Jr Inn Chitose ★★★
"The hotel's location is super convenient, especially for hot springs. After a relaxing soak, you can head to the manga room, which has a great selection of popular titles."
Portom International Hokkaido ★★★★★
A luxury airport-adjacent hotel featuring refined interiors, art-inspired design, and a serene, premium stay experience.
Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Chitose ★★★★
"Pretty basic hotel with limited car parking lots. Room was clean and comfortable. Services so so."
Hotel Grand Terrace Chitose ★★★
"Originally, we only stayed here for one night due to a flight connection, but the experience far exceeded our expectations! The hotel offers great amenities like an on-site hot spring, massage chairs, and a gym. Plus, the complimentary ochazuke (tea rice) for late-night snacks was such a nice touch—perfect after a long day of traveling. What’s more, they provide free airport shuttle service, which saved us a lot of trouble. In the morning, the golden sunlight streaming through the courtyard was absolutely stunning, adding a peaceful and beautiful start to our day. Considering all these, the price is really reasonable and worth it. Highly recommend this place for transit travelers!"
Air Terminal Hotel ★★★
"It serves as great resting place for us when we reach the airport around 7pm. The breakfast was fantastic."
Chitose Daiichi Hotel ★★★
"The japanese room was really comfortable, and spacious for one person, definitely enough for two people as well. Free shuttle bus to airport was also an added plus"
KOKO STAY Chitose ★★★
"10 to 15mins walk to train station, great breakfast provided & staff are very helpful & friendly"
ANA Crowne Plaza CHITOSE by IHG ★★★★★
"Extremely satisfied! The hotel was surprisingly clean; I had expected an older property but it turned out to be quite new. It was also very spacious. Overall, super happy with it. It was very convenient to stay near the airport the night before leaving Sapporo. The next morning, I just woke up and took a taxi to the airport."
Yuyukan ★★
"It's a new, clean hotel with very spacious rooms and balconies. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store next to the hotel. It's about 1.1 kilometers from JR Chitose train station, which is a bit of a walk. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and there's a direct bus to CTS airport."

Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort Spa Mizu No Uta
A lakeside luxury resort surrounded by nature, known for its spa amenities and tranquil forest atmosphere.
Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Bessou Ao No Za
"Check in at dusk, the environment is quiet and comfortable. It is very convenient to drive directly from the airport to the hotel. The waiter explained the information carefully and had no problem communicating in English. The room is large, new, clean, tidy, and atmospheric. The design is modern and we like it very much. However, it is a bit dark. It would be better if there could be more lighting."
Marukoma Onsen Ryokan
"Our room has a beautiful lakeside view . We enjoyed the ambience of a traditional ryokan and had a wonderful Kaiseki dinner ."
AME NO HI TO YUYAKE
"Terrible staff & services. Impolite staff for reception. I used to thought Japanese are so-call gentle manner, but this experience told me new perception of Japanese people."
Hotel Classe Stay Chitose
"The hotel can use the machine to check in and check out by yourself, the environment is not bad"
Lakeside Villa Suimeikaku
"I stayed here with my son and his wife for a celebration. This is a rare inn located right next to Lake Shikotsu. It is a long-established inn, and although it is undeniably old, it has a total of 8 rooms, an open-air bath, and children under 13 years old are not allowed to stay. It is a quiet and relaxing inn. You can spend time looking at Lake Shikotsu from your room and restaurant. There is no large public bath, but there are two private open-air baths. There is a terrace on the lake in front of the inn, and sparkling wine and oolong tea are available for free. After the bath, we cooled off slowly with wine. The food at this inn was the best. It was an Italian course, and everything was delicious, including Hokkaido sea urchin, beef, asparagus, etc. Breakfast was a Japanese meal, and each person was served rice in a pot. This is the best inn for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time."
Shikotsuko Daiichi Hotel Suizantei
"One of my favorite hotel stays anywhere in the world. Exceptional service. Great Lake Shikotsu views from the rooms and the facility. Meals were outstanding both in their quality and interesting offerings. The negative reviews seem very out of place to us. Assume it is based on which room type selected. Our room was very clean, nice features - deluxe twin. Regarding meals, it is a set menu - if you are particular it may be better to dine elsewhere and order directly. For the Onsen, we did not use as I have tattoos. They do have nice baths in the rooms."
Kyukamura Shikotsuko
"Situated within its own natural area overlooking lake shikotsu with a bird sanctuary nearby"
Minn Chitose
"This is the hotel you won’t stay for many days. Perhaps, just one night and i highly recommend you to stay one night especially for those landed CTS in the late evening or departure in the early morning or you going to rent a car. For me, I arrived at 8pm so we took taxi (cheapest to hotel if you have 3 or more on a group) to the hotel. Self check in took me less than a minute (pre-registered required via email before you arrived). We bought breakfast from the supermarket diagonally opposite the hotel (5mins walk). Walked to the car rental to collect car (less than 10mins walk). The room is huge!! Easily pack your luggage. Highly recommend this place"
Hotel Route-Inn Chitose Ekimae
"The hotel is a bit dated, but a major upside is the hot spring bath facility available on the upper floors. It's primarily geared towards business guests."
Chitose Station Hotel
"The biggest advantage is that it's directly connected to Chitose Station, so you can get to the hotel without any trouble even in bad weather. It's highly recommended for those who want to use the hotel as a base for sightseeing or attending events, rather than just enjoying the hotel itself. The rooms are kept very clean, and there's nothing unpleasant about them. The breakfast buffet is also very enjoyable! I use this hotel quite frequently when I travel to Hokkaido."
Hotel AreaOne Chitose
"The hotel is a bit old but the advantage is that it is very close to JR. There is an Aeon nearby, which is less than 5 minutes' walk. This place is remote and suitable for staying overnight before going to the airport. The hotel provides airport pick-up service, which is very good."
