"Booked 2 weeks ago. Checked in for twin bedded roo at 3 pm.. The reception gave us level B1 or (-1) rooms which is located all the way back to the end of building where there is a lift down. There were renovations on that floor, with platic sheets all taped at corridors!!. Our room next door is also taped and it means there are repairs still on that room !! It was quiet though while the workers were repairing. Later in evening, both my girl friend and i found that we were alone in that floor. The reception is certainly biased about asians staying there. A couple before us, got to stay higher floors. Other that the location is 2 stops away via tram just opposite the hotel. For the world of tolerance on my last ounce of self just for the night.......i think its not worth it for there are other hotels near the tram stations that can connect to airport. Do your google maps and you will find it. I done travel solo at times and really, this ibis is not worth it. if you are mat salleh, then perhaps no issue. By the way, recep is not even mat salleh."

"I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's a perfectly functional and convenient hotel with all the necessary amenities. The lobby has self-service check-in and check-out machines, and there's 24-hour front desk service, which was very polite and thoughtful. The lobby is quite spacious, with self-service drink and coffee machines, a microwave, and a small pantry area. There are also many desks and power outlets. The room was spotlessly clean. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a kettle, and the internet speed in the room was excellent – perfect for watching videos on your phone. The hotel is large with many rooms, so I'm not sure if all rooms have equally good signal. Right next to the hotel, in an adjacent building, there are two supermarkets with a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, and daily necessities, plus a pharmacy. The tram stop for Tram 10 is right outside the supermarket. This tram runs between Zurich Airport and Zurich Central Station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the city center or the airport without transfers. What's more, the tram stops are level with the ground, which is great for passengers using wheelchairs or pushing strollers. From the airport, take this tram and get off at the Glattpark stop; the journey only takes about 8-9 minutes. This tram runs almost all day, so early morning or late-night flights are no problem. The ticket price is also reasonable. Plus, the hotel's price offers much better value and conditions compared to renting a similarly priced room in the city. Breakfast was decent."

"Excellent location between the city center and the airport. Connections are frequent, and it's right next to Glattbrugg station. There are supermarkets and a few local shops nearby. The property is relatively new. The studio apartment is on the sixth floor with a large window overlooking Zurich. The bathroom is nice with a walk-in shower; obviously, there's no bidet. The kitchen corner is well-equipped with a coffee machine, a small dishwasher, and a microwave oven, plus a hob."

"The room was clean and warm, the food was delicious, the staff was friendly, but they charged me twice on New Year's Eve, probably by mistake... I approached them three times, and they said everything was fine, that I misunderstood something, then my boyfriend came up and explained to them in German that they had charged his card twice, in addition to the deposit..."

"Very near the bus 768 that goes to airport and nearby tram / train line, hence convenien. Located in a quiet town The room was not very clean and aircon was weak. They did provide a free mini bar with 3 drinks."

"TLDR: The free hotel shuttle operates from 04:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 23:00, with buses every 20 minutes. The journey to the airport takes approximately 6 minutes. The last free shuttle from the airport departs at 23:10. You can find it at the Hotel Shuttle area outside Arrival 1 – just follow the signs. Look for a minivan with the hotel's logo and the driver will let you in. Although the airport's information board stops updating after 23:00, this last shuttle still runs. The hotel service itself was very good. Staff were at the front desk to check me in, even at 11 p.m., and communicated flawlessly in English. However, the hotel requires a 100 CHF deposit (by card or cash) upon check-in, which is refunded at check-out. I wish this had been clearly stated on the website beforehand, just like the 3.5 CHF city tax. The room was much more spacious than I expected, closer to the size of a standard twin room, though it did feel a bit empty with only one bed. The ”single bed” felt more like a narrow double, possibly big enough for two small children. The two pillows were extremely soft—a bit too soft for my liking; I had to stack them to prevent my head from sinking too deeply. The only light source in the room was a floor lamp in the corner, with no overhead lighting, making the room quite dim at night. The facilities were well-maintained but clearly showed their age. A table, cups, kettle, slippers, wardrobe, hangers, tea bags, and soap were all provided, and there was even a bathtub. However, there wasn't a separate shower enclosure; you had to shower in the tub with a hard partition closed. Despite being on the ground floor, the outside parking lot was quiet at night, and privacy was good with an extra curtain drawn. The only reminder that you might have overslept was the roar of wide-body aircraft taking off from RW16 as they flew over the window in the morning. There's a restaurant and a sofa area next to the lobby where you can wait for the shuttle. However, aside from the parking lot and tram stop, there's nothing else around the hotel—not even a place to buy a sandwich. The front desk advised me to get any other necessities at the airport. Overall, the room was very comfortable. Compared to similarly priced airport capsules, spending an overnight layover in this spacious room with a comfortable bed felt like excellent value for money."

"The hotel room is spacious and quiet even thought the hotel closed to airport. We could hear the plane passed by if we open the window. But we heard nothing if we closed the window. Good sound proof. Friendly and helpful staff. The distance between the hotel and the nearest tram station is abt 5mins walk. The hotel has airport transfer service with CHF 6 per person."

"We had a pleasant stay at Amanthos Living Zurich Airport. Despite its proximity to the airport, we weren't bothered by any planes flying overhead at night. The location was ideal for us because we have family living nearby. Upon arrival, we hadn't received any check-in information beforehand, but the 24/7 service desk was easily accessible by phone and helped us quickly. Access to the apartment is entirely via an app on your phone. It's convenient, but you do need to have your phone with you at all times, otherwise you won't be able to enter the apartment. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The only thing we missed was a kettle for making tea. All in all, a comfortable stay and definitely a good base near Zurich Airport."
