"I had a great stay at this hotel in Darwin. The property is very welcoming, and the room I stayed in was particularly large and spacious, perfect for both short and long stays. It features a small balcony, which is great for getting some fresh air and relaxing, as well as a fridge, kettle, and a practical kitchenette with cupboards, which is very handy if you want to be self-sufficient. The continental breakfast is included and offers a good variety. Plus, you can request a full English breakfast if you prefer something more substantial. Another definite plus is the staff, who were always very friendly, helpful, and attentive to guests' needs, making the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is convenient: you can reach Darwin Waterfront, one of the city's most beautiful and lively areas, in about a 15-minute walk. It's perfect for a stroll, a meal, or relaxing by the sea. There's also a large supermarket nearby, which is very useful for buying groceries or other items during your stay. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for its good balance of comfort, amenities, and location."

"Il Piatto our favourite restaurant at Casino food great wine selection ok abit expensive overall compared to other Fine Dining restaurants in Darwin. Reception staff need abit more life and friendlyness more personality."

"Good pool and spa. Excellent location. Good lobby/reception, waiting area. Phone call to inform us that our room was ready early was greatly appreciated. Generally the staff were all helpful. On the negative side the room itself - the layout is poorly designed, very angular - narrow gap between the end of the bed and the open door into the living area. The TV in the bedroom is set at a strange angle because of the room design. It didnt bother us to watch it as we didnt, but the TV extended past the wall , narrowing the walkway at the end of the bed.) Living area and kitchen were fine, good supply of tea/coffee."

"Stayed for a week and had a pretty good experience! Parking at the hotel entrance was convenient and free. Right outside is a grassy park, and the harbor bay is just a short walk away. From the hotel window, you can see playground facilities, which kept the kids entertained for a while. It's also very close to the center, just a 10-minute walk to Coles supermarket and that other green-logo supermarket. The crocodile park is also within walking distance. Just be careful of the local Indigenous people there – keep your distance!"

"Overall it was a nice stay. However we had a misfortune due to hotel staff giving wrong information about public carpark. As the hotel carpark was full on the first day, we had to park on the public carpark. However the staff told us we can pay thru the machine the next day when we collect the car. Unfortunately the Australian carpark rule is that we have to pay and display the ticket the moment we parked the car hence there was a penalty payment of AUD 40."

"If you arrive outside the reception hours of 8 to 5 you will have to go to the H on Mitchell Street to check in. I didn’t get the text because apparently trip.com had given them some random number, definitely not mine. Other than that, it’s very noisy on a Friday night so make sure you have your earplugs, I messaged them about a couple of things (the kettle didn’t turn itself off after it boiled, there was no hot water coming out of the sink tap), bed was comfortable, location was good."

"Excellent location in the heart of CBD. Huge Woolsworth store and restaurants within walking distance. Mattress was little too hard and pillows were flat n musty. Cab ride from airport was abt $35 and 20 mins away."

"For me, there are several factors when it comes to reviewing a hotel. In this case, the property mainly operates as a pub and restaurant, with the hotel as more of an add-on feature. Location: 5 stars, no doubt. It’s right in the CBD, making it super convenient to walk around and access nearby places. Room: Spacious, clean, well-equipped, and facing the pool—so at least there’s a nice view. However, there are a few downsides. The rooms are not soundproof at all. Since there are live performances at the open-space pub right below from about 6–10pm, expect some noise. Even after the music ends, you can still hear people chatting downstairs. And just fyi there is no toothpaste, and indoor flip flop. Wi-Fi: This was the biggest issue. Even though I stayed in the room closest to the router (as staff mentioned) and the hotel has two networks—one for pub guests and one for hotel guests—the signal basically disappeared once I stepped into my room. My phone couldn’t connect at all unless I went outside, and while my iPad could connect, the connection kept dropping every 15–20 minutes. I had to manually reconnect each time. I’m not an IT expert, but it seems like they might be using a small-scale or shared network that struggles when too many users are online. Aside from that, everything else was fine. The staff were supportive, and both check-in and check-out were smooth—especially check-out, which was quick and hassle-free."

"Perfect hotel location for our needs since it is very close to the airport and the Marrara sport complex (10-15 min walk) in which our event took place. What we love most: very clean hotel room, convenient park ing spot right in front of our unit at an extra cost, great pool facility and some restaurant and coffee shop option on site. The room we booked was really spacious. We had a very pleasant stay."

"Novotel Airport Darwin is a typical airport hotel. They run an on demand shuttle to & from the airport terminal which is very handy, and only a short distance away. The rooms are simple, clean and functional. In room tea & coffee is provided, and there was fresh milk in the fridge. I opted to include breakfast in my booking, which was very good. Lots of choices, including traditional cooked breakfast, lots of bread options (some gluten free), yogurt, fruit and pastries. If you're on the run they provide take away cups for hot beverages, which is a nice touch. Overall I would happily stay here again."
