"Extremely satisfied, a fantastic hotel! The food, hot springs ♨️, and massages were all excellent. The service was also very attentive. For example, they made sure my child had slippers and hot spring attire daily. They even noticed that my child's supply was running low after a few days and preemptively offered an extra set – something not many places would do. The only thing to watch out for is the entrance, entrance, entrance!!! It's incredibly inconspicuous, blending in too perfectly with the airport ✈️ environment. We missed it several times on our first visit. P.S.: My wife absolutely loved the shampoo and shower gel set provided, so much so that we ended up buying a set to take home."

"I was very satisfied with the hot spring bath and the clean interior. They also book airport taxis for you. It was great to use the private onsen, and the ice cream, complimentary soba, and yogurt were all excellent. It feels new since it was recently renovated."

"The onsen is great! There is also a ”hidden” spring which I enjoyed soaking into. It is quite unreachable via public transport. They do have scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs at Shikotsuko bus terminal (via reservation). If you did not book dinner or breakfast, be sure to buy food before going, as there aren't many options. Since it is a very traditional ryokan, there are no showers in the rooms (at least in the one I had). You must take a bath in the onsen. I emjoyed my one-night stay here."

"Staying here for one night with two meals, featuring Kaiseki cuisine, is a perfect short escape for those who love natural hot springs. My skin felt incredibly smooth for days after soaking! Having a room with a private open-air bath on the balcony was super convenient, though the public baths are also great. In the evening, you can relax in the lounge with complimentary fruit, red wine, or tea. The next morning, I loved getting up early to enjoy a hot tea on the reading room's balcony, watching the gentle dawn light."

Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action."

"The room is very large, with floor heating, a separate hot spring bath, separate wet and dry bathrooms, pajamas, socks, and home clothes that can be worn in the hotel. Full butler service, free shuttle to the airport, separate private rooms for dining, waiters will introduce the dishes one by one, and there will be a different menu every day, which is worth recommending!"

"Wonderful location - secluded near Lake Shikotsu. Great for scenic walks although not easy during winter snow. Walkable to the lake lookout at the Yumasen red bridge. Nice little onsen for evening / morning baths. Great breakfast spread albeit a bit short (have to be done by 9:30am)."

"The hotel environment was beautiful. Since I don't eat raw fish, the hotel provided cooked food for me. 👍👍 The hot spring in the room was also very comfortable, and the staff service was excellent."
