"Overall, the room was spacious enough for a one-night stay, and the facilities were new and clean. However, the stated check-in time (3:00 pm) did not reflect the actual situation, as we were told to return at 3:30 pm to check in.
We understand that hotel staff in Taiwan may not be as flexible as their counterparts in countries like China and Malaysia, where tourists are often allowed to check in earlier if their reserved room is already ready, even before the official check-in time. Travelers are usually quite tired when they arrive at their hotel and often hope to check in and rest before heading out again. Being a little more considerate in such situations would give international guests a warmer impression."

"The hotel's front desk staff were very welcoming, and the parking lot security guards were super friendly too. The hotel is very close to the train station, making it easy to walk everywhere. The room was a little old but extremely clean, and the bathrobes were both comfortable and cute. The hotel has private hot springs, with each room having its own soaking tub, filled with the same hot spring water, which was incredibly relaxing. The Sanyou Ramen restaurant downstairs is delicious, and hotel guests even get a discount."

"Awesome hot spring hotel with spectacular view at rooftop pool, movie night and hot spring. Breakfast buffet and spacious room and in room amenities. Highly recommended and definitely will stay there again. Dinner at hotel restaurant because it’s raining, tasty and great service but feel a bit rush with 100 minutes time limit."

I loved that the bathroom had two showerheads, and the TV could be rotated, which was great for watching Netflix.
However, the electrical outlets were quite loose when plugging things in, which could definitely be improved."

"This was my second stay at the Wellspring Suite with a King bed at Hotel MU Jiaoxi, and it continues to maintain an excellent standard.
The room's layout and flow are well-designed, the king bed is comfortable, and the in-room hot spring bath is incredibly convenient. The water temperature is stable, making for a truly relaxing soak, which is the main reason I chose to stay here again. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; it felt fresh and spotless upon check-in.
The hotel's public facilities and environment are still well-maintained. During peak times, some facilities require a short wait, but the overall management is orderly. The staff are friendly and always ready to assist with any issues promptly.
The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is replenished quickly, maintaining a good standard even on this second visit. The hotel's location in Jiaoxi town is very convenient for transportation, making it easy to go out for meals or shopping.
Overall, both of my stays have been excellent experiences, making it a great choice for travelers looking to relax and enjoy hot springs in Jiaoxi. I would definitely consider returning in the future."

"The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was even a Cantonese-speaking staff member who helped answer our questions. Housekeeping was very prompt in delivering requested items, very responsible. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Jiaoxi Train Station. While the Jiaoxi Transfer Station is a bit further, it's still an acceptable walk within 12-15 minutes, and a taxi isn't expensive. I recommend taking the bus for a quick and convenient trip to and from Taipei or Taoyuan Airport."

"The location is great, about a 3-5 minute walk to Tangweigou Hot Spring Park.
There's a free parking lot about a 3-minute walk from the hotel (though you can't drive out between 10 PM and 8 AM).
Right across from the hotel, there's another parking lot available for NT$250, valid until check-out the next day.
The hotel also offers bicycles for guests to borrow.
The room was a bit small because they dedicated most of the space to a large, clean bathroom.
The hot spring soak was very relaxing.
Soundproofing was decent.
On the second floor, there's a good selection of complimentary drinks and coffee.
Given the price, I'd definitely consider staying here again! 👍"

"I've been coming here for hot spring sessions in winter for three hours at a time, and I've brought family and relatives to stay nearly 20 times. They've even upgraded my room occasionally! The location is fantastic, right by Tangweigou, making it incredibly convenient to buy my mom's favorite Red Heart Guavas and Yishunxuan pastries, as well as Yilan's special preserved fruits. We always leave with a full haul of local delights! My only minor complaint is that the spa pools are closed for cleaning on Thursdays, but as a frequent guest, I'm well aware of their schedule.
The breakfast is, without a doubt, the best and most extensive among nearby hot spring hotels (excluding five-star options). It features a wonderful selection of specialty dishes from across the entire Yilan region. I will definitely be back for another stay!"

"The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the station, though walking wasn’t ideal during my stay due to rain. It’s a grand hotel and very walkable (3-10 minutes) to supermarkets, convenience stores, cafés, and even the night market.
We chose this hotel because it’s one of the few that offers dual hot and cold spring tubs in the room. Bath salts were provided for the cold spring bath and replenished daily, which was a nice touch.
There was a minor issue with one of the tubs leaking, but service recovery was excellent! Housekeeping checked promptly (within 4 minutes from our call) and we were switched to another room within 30 minutes, which was very much appreciated.
The room, especially the toilet area, was spacious and matched the photos shown online. While some furniture and the tubs were slightly worn, there were no hygiene issues and the bed was comfortable. No noise issue at all.
Breakfast had a good spread of Western and Chinese options. We arrived close to closing time, but the staff ensured we were well taken care of, which we appreciated.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed ourselves."

"It is a new age and clean hotel without receptionist. The amenities and furniture is minimalist style and take a bit of getting used to that the basin is out of toilet area.
Not for the light sleeper as there is no noise cancellation when you have noisy “neighbours” even after midnight they are laughing and talk long loudly by the corridor and also while in their room especially when you are surrounded by them in a corner room. :("

Yu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point. I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious. Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison. If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

recently stayed at Just Sleep Jiaoxi and had a very enjoyable and comfortable visit. As two older adults, we really appreciated how convenient the hotel’s location was—close to the main attractions, food options, and the train station, yet still peaceful enough for proper rest. The room was clean, well-kept, and pleasantly spacious. The in-room hot spring bath was a highlight for us. It was easy to use, very relaxing, and perfect for soothing tired muscles at the end of the day. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, patient, and always ready to help with directions and suggestions. They never made us feel rushed and were consistently warm and professional. Breakfast offered a nice variety, with simple but tasty options that suited us well. We also appreciated how smoothly everything was managed—from check-in to housekeeping. Overall, Just Sleep Jiaoxi gave us a relaxing, fuss-free stay with great value. We wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next visit to Jiaoxi.

JJazlynWas kind of lost to locate the hotel and the sky turns dark too early during winter time. Upon alighting at Luo Dong and checked with people around, mention to just bypass Luo Dong station, straight and turn right, however was stucked took a cab there. Prior to arrival, staff check in on my arrival timing too. Upon reaching, staff was really nice and welcoming. Luo Dong night market us just minutes away and there washing / drying services provided across the road. Very convenient if you plan not to pack much!

The hotel is good for relaxing as you can enjoy the spa. Their design is nice too. Very enjoyable to stay. It will be perfect if they have amenities like laundry. The room has some smell due to humidity at first but it is alright after the aircon and dehumidifier is operating for awhile.

GGuest UserThe location is easy to find The service staff is very polite The environment is not bad because the pillow has a lot of hair, about 3 long hairs, and we haven’t used it yet. Bedside table, corner, thick dust🧐 Toilet toilet paper is flat toilet paper. You have to count the number of sheets yourself and it is difficult to know the thickness (it depends on your personal habits) When we arrived, it was around 17:30 and the service staff asked you to have some snacks. It’s actually past snack time and I’m just a little hungry😋 Indoors, we saw that there was no parking space in front of the hotel when we returned (renting a motorcycle) because the door was full of motorcycles. Unless we move the car, there is still room for one. Come out immediately and tell us that you can park in the opposite parking lot without moving the car. ＜Not far away within 50 meters＞ My cat-loving friend Meijiamei has three aborigines who are very close to people. Very cute, but it’s a pity that I forgot to bring my phone to take pictures when I went to Lu Mao

The environment was spacious, clean, unique, and beautiful. The children were curious and had a lot of fun. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and although it was an open space, it wasn't damp. The floor dried quickly, and the children said they slept well and felt comfortable. It was fantastic! I would definitely book again!
