"A fantastic stay, a pleasant surprise! First, the location is excellent, conveniently situated near Huashang (a commercial district), yet peaceful and quiet despite not being in the bustling city center. The hotel is very thoughtful, providing complimentary disposable towels, toilet seat covers, toiletries, laundry detergent, lotion, hand soap, and other amenities, catering to various needs. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel boasts a superb view, directly opposite the lakeside park, beautiful both day and night, with an amazing atmosphere. It's perfect for solo travelers or couples. The curtains and sheer blinds are motorized, very convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide selection and is delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I come to Zigong. The staff are all very nice; I've rarely experienced such a pleasant surprise in so many hotels."

"This trip was with my family to Zigong, and our stay at the Howard Johnson Zigong Hotel was excellent 😌. It's a five-minute walk from the high-speed rail station and not far from the city center by taxi. It's definitely a resort hotel. The hotel boasts a beautifully designed garden, and all the necessary facilities are readily available. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful, and we received a complimentary afternoon tea voucher and a simple late-night snack. We even got a free room upgrade on our last day! "We originally traveled from Chongqing to Zigong to see the Lantern Festival and wanted a hotel close to the festival. The hotel described it as being 260 meters away, but upon check-in, we discovered it was actually the location of the festival, 10 kilometers from the China Lantern World. This is malicious misleading and unacceptable. Secondly, the quilt was too thin, with the core in pieces. Most quilts only had a cover, which woke me up cold in the middle of the night and gave me a cold. The restaurant staff were very friendly, and the room was relatively clean. The photo shows the quilt; the black part is the core, the white part is the sheet; the quilt is translucent."
