Renovated in 2025, the Aswan Plaza Hotel Corniche is a great choice for accommodation in Aswan. The hotel is conveniently located just 600m from Aswan and 16km from Aswan International Airport. With Aswan Sporting Club, Kitchener Island Garden plants and Aswan Old Souks all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. For guests traveling with groups of friends, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, within walking distance. I didn't use the hotel breakfast, so I can't comment on that. However, I had an unpleasant experience during my stay. The hotel policy might be to provide only one small bottle of water per day. On my first day, I used my own large bottle of water. On the second day, I returned from Abu Simbel very thirsty. The small bottle of water provided on the first night wasn't enough. So, I went to the front desk to ask for another bottle of water. The front desk staff initially told me to buy one myself. I then explained that I had booked for two nights, so I asked if I could get the water for the second night since there was only one bottle in the room today. The front desk checked their records and said it had already been placed in the room. I told them I couldn't find it and only had yesterday's bottle. They said they would send someone up with it later, but no one ever brought it, even after waiting all night. When I checked out at around 5 AM the next morning, I opened the mini-fridge and found a small bottle of water. I apologized to them at checkout, saying I had found the water. But the reality is that everyone I met throughout my trip along the Nile in Egypt was very kind, and this small bottle of water left me a bit disappointed. I hope the hotel can improve its service; guests are more important than a small bottle of water. Perhaps this is characteristic of Aswan. If you book this hotel, make sure to bring enough bottled water, especially if there are many people."

"I had an excellent stay at Malindy Ka Nubian House in Aswan. The hospitality of Mr Mohamed was truly outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly, helpful, and always prompt in responding to any questions or requests. Mr. Mohamed guided us very well during our stay and helped with everything we needed in Aswan, including local travel tips and arrangements. The Abu Simbel tour arrangements were very good and budget-friendly, which made the experience smooth and comfortable. The location itself is peaceful and quiet, giving a beautiful experience of Nubian culture and lifestyle. The artistic paintings and decorations both inside and outside the property were beautiful and added a unique cultural touch to the stay. The room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. Even a late-night dinner was quickly arranged for us, which we truly appreciated. If guests have any specific food preferences, it is better to inform them earlier so they can check the availability and prepare accordingly. For travelers arriving at Aswan Airport, using the Indrive app can also be very helpful for transportation. Overall, everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful experience staying here. I highly recommend Malindy Ka Nubian House to anyone visiting Aswan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top 5-Star Experience!"

The Obelisk Nile Hotel is one of the newest hotels in Aswan, having been renovated in 2024. With Aswan just 1km away and Aswan International Airport only 21km away, transportation is very convenient. Famous local attractions Hajj Hassan Mosque, Culture Palace - El Akkad and Saint Teresa Catholic Church, can all be reached with a short walk. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.

"This hotel is truly unique. You enter by crossing a small bridge into a charming garden. The rooms are in small riverside buildings, offering an unbeatable environment. The restaurant is right by the river, so you can enjoy breakfast while admiring the Nile in the morning light – it's incredibly pleasant. We booked a river view room on the second floor, accessible by a private stone staircase. From the open window or balcony, you can directly see the Nile. The room's interior decoration is on par with a domestic four-star hotel – not just clean, but also aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom is large and excellent. The water quality is good (the filter shower head I brought didn't show much yellowing after two days). There's a kettle, a hairdryer, and disposable slippers. They provide two bottles of water daily. The hotel offers laundry service. It's an additional charge but not expensive, with a 24-hour turnaround. They'll iron your clothes and return them to you. The price is very reasonable; we had a large pile of clothes, pants, and socks washed for only 350 EGP. However, **beware of the ATM in the hotel garden**; it swallowed my money when I tried to withdraw cash. There are many other ATM options, including one next to the bubble tea shop across the road."

"Crystala Guest House is located on Elephantine Island in Aswan, offering a quiet atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Be careful not to get scammed by overpriced boats; there's a public ferry right next to the pier that costs only 15 EGP per person. The Basma Hotel Aswan is one of the newest hotels in Aswan, having been renovated in 2023. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Aswan located approximately 3km away and Aswan International Airport roughly 19km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Isis Temple, Unfinished Obelisk and Salouga and Ghazal Nature Reserve all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.

"Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Egypt, this one wasn't cheap, but the experience was just okay. The photos made it look great, but the hotel itself isn't that big. It's located on a hill next to the Old Cataract, so walking back means a steep climb. I even had an unreliable driver try to charge extra just because of the hill – unbelievable! 😓 The front desk staff's attitude was so-so, and they gave me a ground-floor room. I seriously suspect the housekeeping staff tampered with my foundation bottle. The cap was open, and a few drops had spilled out. The more I thought about it later, the more I realized it definitely wasn't my doing. If you're staying here, I'd recommend keeping your personal items locked in your luggage! The buffet restaurant's food was mediocre, but the coffee was decent."

"First, the hotel picked me up at the ferry dock by their own boat, which really helped me relax after a tiring journey. When I arrived, everything felt very new furniture and very big room—especially the bathroom—and the whole place was very clean. One thing I really appreciated was how quiet it was, so I could sleep very well. The owner is also very kind and helped arrange the trips I wanted to go on. I originally booked for just 2–3 nights, but ended up staying for a full 7 days."

Facilities: Excellent. The rooms are located on higher ground with flowerbeds outside. The hotel has its own restaurant; the grilled fish and rice is delicious! Breakfast is a bit simple, but the service is excellent. Cleanliness: Very clean. Even a grain of rice on the floor was cleaned up by the staff when settling the bill. Environment: You can see Philae Temple in the distance. This is a huge plus for those who have seen too many temples to take a boat trip to see them again. Service: Excellent! The owner and chef are very attentive. Upon arrival, they inquire about the next day's itinerary and flight schedule, arranging the boat in advance. If you want to return after exploring Aswan city, it's recommended to contact the hotel half an hour in advance to arrange a boat pick-up. For the taxi location to the hotel's boat dock, I suggest using InDrive or Google Search for ”benben hotel taxi spot”—local drivers will know it. For this price and view, there's really nothing to complain about. I recommend watching the sunset directly from the hotel and not going into Aswan city. My biggest regret this time was going through all that trouble to take the sunset sailing trip at the Old Falls Hotel. It wasn't as beautiful as sitting in the hotel restaurant and watching the sunset. It's a pity I missed it.

Relive classic movie scenes here; the hotel's facilities and ambiance are impeccable. This is a top-tier luxury hotel that's definitely worth checking off your bucket list. My only minor complaint is the limited breakfast selection, but that's easily overlooked given the hotel's legendary restaurant. A couple of staff members had some attitude issues, but they apologized promptly after we spoke with them. Families traveling with teenagers should note that there's an extra charge for minors exceeding a certain age; it's $150 per night and includes an extra bed and breakfast.

Food: Provides local food, fair price, good taste👍 Service: Good service, some staff can speak English, communication is barrier-free; round trip boat ride is free, round trip boat ride during the stay is 200 pounds, round trip to Philae Temple is 400 pounds (it seems that the temple pier charges some fees); we asked the hotel to book a car to Abu Simbel Temple, 4100 Egyptian pounds, a little expensive but it seems to be a service provided by a formal company, the driver is very good👍 Environment: The hotel is opposite the Philae Temple, and it takes about ten minutes to take a boat from the pier to the island where the hotel is located. The scenery of the Nile is beautiful: there will be some geckos in the room, hahaha, but there is no problem with going to the toilet and taking a shower, and the sanitary conditions are better than expected. Overall, it is worth recommending. There is no wifi, but it is an interesting natural experience.

Very friendly and responsible front desk! Because the driver temporarily increased the price, the front desk has always cared about our safety, and even negotiated with the driver for a long time. Finally, we sent a car to pick us up to the hotel. The scenery is beautiful. There is a market nearby. It is a collection of eating, drinking and playing. There is no problem in staying for two or three days. Wash the soul. The front desk can also help to book boats, sailing boats and cars, the price is very affordable! The only thing to note is that there is a group of dogs next to the hotel. People who are afraid of dogs recommend staying in a river view room, because they will stay in the main hotel, there is a very cute kitten! If you live in a common room, you must often pass by the road in the dog stronghold, which is a very test of courage.

This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village. First of all, you have to be able to tolerate: 1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel. 2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide). 3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it. 4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel. 5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person... What did we get here? 1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am. 2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic. 3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic. 4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles. 5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

The service was excellent, but once a booking is confirmed, changing the dates is virtually impossible. They offer airport pickup, and both the restaurant and its service were great. While the room was small, the air conditioning, hot water, and bedding were quite comfortable. It would be perfect for solo travelers!

The hotel is quite old, both physically and morally outdated. The buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff were friendly. The air conditioning was a bit noisy. We were given a huge two-room suite by the Nile, but for this price, we're used to staying in newer hotels.

The hotel is located very close to the Nile River, and the view from the room window overlooks the Movenpick Hotel. The breakfast area also had a great view. The bathroom was spacious and had plenty of hot water. The heating was a great help as it was cold at night. The receptionist was very kind. The location is also good, just a 10-minute walk from Aswan Station through the souk. I highly recommend it.

Benben is a beautiful place and the service is top notch. Why the 3 stars? Our room jacuzzi was way too hot to enter. On the first day they send someone over who added cold water so we could enjoy it. Then on the second day as we are coming back from our day trip and want to relax, we find out our jacuzzi is again way too hot. It’s not fun to wait for them to fix this issue when we want to go in right now and not in an hour or so. Also as a 5 stars hotel, the hot water kept running out in our shower after 15 minutes which is quite crazy. It shouldn’t be like this. Or else we loved everything. The food is really good, and as I said the staff/service is amazing.
