.
Everything is designed to make getting around easy: electric scooters are available at a very reasonable price, and an electric scooter is even provided free of charge for short trips, which is a real bonus.
The free transfers between the train station and the hostel (both ways) are a real plus and make arrival and departure very simple.
But what truly sets this place apart is the manager: exceptionally kind, always available, attentive, and ready to help in any situation, even generously offering food.
If I ever return to Hainan, this will be the only place I stay without hesitation.
The location is also ideal for exploring the island: Sanya and Haikou are less than an hour away by train.
A huge thank you to the manager for his warm welcome and remarkable hospitality.

After reading many reviews, I chose this hotel. Before coming, I was worried about cleanliness and heard that the roads nearby were bad. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised! The room was big and bright, especially the balcony, which was huge and offered a first-class sea view. Sitting on the balcony was a real treat. The surroundings were also very quiet and beautiful. The room even had its own washing machine, kitchen, and refrigerator, though there were no bowls or pots. It was completely worth the money. We arrived early, and the front desk staff immediately arranged a room for us. I don't know why some people said the roads were bad; the roads were perfectly fine to drive on. Perhaps they were referring to the parking lot road. The only downside is that there aren't many attractions nearby. However, if you're coming for the winter with a few families, it's quite good. Although there's no public transportation, it's easy to hail a ride right outside. The island's sightseeing buggy can also pick up and drop off guests to the bridgehead.
