The service was incredibly thoughtful; I especially loved that they provided bicycles for exploring Dongshan Lake.

1. The hotel is new, the surroundings are quiet, and parking is convenient. 2. The room is clean with excellent natural light, and you can see Guishan Island in the distance from the balcony. 3. They offer a thoughtful snack service, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry late at night. 4. The breakfast selection is diverse and plentiful. 5. I would definitely come back again; it was a great stay.

A weird one to review. First off, this place is very retro. I felt like I was back in the 1980s! Whether that's good or not depends on you! In general the place was very clean, however this was the first hotel in 2 visits to Taiwan where I found ants in the room. The day I arrived I found one, which I killed and disposed of in the toilet. The next day when I got back from a long hike, I found 6 ants and about the same smaller things. Also killed and disposed of these. The third day, there were none. That might be related to the next thing. The TV remote was in a plastic case, which was weird. I've not seen any hotels do that for years. Probably for the best though as it was first there was something sticky on the back of the remote. Could have been shutting but my guess is the battery had leaked and the ants were attracted to the smell of the chemicals. The remote still kind of worked but only about half the buttons. The day with no ants, I found the cleaners had cleaned the remote, but it also no longer worked at all. The next meeting just as I was checking out I saw the cleaners and told them and it was just dead batteries. They replaced them and the remote seemed fixed. So maybe the ants just liked the chemicals on the remote? In terms of facilities, the hotel is fairly basic but still reasonable. There's a table and 2 chairs in the room, but I didn't feel I wanted to use them because the ant's had put me off that side of the room. There was a fridge but it was unplugged and when I plugged it in nothing seemed to happen so I unplugged it again. It looked very old and rusty so I think it was just broken. The bathroom looks very old fashioned and the shower is in the bath. In terms of service, the room was cleaned every day and to a good standard. I also seemed to have been upgraded as I booked a room with no view and got a room with a window and a good view. So really the only complaint was the few ants, and there weren't that many, so I put that down to bad luck.

Very pleasant experience stay. The customer service was excellent, from the time we walk in with the staff open the door for us to the time we check out. The front desk staff Louis was very helpful and polite. Amenities in the room, hot spring to the spa are provided everything we needed including the dryer for the swimsuit. Private hot springs tub was Great for us who walk all day long and want to have late night hot springs experience. The hotel welcome with afternoons delivered to room. Breakfast with large variety or Japanese and ********* cuisine. Great location, near the train station and next to free public hot spring reserve

Convenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too. The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The room has small children's play equipment, which the kids loved and didn't want to leave. There are bicycles available for rent at the door, but unfortunately, it was so hot, so everyone enjoyed the view from the balcony! Hahaha. The bathtub in the bathroom is huge, but it's a shame we didn't use it because we finished it. It will definitely be great to soak in it when we come back in the winter! I really like this place! It was a great reason to go to Luodong Night Market for dinner in the evening!

The location is excellent. Anping Road is the second street off Luodong Station, turn left, and you'll see the hotel after the first small alley. Regarding service, the room robot was very polite, calling to inform me it was ready to deliver items and asking me to open the door. It also called ten minutes before check-out to remind me of the time. The restaurant staff's service attitude was better than that of the second-floor game counter staff, but the enthusiasm of the younger staff was consistent. The service attitude of the front desk staff during check-in was average. For dining, although the official check-in time is 4 PM, I arrived early, and the reception staff already had my room card ready for immediate check-in. If you don't want to check in early, there's afternoon tea available in the ground-floor restaurant. You need to book your breakfast time slot at reception for the next day, limited to one hour. Since I chose the least crowded time (7 AM-8 AM), I finished my meal in less than 40 minutes and, with the restaurant staff's permission, took a few bottles of drinks back to my room. In terms of facilities, the second floor can cater to young children with a wide variety of remote-control cars. The third floor should have facilities to keep older kids entertained. Regarding cleanliness, the restaurant dining area, the second-floor game area, and the public women's restroom were good. However, the bathroom hygiene in the guest room needs improvement. There was a lotion bottle with only about 1/10 left, presumably used by someone else, next to the hand soap. There was only one roll of toilet paper with no spare. The sink had standing water with floating debris and hair. The showerhead's water pressure was insufficient, and once turned on, it would drip for a very long time after being turned off. The hot water for the bath the next morning wasn't hot. There was no laundry bag provided, which I've found in all hotels and even luxury hotels in Taipei and Taoyuan. After inquiring at the front desk, I was told they had regular plastic bags that the robot could deliver to my door. The soundproofing, I felt, was good. Setting the air conditioning to 20.9°C was cold enough, but upon entering the room, with the AC set to 25°C, there was a musty smell.

Luggage holding available. The hotel layout is not the most senior/family friendly due to having stairs leading up to the room. However room is spacious and bed is comfortable & clean. Lots of different channels to watch on the the tv. Shower area wise there was one night with a 5min wait for hot water. Having no full curtain or partition separating the bath area & toilet, expect the floor to be wet after shower. Breakfast is provided, you Indicate your meal option on the day of check in. The food area staff were very polite and helpful. Overall a really good place for couples!

First of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub. The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working. There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.” Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.

The location is perfect, but there's no hotel parking. There's a private parking lot nearby with reasonable rates, though. The room floor was really dirty, and under the bed was just as bad. There were also lots of bugs in the room, and quite a few mosquitoes... I got woken up by mosquitoes in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep. If I had to choose again, I'd definitely avoid this hotel.
