"Traveling to Jilin with two kids, we chose the World Trade Markham Hotel, and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is right by the Songhua River, and opening the window in our high-floor room offered a magnificent river view – the kids were absolutely thrilled looking out. The room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and they even provided children's slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a rich variety of options, including many that the kids enjoyed. The heated swimming pool was the biggest surprise; after a day of sightseeing, taking the kids for a swim helped us relax and shake off the travel fatigue. The location is convenient for getting around and dining. The service was prompt and responsive. Staying here with two kids was stress-free and comfortable, making it perfect for a family trip."

The bathroom has stable hot water with strong pressure, and it's meticulously cleaned with no unpleasant odors. The bedding is very comfortable, and I particularly appreciated the double-layered door, which provides excellent soundproofing for a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious food. Overall, staying at Yilong Hotel offers great value for money, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Jilin City."

"The service was excellent. The front desk lady was gentle and clear, and the guy who ran the games even gave the kids two cans of drinks. The breakfast spread was so rich, we couldn't even try everything. The bedding was comfortable, and the location was superb. I did have two minor issues: the people next door were up until 11 PM with their TV blaring, showing absolutely no consideration for others. At breakfast, some elderly people were cutting lines to get food, using a single pair of tongs, taking large quantities of the same items, and secretly stuffing their pockets with yogurt and eggs, filling up thermos after thermos with hot milk. It really shocked my kids. But I guess the hotel can't really do anything about that; it's a matter of ethics."

"Overall, it exceeded my expectations—a definite thumbs up. I came to Northeast China to escape the summer heat, and this was my first time staying at a Radisson RED hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. I usually stay at Marriott or IHG properties, so I'm not very familiar with this brand. At a price point just over 300 [presumably CNY], I didn't have high expectations. Perhaps it's also because the Hyatt Regency Changchun didn't leave a great impression on me, making me even more inclined to recommend this Radisson RED. Regarding the room type, while the room isn't huge, the overall layout is very well-designed. The luggage rack and bar counter are combined to form a clever entryway. The toilet and shower are separate, which is excellent, and the facilities are all new. Then there are the hardware details: the glass doors for the toilet and shower have soft-close dampers, and the thick seals give it a premium feel. The service was also very professional. On my first night, due to a personal situation, I had to request a sheet change from the 7th-floor housekeeping staff late at night. From the front desk to the housekeeping attendant, everyone was excellent, and the process was smooth. A big thank you to Kiki, Holly, and the 7th-floor housekeeping staff on duty that night. And then there's breakfast. I initially thought that at this price point, it would only offer basic options, but it was far from perfunctory. For example, by the coffee machine, there was an ice bucket and water, making it easy to make my own iced Americano. The coffee beans were also good. Many high-end hotels essentially serve hot Americanos with ice for their 'iced' versions. This place didn't cut corners, which was another pleasant surprise. What truly astonished me is that, so far, there have been no service shortcomings, which is incredibly rare. From Capella to various Marriott hotels and even the Hyatt Regency Changchun, I can usually find flaws in the service, but not here. Additionally, the hotel's laundry room and gym are both excellent, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It perfectly meets my requirements, and I plan to stay for several more days. This hotel genuinely puts effort into what it does. As a regular user, I sincerely hope they continue to maintain this standard."

I recommend upgrading the hardware. Soundproofing needs improvement – the plumbing noise from the upstairs room was quite noticeable in the morning. I suspect the drainage pipes aren't insulated. Those sensitive to noise should consider this carefully. Elevator capacity is insufficient: with only one elevator, waiting times during peak morning hours (7:00-8:30 AM) were long, and the car itself felt cramped. Also, I suggest adding protective padding to the metal handrails inside the elevator to prevent children from bumping into them. Pre-check-in communication could be better: It seemed the notes on my Ctrip order were overlooked, and I didn't receive a confirmation call before arriving. For reference, other hotels of the same brand usually proactively call around 2 PM to confirm arrival time and floor preferences. I hope this location will also prioritize this. Street-facing rooms are noisy: While the floor-to-ceiling windows offer good light, their soundproofing is limited. Morning traffic noise from the road was quite noticeable. Guests seeking a quiet rest should opt for a room on the back side. Transportation and parking are not very convenient: The hotel is located at a busy intersection, making it easy for ride-hailing services to miss the exact spot. For business travelers who prioritize commuting efficiency, the location's convenience might not meet expectations. And let's talk about the lighting control panel – a few seemed to be unresponsive, which is a common issue in older Atour hotels. Breakfast was okay, but when I went up at 7:50 AM, the tofu pudding was already gone, and replenishment was a bit slow. In summary: The room itself is fine, but there's room for improvement in soundproofing, elevator service, customer service, and transportation convenience. Business travelers should consider this carefully."

"Lost Forever, Northeast. It's been a long time since I've been back to the Northeast. My husband won a lottery for a Northeast 100 trail race, so we packed up the whole family and came back for it. The 'investment doesn't cross Shanhaiguan Pass' shock started with booking the hotel. A hotel that usually costs around 600 RMB skyrocketed to 1800 RMB for this weekend, complete with a 'non-refundable' predatory clause. A week before our trip, the room price dropped to 1200 RMB. Ctrip customer service apologized profusely and told me that because this hotel can only be booked through suppliers, Ctrip couldn't offer a price reduction, only a voucher as compensation. As a native Northeasterner, I wasn't surprised by this monopolistic behavior from a **travel agent**. No matter how far you go, you can still recognize the unique flavor of home through these connections. So, we returned to the Northeast as planned. Even when visiting relatives these past many years, my stays were always brief, like interacting with estranged parents, afraid that staying too long would reveal an incompatibility. Among the countless hotels I've stayed in, this one was quite special. The pool temperature was perfect, and the water was very clean, but the shower area by the pool had a severe sewage smell. The room facilities were a bit dated, but the area was not small. There were two sinks side-by-side: one had moisturizer, and next to the other was hand soap. It was perfect for two people to wash their hands at the same time; one person would hand the hand soap to the other, and then the other would hand the moisturizer to the first person. Perfect. Every floor by the elevator had 'No Smoking' signs, but there was a strong, ingrained smell of smoke in the room, accumulated over years. After all, who can control Northeasterners? The auntie at the noodle station during breakfast seemed like a relative on her first day of work. She was awkward with the blanching basket, complaining, 'Why didn't you say you wanted blanched vegetables before I cooked the noodles?' while lifting soggy greens from the basket and placing them into the diners' bowls. I guess she purposely didn't shake off the water from the greens, perhaps considering how salty the egg sauce was. The beautiful front desk staff and handsome bellboys were all attractive and provided kind and friendly service. Only in the Northeast can you find so many good-looking young people working in service. The automatic doors on the second floor of the hotel lead directly to the foot of the mountain, making it incredibly convenient for skiing in winter, I imagine. In early autumn, the ski slopes were covered with yellow wildflowers, and this Northeast was so beautiful, deserving of its liveliest deep winter and vibrant summer. The Northeastern child who got into a university in Beijing said that the ceilings in Beijing apartments are too low, and the city is so big that it's hard not to feel worn out. He said he would eventually return to the Northeast, and that his family would make the most suitable arrangements for him. Even if the ski slopes are covered with thick snow, next year they will still be covered with flowers across the mountains. The fertile land of the Northeast can only nourish those brave souls who are not afraid of salt. And for the delicate and fragile, it was on this one day at this hotel that they realized they could never return. So for some, the Northeast is lost forever."

"My stay at the Vienna International Hotel (Jilin Street Railway Station Branch) was absolutely fantastic! The hallways were clean and bright, and the room itself was impressive from the moment I walked in – spotless with excellent attention to detail. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the mattress had just the right firmness, allowing me to relax quickly and ensuring a stable and comfortable night's sleep. The hotel's buffet breakfast was also very thoughtfully put together, with a wide variety of options, and the service was warm and welcoming. Overall, it's incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Jilin!"

"I had the opportunity to stay at the Libai Hotel for seven consecutive nights this time, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is right next to Beishan Park, and there's a bus stop just across the street, making transportation very convenient. There are also plenty of great food options nearby. It's close to other attractions, and taxi fares aren't expensive. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent. Although the hotel isn't large, the attention to detail is impressive. For instance, the lobby lounge area offers various teas and a bulletin board that quickly introduces you to the different attractions in Jilin City. If there was an issue in the room, the staff promptly came to help resolve it. In short, guests feel very comfortable staying here. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance.
