"The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to visit the Great Wall. Chow his mother and his family and staff go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay. We had only 2 nights and woke up early for sunrise to club the wall and a chow helped us arrange everything. Tis section of the wall is with very few people, and truly magnificent seeing the sun rise. Absolutely loved it. I was a single um travelling with my 2 children and the room was spacious, clean and the food was beyond tasty. They got me a little cake as it was my birthday and it was incredibly thoughtful and a lovely gesture. Thank you Chiw"

"First, the pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Jinshanling Great Wall, which is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The hotel's design is also visually appealing, with individual courtyards forming a small village. The standard rooms are designed in a traditional enclosed style with a courtyard, offering good natural light and ventilation. Now for the cons: Firstly, some of the staff lack professional ethics (let's not even get into service quality). When we were checking out, we couldn't find a taxi. The concierge told us there was nothing they could do and we'd have to take an unlicensed car. Then, a male staff member offered to drive us for an exorbitant 600 yuan! Keep in mind, ride-sharing apps estimated the fare at just over 300 yuan, and a carpool would have been around 180 yuan! We later found out that there's a convenient tourist bus service at the visitor center near the hotel, which runs daily to Beijing Dongzhimen for only 80 yuan, but the staff deliberately withheld this information! Many international guests stay at this hotel; such responses would be a disgrace to Chinese hospitality! I hope the hotel takes this seriously and rectifies the situation. Another issue is the hotel restaurant, which is quite a rip-off. The 78-yuan smoked chicken had a thick layer of coriander under it, with very little meat! In short, while the hotel itself is beautiful, the service ruins the experience. I've included photos, both good and bad, so everyone can be aware and avoid potential pitfalls."

"We were returning from a group tour to Inner Mongolia and decided to visit Jinshanling Great Wall on the way. We found Qingfeng Inn on Trip.com. It's clean, hygienic, and the environment is lovely. Both accommodation and dining are very convenient. The owner is super friendly; we were exhausted after coming down from the Great Wall, and the kids didn't want to walk anymore, so the owner even came to pick us up. When we left, they even gave us some cucumbers from their own garden for the road – truly appreciate it! Highly recommend staying and eating here."

"What can I say other than WOW, great farmhouse in a beautiful quiet setting over looking the Great Wall. Rooms were very modern, spotlessly clean with hairdryer and toiletries massive windows to look at the incredible view. The food we had was delicious good price 86 yuan including 2 big beers. We also used there taxi to get to the water town and back to the train station. They sell snacks and water at a very good price also. Book this you will and have the wall to Yourself more or less and some home cooked food and a lovely sleep Thank you wanping farmhouse."

"Facilities are sufficient for our type of travel; that are trekking and Great Wall viewing. Location is excellent with easy access to different parts of the of the Great Wall. Breakfast and dinner were at the stay and the simple local cuisine of good food suited our taste buds .. Topping all is the extra mile service by the owner 崔老版 and his family. We had a beautiful and memorable time here"

"The hotel's location is pretty good, and the surroundings are very quiet. It's only about a 19-minute drive to Jinshanling Great Wall. However, the Jinshanling exit on the G45 Beijing-Chengde Expressway is closed, so you have to take a detour. When there are fewer guests, breakfast is served individually with generous portions. When it's busy, they open a buffet with a wider variety of options. The room was spacious, great for families. But there were a lot of ladybugs (or 'stink bugs' as some call them) that somehow got into the room; we had to clear them out as soon as we checked in. The bathroom drain was clogged, so the facilities definitely need some maintenance. It's probably okay for a 1-2 night stay."

"We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists."

"The rooms were clean and hygienic, the owner was warm and attentive, the food was delicious and I really liked it, and parking was convenient. I stayed for six days during my trip to Jinshanling, and the owner always made time to pick me up and drop me off at the ticket gate every day. It's a farmhouse inn with good value for money. I was particularly impressed by their braised fish, magnolia sprout pancakes, stir-fried pork with mushrooms, stir-fried gourd strips with pork, handmade chive and egg dumplings, and homemade pancakes."

"The room is quite big and relatively new, but the maintenance is average, the hygiene is not meticulous, and the carpet is dirty. The room was fully booked on the day of check-in, and there were two weddings the next day, so the service was not up to par. There was really nothing to eat for breakfast, and the taste was not good. Children over one meter tall were charged."

"I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm. But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable. The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station. They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”"
