"My flight was cancelled, so I booked this hotel at the last minute. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of New Chitose Airport. You can access it via the hotel's black elevator doors in Zone C on the 3rd floor of the International Terminal. It was incredibly convenient to go downstairs for breakfast, check in for my flight, and then return to my room to pack my luggage. A 63-square-meter room is incredibly spacious for Japan! The hotel also has its own onsen. Even though it's just one large communal bath, it was still very comfortable and relaxing. The toiletries were a collaborative product between the hotel and a local Japanese brand; they were very good. I even tried looking for them online but surprisingly couldn't find them for sale. Breakfast was high-quality and plentiful, though there was a queue because it was quite crowded that day – but then again, you have to queue for everything in Japan!"
"We spent one night here to be close to the airport for an early departure.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and spacious. They have some great complimentary facial products too.
Warm, professional staff, I would confidently recommend this hotel to others"
"Convenient if you arrive at airport late and dont have time to get to Sapporo. Clean rooms. We booked a triple room but unfortunately the sofa bed was sagging and you can feel the spring in the mattress. Not condusive to sleep. Fortunately efficient and helpful front desk helped to solve the problem. Thank you!"
"The unit is clean and spacious, with facilities quite new and satisfying a family stay. The rooms are pretty the same as shown on the website. Though the location is a little remote, but it’s near a train station and quite easy to get a taxi using apps like GO. It’s sad that the nearby outlet is not open fully, with most of its shops closed. We had a wonderful stay and our family enjoyed our stay very much!"
"Our stay at the ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose was great. The location is central and close to many amenities like shopping mall, eating places and a short walk to the train station. Parking is free and the staff are very warm and welcoming. Service quality is very good - staff are polite and helpful. There is even a convenience store located in the hotel that is opne from 0600hrs to 2359hrs. Rooms are much larger than those in Sapporo and Tokyo and the shower area is big too."
"They provide free shuttle bus to the airport. But only for specific time schedule.
They have onsen, which is great. Location is near to Aeon which has everything you need.
Only problem is they split all our 3 rooms far apart. Hence the deduction in service mark. 2 rooms both at opposite far end of the corridor. And another room on a different floor. Tried to talk to the counter to put us all on the same floor at least, but he couldn't understand our request. Only keep informing me that we have 2 rooms on 1 floor and 1 room on a different floor. Which was exactly my point to request for change of rooms."
"Located right next to Chitose station, check-in was done via self check-in machine after obtaining a QR booking confirmation code from the front. A public bath one for male and one for female are located at level 2 with a lounge where complimentary hot coffees are available. Room size just right for two pax and was clean and quiet. There are two 7-11 fight next door to the hotel and short walking distance to food places like soup curry, grilled meat, ramen etc. as well as Chitose salmon aquarium."
"Overall, the hotel appearance is OK, thanks for bus shuttle service drop off to airport 👍.
but the room and interior lighting look a bit dim, the room is not very comfortable. The hotel should improve the interior lighting, the bathroom is dark☹️"
"I really enjoyed my stay here! Thank you for your hospitality.
The location is close to the train station and the free airport shuttle made my journey one hundred times easier.
The bed was comfortable and I appreciated having both a kettle and blackout curtains. There are also microwaves and ice machines available on the third and eighth floors.
For particularly heat-sensitive travellers, it is worth noting that one cannot set the room temperature manually; only the strength of the air conditioning is adjustable. However, it is easy to run a cold bath and cool down that way.
The staff were really kind and made me feel both secure and welcome. All in all, exactly what I needed before my flight home. Thank you!"
"It is a 3-minute walk from Chitose Station, and there is an AEON shopping mall and supermarket across the road. The room is clean and tidy, the buffet breakfast has a rich variety, and the New Chitose Airport is two stops away from the hotel."

9.3/10
Great
Hhua321A very nice hot spring resort hotel with beautiful lake views and a pleasant natural environment. It is a place to enjoy the hot springs quietly. The package ordered by Ctrip is buffet in the morning and evening. Although there are many varieties and they are fresh, it is also boring to eat the same thing in the same place every day. So staying there for one night is enough. The service of the hotel is very standardized and polite, but it seems to be mainly for Japanese people. When you meet foreigners, you can only perfunctorily. There are obviously two other restaurants in the hotel that are not buffets, but they refuse to allow package guests to enjoy them, even if they pay more. It is unreasonable. In short, it is a good hotel. If there is a discount price, you can come.
GGuest UserOne of the best ryokans I have visited in Hokkaido
There are 2x 7 feet bed (very comfy), big projector in the living room, and the in room onsen was spacious and clean!
Clean and modern rooms with a smart tv
The room was overlooking the snow and unfortunately lake view was blocked by the snow.
Both dinner and breakfast were of top notch quality (we have tried many and they're usually very average), every dish was delicious and we were very full and satisfied.
There was also a free beer to each guest every night, big selection of black teas in the lounge and free inari sushi (which was btw delicious!!!)
Definitely 100%% would recommend to anyone that is looking for a last stop before heading to the airport
MM506272****Pretty good! It offers excellent value for money compared to other hotels around Lake Shikotsu, which are typically at least three times more expensive. The only downside was that some of the Chinese guests, especially a few older women, seemed quite arrogant and their constant staring made us feel uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the hotel itself was great, and the night view of the snowy forest was absolutely breathtaking.
MMikey KayBrilliant. Very easy to navigate to find the place. And it has 7/11 just around the corner for some snacks.
This was our first stop after arrival to Japan, and it was late checkin too, so having the reception offering a free parking just right next to the place gave me a peace of mind. Very professional. English level is just enough to communicate about your needs. Thank you for your kindness.
GGuest UserWonderful location - secluded near Lake Shikotsu. Great for scenic walks although not easy during winter snow. Walkable to the lake lookout at the Yumasen red bridge. Nice little onsen for evening / morning baths. Great breakfast spread albeit a bit short (have to be done by 9:30am).
GGuest UserChitose airport hotel is very close to the JR station around 5 mins walk. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. They can speak English as well. Hotel is clean but old. The rooms are huge as compared to other hotels. Stayed in a triple room. There is also free shuttle bus to the airport in the morning only. There are many small restaurant around and also convenient stall opp the hotel. The bus stop is 2 mins away from the hotel from the airport (Bus 6) from domestic terminal.
GGuest UserThe service is very good. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic. I don't understand the language, but they also served us very enthusiastically🥰 and helped us store our luggage for a day.
But I don't know why the room has a peculiar smell. It's not smoke. It may be that the previous guests hung clothes at the ventilator. The peculiar smell is very strong.
Other than that, the room is very clean and the bed is very soft.
Is there a sheet under the quilt of the bed? Or something else. When you lift the quilt, it will fall out with the quilt. I don't know what the specific function is😂 I only slept for one night. The experience was good except for the peculiar smell.
GGuest UserThey are quite complete as a hotel. Hotel is a bit old but location is good ~ Near airport 20 minutes by hotel airport van.
How to take the airport transfer to hotel. Refer to pictures below.
Go to the location as below... Beside the airport police station at arrival level 1.
LLunzai ChongThe hotel is a bit old but the advantage is that it is very close to JR. There is an Aeon nearby, which is less than 5 minutes' walk. This place is remote and suitable for staying overnight before going to the airport. The hotel provides airport pick-up service, which is very good.
2205553****This is the most satisfying hotel on this trip. It is very spacious. There is a separate toilet and bathroom. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and helps to call a taxi. You can pick up all kinds of room supplies on the first floor.
