"We stayed 2 nights in this hotel… it couldn’t have been better! The staff were very friendly and did their best to communicate with us (we recently moved to China so are using our phones to translate). The room was very spacious! The pillows were so comfortable that my husband bought one to take home!! We loved being right across from a beautiful park - definitely worth exploring! Overall, it was amazing. We found out from friends that there are many Atour hotels in China so we look forward to staying there again."

No complimentary tea bags or coffee sachets."

The family room is smaller than it looks from picture. Our first room looks dirty but the front desk helped to move us to another room. The bed is firm and comfortable to me."

"Highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay near Chizhou train station. We had a good one night stay. It is beside train station, about 5min walk. You can eat or shop around the hotel or call for DiDi to go to the central area or lake. It is easy. We had breakfast in the hotel, simple but good enough. Room size is good for couple. We came from Jiuhuashan area hotel to stay a night here before heading out to Nanjing/ Shanghai. Go with Ji Hotel brand name in China, you won't go wrong as cleanliness and comfort are what they'll deliver."

GGuest UserI have been to Jiuhua Mountain for several years and this is a relatively good experience First of all, the environment. This is a newly renovated hotel with a very Zen style. The sanitary conditions are also OK. The hotel's products are also very good, including Dyson hair dryers, Guanxia aromatherapy, and Jurlique toiletries. It can be said to be a small but beautiful hotel. Secondly, the service is really impeccable. We went to Jiuhua Street for dinner on the night of check-in, and it started to rain heavily. The hotel owner even asked a friend to pick us up. The breakfast delivered to the room was also very rich, with a wide variety, which provided plenty of energy for worshiping Buddha. All in all, it is a highly recommended hotel with an excellent location. It only takes a dozen minutes to walk to the Palace of the Reincarnation of the Flesh and the small rooftop. It is worth checking out.

GGuest UserI went to Jiuhua Mountain in the fifth year. The homestay I had stayed in was fully booked, so I met Xiangli. Although there were some unpleasantness at the beginning (actually it was probably caused by the pick-up and drop-off service they outsourced), everything was very nice afterwards. First of all, the geographical location is very good, right next to Huacheng Temple. Secondly, I asked the housekeeper on WeChat and the reply was very prompt and the problem was always solved quickly. The afternoon tea provided was very rich and also took children into consideration. Because of the afternoon tea, we decided to have lunch at the B&B the next day, and we were not disappointed, the food was delicious. They also proactively provided an extra quilt and sheets, which could turn the tatami into a small bed, and the children were very happy. In the end, because of an unintentional mistake, the cost of the chicken soup was waived. Although they are all small details, what a B&B does is to present the details in a concrete way. This time the stay experience was very good. Will continue to stay here every time in the future. The magnolia in the yard is a big plus.

GGuest UserA truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The overall design is relatively new and very clean and tidy. Service: Every boss in the store (I think they are all bosses) is very friendly, especially the tall lady who serves tea in the evening. Her smile is very contagious. Food: The focus is on afternoon tea. The appearance and taste are both online. I like osmanthus black tea and tangerine peel melon seeds very much. I also order meals here. Although the price is higher than that of restaurants outside, the environment and hygiene are friendly. I have to say that Jiuhua bamboo shoots fried meat and the small cold dishes of snow vegetables and fresh bamboo shoots in the morning are really delicious😋

They warmly opened the floor heating in the room in advance. The room was warm and comfortable. The quilt was dry and tidy and smelled very clean. Because I took the elderly, I lived for two days, most of the time I ate in the store. The kitchen was very clean and tasted good. It was no different from the outside restaurant. I also warmly helped us leave the chicken soup that was not finished to the evening. I used to come to Jiuhuashan every year, this time I lived the most comfortable time. GGuest UserThis is a charming and meticulously kept courtyard guesthouse. The owners and their family are incredibly hospitable, and the service is exceptional. They readily offer pick-up and drop-off services whenever needed. The place is spotlessly clean. Dinner in the courtyard was incredibly enjoyable, followed by several delightful rounds of tea. This trip to Jiuhua was truly perfect. Many thanks to the owners; we'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop . Here I would like to especially thank the young man in the housekeeping department and the master in the engineering department on May 2. On that day, there was a problem with the password lock of my suitcase. I originally wanted the master in the engineering department to help me pry the lock open, and I could buy a new suitcase.
