Светлана БорейкоWe stayed at the hotel from Jan 3rd to Jan 5th. We absolutely loved it. The hotel lobby is simply stunning, and the glass elevators are mesmerizing. We were on the 7th floor, closer to the 'nose of the airplane' section. We barely heard any road noise. The grounds are excellent, with lots of spots to walk, sit, or just stand around, plus a playground for kids. The wide beach strip probably has enough space for everyone in the summer. The crowd was more intimate, mostly older foreign guests. Perhaps it was off-season. The room wasn't huge, but everything was well-thought-out and functional. There's a coffee machine in the room, robes, and all the usual toiletries in the bathroom. The mini-bar is refilled regularly, all standard. The bars have good alcohol, and while the restaurant didn't offer super gourmet dishes, the food was delicious – you won't go hungry. The staff are friendly and really try their best. We enjoyed our stay; the off-season price was very reasonable. I recommend it and would love to return in the summer.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is very convenient, with the harbor just a short walk from the entrance. The breakfast spread was also quite rich. The only things that could be improved are the limited in-room amenities – there were no toothbrushes or combs – and the room size. The basic room type is really only suitable for one person.

Alex0050Our family ended up here by chance. We missed our flight and urgently booked this hotel late at night, as it was a convenient option not too far from the airport. We checked in at midnight, and they kindly extended our check-out to 2 PM (instead of the standard 12 PM). The hotel is small, and they only serve local alcoholic drinks, but we only wanted beer, which tastes the same everywhere, so that wasn't an issue. Our room was clean and spacious; everything worked perfectly. The grounds are compact, but I imagine most city hotels here are similar. Nevertheless, there's a decent pool, a couple of water slides, a volleyball court, table tennis, a small gym, a sauna, and so on. The service isn't like a high-end 5-star hotel, you might wait a bit for waiters, but I didn't mind going to the bar myself. The food was excellent. We only stayed for a day, so the selection wasn't huge, but everything was delicious. We'd just stayed at a much more expensive hotel before this, but my whole family preferred the food here. I also loved the area by the sea; going down there felt like being in Italy, and you could dive into the water, which was cleaner than in Belek. There's no sandy beach, but we didn't need one. Overall, even though the hotel was full, it felt uncrowded everywhere, and there were plenty of sun loungers and places to sit. To sum it up, I think we might even intentionally come back to this hotel for at least 5 days, combining it with a beach holiday in Belek. It's close to the city center, where you can take a walk for a change of scenery instead of just staying at the hotel all the time. The value for money here is excellent!

Guest UserWe flew in for New Year's and stayed at Akra V across the street, but we used all the facilities of the Akra hotel. The indoor pool is fantastic, a comfortable 28 degrees, and you can swim under to the outdoor heated section. There's an excellent sauna and hammam, plus a huge gym. Towels are provided at the spa entrance. We brought robes from our room. Everything was very impressive.

We had a great vacation at this hotel, there are three outdoor pools and an indoor pool, very nice pool seating area, great service as well, food always come quite quickly whether we order from room or from pool.
It’s very clean with many restaurants choices. Sauna and steam room have both women-only and for all genders.
The only thing was that the massage at the hotel was overpriced and expected it to be good, however it’s a bit of a disappointment, not worth it at all.

The hotel was amazing. We stayed for 3 days and took the all inclusive. The food options were decent but were repeated. The drinks were unlimited and available for majority of the day. The indoor pool, sauna and hamam were really good and well maintained. There were events in the evening as well which can be attended to. Overall had a really good stay and would recommend.

Clean, tidy, and a convenient beach. There's food for every taste, and you can eat around the clock (I easily got a meal at 4 AM before fishing). Almost all the staff are from Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan, so everyone understands you perfectly in Russian. I'd like to point out that the staff are generally friendly and welcoming, although there are exceptions (my wife and I couldn't get into the restaurant because we only stayed at the hotel for two days, and that's really just an excuse. In other hotels, where we also stayed for 3-4 days, they managed to find us an hour at the à la carte restaurant – now that's service and a personal touch). The refusal from the restaurant is a minus, but otherwise, everything is good. Will we come back here again? I don't know, maybe, but we'll definitely return to other hotels (I don't want to specify which ones, but they're very close by) where we were treated with understanding in the near future.

I've stayed at many Rixos hotels in different countries. Some of their hotels have the 'Premium' designation. However, this Rixos Downtown Antalya is NOT Premium. So, I don't understand some of the demanding reviews. The hotel doesn't hide the fact that it's an older, standard 5-star property, but with good service.
Basically, if you don't expect premium when it's not advertised, everything will be fine.
The grounds are very compact, but they have everything you need for a small, comfortable vacation. No, there's no salmon for breakfast, but the food is quite varied and high-quality; Rixos stays true to itself in this regard.
The room was good (we had a Comfort room with a sea view), and everything was in working order, including the bathroom. No dirt, mold, or other common issues with older hotels were noticed. Housekeeping was done daily.
I only noted one downside: the double bed had two single mattresses covered by one sheet. By morning, they would separate, so one of us would wake up in the gap between the mattresses. The pillows were also uncomfortable, and there was no pillow menu.
Otherwise, everything was great.
The heated pool was 29-30 degrees Celsius, there's a spa, hammam, Russian steam room, and Finnish sauna. The landscape is picturesque, and they have good bicycles (free of charge) for rides along the sea.

Danish ShadabNot very satisfied with the room size and other services. I booked my room inclusive of breakfast and dinner. Set breakfast with minimum spread. Dinner was also set with only three options to choose from.
