"Good location, was able to check bags in a little earlier than 3pm with helped us out LOADS! Room was nice, had air con which was fantastic as was a very hot day. Only thing I can fault is that it was a family room (which we needed) but the beds was quiet high my youngest is 3 & he fell out the bed in the night & hurt himself. Could do with those side rails that you can slip under the mattress to stop the kids from falling out. Partfrom that couldn’t really fault them. Oh also, it’s was LOVELY AND QUIET the whole time we was there, which made the trip as when you’ve had a busy day out and about the last thing you want is to be able to hear everybody else. But there was NO EXTERNAL NOISE!"

"We have been doing our motorcycle training here in Ipswich so have stayed at the Novotel for two weekends now. The staff have been so friendly and accommodating - we’ve really enjoyed the stay. Having a bath in the room has also been a treat. The rooms are well maintained, clean and very comfortable. We’ve enjoyed the pool table and the bar. We’re looking forward to coming back again. The hotel is also very conveniently located."

"Situated very close to Ipswich train station. A very warm welcome by the owner. My room was at the front and there is a bit of train noise, but this didn't bother me. The room was spotless and very neatly presented. The shared bathroom seemed clean too."

"This four-star hotel is the best hotel chain in the local area, it is difficult to find a better hotel chain The hotel is the style of a chain hotel as a whole, but there is no bottled mineral water in the room. Everything else is OK"

"Complaint about the cleanliness of my room at B&B Hotel I would like to make a complaint regarding the cleanliness and housekeeping standards of my room at your B&B Hotel. After the room had supposedly been cleaned, I noticed that the bed linen had not been changed. There were still visible stains on the bed sheet, and I also found several hairs on the bed. This gave me the clear impression that the bedding had not been replaced before my stay, which is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene. From what I could see, the only cleaning that had been done was vacuuming the floor, cleaning the sink, and wiping the table. However, the most important part of preparing the room for a new guest – providing clean, freshly changed bed linen – was not done. I have attached photos showing the stains on the bed sheet and the hairs left on the bedding. These clearly demonstrate the poor standard of cleanliness in the room. I am very disappointed with this experience, as it does not meet the level of cleanliness and hygiene that guests should reasonably expect from a hotel. I would appreciate an explanation as to why the bed linen was not changed and would like this matter to be investigated and resolved appropriately. I look forward to your response."

"Quite a wacky, quirky hotel- which we love! The main hotel is unique and fab, but the rooms are tired and outdated and could be cleaned to a higher standard. The tap water is not drinkable, so more drinking water also needs to be provided and accessible in double and twin rooms- one bottle for two people is not enough. When phoning reception to request two bottles of water, we were still only given one and the empty bottle we had was also weirdly and awkwardly requested and collected at our door first, before we were allowed more water, which was then bought separately and left outside the room? Just a little odd when they have to provide drinking water. A great location hotel though and we actually love the extravagant, crazy style of the main hotel and have been back 3 times and would stay again when in the area for work. You have to see it to believe it!"

"The location is very good, the room looks at the marina, there are a lot of restaurants downstairs, including a nice Chinese restaurant 92 Noodle. Free parking"

"We were there for a night after the ferry to the eastern coast. That was OK. A self-conscious as you know from the Premier In: Staff is very friendly and the location on the way is super. Unfortunately, the part of the building where the rooms are extremely warm, unlike the lobby. We had 26 degrees in the room. This was especially good we couldn't sleep. The baby was very sweated in the middle of the night. It was kind of nice when we opened the door two fans in the room were already running - but unfortunately it does not bring anything, because fans do not make the air cooler on themselves. The night run so the moving air touches the skin at the same time makes it sound. In the hall it smells very much to kitchen and with the heat was that a very unpleasant combination. Besides is in pub, which is a plus point. . As I said - for one night - yes, okay. But please air conditioning the rooms 🙏🏼"
