"Our stay was absolutely wonderful—truly beyond expectations! Every little detail kept surprising us in the best way. The level of care and thoughtfulness throughout the hotel really stood out. The room amenities were exceptional, from the Dyson hair dryer to the luxurious L’Occitane products throughout. They even provided a cute little bag for us to take everything home, which was such a thoughtful touch! What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every staff member, from reception to the cleaning team and activity hosts, was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. There were also countless activities for children, which made it perfect for families, while still offering great options for parents to relax and enjoy themselves too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return again!"

"Excellent daily healthy breakfast with a wide range of varieties for all in the family to enjoy, and using local fresh ingredients making the start of day something to look forward to! Near food eateries and stores for some local souvenir shopping, convenience stores, and walking distance to train station! We also enjoyed the daily evening complimentary snacks and drinks services including their special tea cocktail. Best of all was their impeccable service. We left our shopping behind after we left the hotel for Taipei, and they kindly arranged for courier to send the items over, wrapped the breakable item nicely with bubble wrap. They also helped us plan for a wonderful and memorable birthday with locally sourced cake and flowers. Everything they did was done with care and love, even for something as simple as making up beds, that they also tucked in the kids' soft toys in cutely. The kids now want to go back to Yilan just for the hotel stay! Definitely the best hotel experience we have had as a family!"

"The hotel staff were all very polite! They would proactively greet guests, and their attitudes were consistently good and courteous. The room was spacious, and the bed was large with just the right firmness, paired with fluffy pillows for a very comfortable sleep. The welcome snacks were generous and thoughtful! All facilities were clean and tidy. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse, almost like a lunch buffet! I would definitely visit this hotel again. It was a wonderful relaxing experience 😊"

"This hotel, Yamagata Kaku, boasts an excellent location, very close to the train station, making it super convenient whether you're traveling by public transport or driving. Parking was also a breeze. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The on-site hot spring facilities are top-notch; soaking there was incredibly therapeutic and completely washed away my travel fatigue. The yukata provided was soft and comfortable to wear, showing great attention to detail. A nice bonus was being able to take the slippers home, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay and would definitely consider returning to this excellent hotel."

"This is an absolutely fantastic hotel! 1. **Location**: It's incredibly accessible, just a 5-minute walk from Jiaoxi Bus Terminal. Even in the scorching heat of late July, we could quickly get there with our luggage. 2. **Customer Service**: During check-in, there was a staff member who spoke Korean, which made the process incredibly smooth. She proactively provided information I might need and explained the hotel's various services in Korean. I really appreciate her kind assistance. 3. **Room**: The room was very spacious and perfectly adequate for two people. The beautiful mountain view from the back was a delight, and the in-room hot spring tub was huge. The only minor drawback was the slightly firm bed, but aside from that, the complimentary minibar drinks and snacks, along with the immaculate cleanliness, were excellent. 4. **Hot Spring**: Beyond words, it was superb. The separate changing rooms for men and women were cool, and with about 10 individual showers, showering was comfortable and pleasant. After showering, entering the hot spring area, there were various pools ranging from 35°C to 42°C. There was even a unique doctor fish pool, which was a fun experience. Both steam and dry saunas were available, offering a great way to detox. 5. **Swimming Pool**: The large outdoor pool had separate lanes for swimming and recreational use, as well as a shallow pool for children. 6. **Breakfast**: This was the highlight of the hotel. There are hardly any reviews for this hotel on Korean blogs, and even fewer detailed reviews about the breakfast, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the breakfast, which was managed by time slots to ensure a moderate number of diners, was the best I've ever experienced at any hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh salads, diverse seafood, hot dishes, yogurt, ice cream, and bakery items – I was so full! My only regret was that I couldn't eat more in the morning. The staff were also incredibly friendly. When I first booked, I thought the price was a bit high, but for this price, the facilities and service are exceptional. If I visit Taiwan again, I would definitely want to stay here again. I highly recommend this excellent hotel to everyone!"

"We took the shuttle from Hotel Royal Taipei, and the wait in the lobby was a great experience. Everyone was very proactive in their service, from the doorman to the staff who handled our luggage. Upon arriving at the hotel, the service was also incredibly friendly. We barely had to touch our luggage from start to finish. The service at this hotel is truly outstanding!"

"I stayed in a pool villa that cost around 33k per night, and I was quite surprised to find a lot of debris and dead insects (like spiders, bees, etc.) floating in the pool. It seemed pretty clear it hadn't been cleaned before my arrival. Also, two cans of biscuits in the first-floor lounge were three months past their expiry date, so I don't think I'm wrong to assume there was a lack of attention to detail. The overall environment was comfortable, but these small issues with cleanliness and maintenance really don't live up to the Westin brand's standards or what you'd expect from this type of room."

"The sodium bicarbonate beauty hot spring and bath crystal salt experience were quite good. In the afternoon, there are small refreshments available in the lobby. The breakfast at 1F Ming Chu Buffet (6:30 AM - 12:30 PM) can easily be enjoyed as a brunch. The R floor rooftop Sky Bar offers 360-degree panoramic views. The downside of the accommodation is its proximity to the railway; lower floors or specific room types may easily hear the operational sounds of passing trains. It's recommended to request a higher floor when booking and try to avoid consecutive holidays to ensure the most comfortable vacation experience!"

The breakfast spread was extensive with fresh ingredients, and the overall quality exceeded our expectations. "The services were all very thoughtful, and all the staff were polite. They were always quick to assist with any questions or issues. The only minor drawbacks were the outdoor parking lot across from the hotel, which was quite inconvenient on rainy days. Also, the hot spring area had children playing with inflatable toys, disturbing other guests. There should be a dedicated children's splash zone to separate them. There were no showers in the hot spring area, so we had to go back to our room to shower after soaking. The steam room had a strange odor, possibly like urine. Breakfast was served as a set meal, but I didn't like everything on the plate. A buffet would have been better, allowing for free selection and portion control."
