Zigong Hotels with Kitchens

"This is a newly opened five-star hotel in Zigong, and the decor and facilities are absolutely superb, easily comparable to many luxury hotels nationwide (I've stayed in at least a couple hundred five-star hotels across China in recent years). The gym and pool are particularly impressive. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and easy access to dining and shopping. I stayed in a park-view room, and the view was fantastic. I didn't try the hotel breakfast as I was busy sampling local Zigong cuisine. The front desk and concierge staff generally offered service with a smile. While there's still a bit of room for improvement in terms of proactive service and guest satisfaction, it definitely wouldn't stop me from staying here again on my next visit to Zigong."

"Since the hotel is located in the center of the old city, the China Lighting Museum, and the ”Salt History Museum” are about 10 minutes walk away. Fanhua 193 Food Commercial Street, Coal Dam Food Street, Tongxin Road Special Food Street, is next to the hotel. There are many buses at the entrance of the hotel to the main streets and attractions in the city, and the No. 8 special line bus directly to the colored world. "The hotel is only a few hundred yards from the Zigong High Speed Train Station. Although it is far from the downtown of Zigong City, the Zigong High Speed Train Station has buses to the city and many attractions. I walked to the Zigong High Speed Train Station for a few minutes, the Xianshi Old Town for about 20 minutes and the Zigong Lantern and Light World for about an hour. People can get a taxi at the hotel easily. The hotel provides free pickup and drop off services for the Zigong High Speed Train Station for free . The hotel workers are friendly and helpful. Ms. Peng is helpful. She helped me contacting my next hotel, and following up to confirm the pickup service of the next hotel. The hotel email was also responsive and prompt. The hotel and rooms are clean. The hotel provides a free afternoon tea with a little treat. For improvement, it will be helpful if the hotel can provide printed information of public transportation. Since I do not have a Chinese cell phone, the hotel workers helped me to lock on WiFi, which can be improved. All other hotels I stayed in China, people can get WiFi by using the room number and last name. This hotel requires a local mobile phone, for which I don’t have as an international visitor . Overall , I highly recommend this hotel."

"The room was fairly clean, but the facilities are a bit dated. Soundproofing isn't great; I could hear people talking in the next room, though the overall environment was quiet at night. The standby blue light from the mirror bothered me all night, affecting my sleep. When I turned the faucet on and off at the sink, it caused a strange noise in the pipes above the ceiling. They also didn't provide disposable toilet seat covers. On the positive side, the staff service was very good."

"The homestay is a single-family house by the lake. This one is in Tulip Park. The environment is beautiful and the room is clean. Because it is in the suburbs, there is no natural gas and the electric water heater is used, so the hot water is a bit slow. The sleeping environment is quiet at night and not noisy at all."

The disposable toothbrush provided is relatively hard. The family directly opposite the living room is being renovated, and the sound of the train can be heard at night, but these are small problems, which do not affect me to choose it next time.
