The room was very clean, decorated in a Muji style, warm and comfortable. The guesthouse is located below the Jiuhua Mountain archway, costing around 100 yuan, and is very close to the visitor center (less than 500 meters). It's about 1.3 km from the Dayuan Cultural Park. I highly recommend staying at the foot of the mountain! The host even gave us some travel tips, haha, but we didn't listen to him and ended up walking around the front of the mountain twice! A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The B&B environment is great. It's very convenient, just a few minutes' walk after getting off the car. The room is also very clean. Thanks to the owner's family for their exceptionally warm hospitality and for giving us small gifts. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit.

The guesthouse boasts a fantastic location, with an artificial lake right outside. I stayed in a mountain view room, and the view from my window was breathtaking. The windows were also very soundproof, making it quiet at night. While the room's decor was simple, it had everything you needed. For this price, what more could you ask for? Excellent value for money! Oh, and the owner was incredibly kind, helping me solve many problems. When I left my hat in the room at check-out, he even mailed it back to me. Thumbs up! 👍

I highly recommend Baofojiao Youth Hostel for solo travelers to Jiuhua Mountain. The rooms are very clean and odor-free. The bathroom has a smart toilet, and the cleaning staff keeps it spotless. There's a very friendly cat at the hostel; I heard it was a stray cat adopted by previous volunteers, and it's incredibly cute. The staff are also very friendly and patiently explain the Jiuhua Mountain itinerary. Sitting on the bench outside the hostel and just relaxing is especially comfortable.

The newly opened guesthouse has a great location, behind Huacheng Temple, making it convenient to get to the cable car station, the main gate, and many other places. Shopping and dining are also readily available nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. Highly recommended!

Environment: Many shops nearby, convenient for dining, but sometimes they can be noisy. It doesn't disturb normal rest at night. Towels are stiff; it's recommended to bring your own toiletries. Overall, a good experience. Recommended for those who don't want to live too far from the visitor center.

The toothbrush handle is hard, praise Shampoo and shower gel are in bags, a bit not enough, and I asked for two bags at the front desk. You can not miss this little gem of a stay! Your stay is inside the scenic area! Your bus to and from the area is across the road! But do not fear about being lost! Your host will take you to the bus stop and even take the bus with you to make sure you get in easy and walk you to the bus exchange centre 😳🤩😎! He even drove me to the cable car area the first day and picked me up! Really a very friend man and his family are also wonderful! I met people from Beijing who return to visit for the third time and they sometimes rent the whole place for their big family! A wonderful experience and by far the BEST host i have ever had!

The boss drove to the ticket office to pick me up. The boss and his family were very friendly. They also brought me a thin blanket at my request. The service was excellent. The room was as shown in the picture. Objectively speaking, it was in line with its price. After all, it was not expensive. It was clean and tidy. The only problem was that the shower door in the bathroom was not closed tightly and the water leaked outside. The water temperature was sometimes hot and sometimes cold.
