"The room was spacious and the heating worked very well. The key was unique, but the facilities were a bit old. The shower curtain didn't really keep the water in, so the bathroom floor got very wet. The courtyard next to the room was quite nice. Room 509 is actually on the ground floor. I also got bitten by mosquitoes at night, but luckily I managed to kill them quickly. The front desk had a peculiar process: when I checked in, they asked for my credit card to register the number. The next day when I checked out, I inquired about it and was told it was to prevent guests from forgetting to pay city taxes or other fees after leaving. They also assured me that the card information would be deleted later and not to worry."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from Santa Lucia train station, making it very convenient for trips to Rome and Florence. There are also many boat terminals nearby for scenic boat tours, so transportation is a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even provided a free map of Venice. The morning service staff were attentive and thorough. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The room was clean and well-equipped with plenty of power outlets (though adapters are needed). The central air conditioning provides both heating and cooling. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Besides shampoo and shower gel, they also provided body lotion, which was a very thoughtful touch. The heated towel rack was a fantastic detail, ensuring warm towels every time – they really think of the guests! The entire room was very spacious, and the facilities were brand new. The family suite has a unique design and can accommodate four people, offering good privacy."

"The location is fantastic, directly opposite the train station, and it's just a one-stop, 10-minute train ride to the main island. You don't have to drag your luggage around for ages. The room was spacious and clean, definitely up to four-star standards. My only minor complaints are that they don't provide complimentary bottled water. All drinks in the mini-fridge are chargeable, even the water (every other hotel I stayed at in Italy and France provided complimentary bottled water, this was the only exception). They advertise laundry service, but there's no washing machine; they send it out, and the prices are exorbitant. I'm leaving this review for everyone's reference (P.S. The drinks menu and laundry prices are in a folder on the desk, you'll need to look for it yourself)."

"We have stayed in this hotel only for the weekend  but we had an amazing experience with the hotel staff in breakfast and dinner. So nice to all the customers and always with a smile on their faces. I would be choosing this hotel again next on my visit to Venice. As we don’t like the crowded places the location is great, rooms are clean and nice nothing old or not cleaned. 10 minutes from Venice by bus 5. Bus stop outside the hotel literally. Same bus can take you from airport to hotel and back. Buy 72 hours tkt in the hotel and you can use it for murano burano and for buses with train. Price is 45€. In general ana amazing price experience good food in the hotel. 100% suggest it."

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at BW Premier Collection Continental and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The location is unbeatable — just a five-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, which makes arriving in Venice incredibly easy, especially with luggage. You’re right in the heart of the city while still being able to relax comfortably. The service was truly impeccable, from reception to room service. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One moment that really stood out: I was allowed to sit on the lobby couch and enjoy a bottle of wine that I hadn’t purchased from the hotel — something that almost never happens. Not only did they allow it, but they brought me glasses and even opened the bottle for me with a smile. Later, I went to buy more wine from the bar, and even though they had technically just closed, they still served me without hesitation. That level of hospitality really says everything. Amazing location, outstanding service, and a warm, generous atmosphere. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay centrally in Venice while enjoying truly exceptional service."

"Very nice old palace with classic style interiors.  Location: close to the water bus stop of Ca' d'Oro, 10 minutes walk to Rialto and close to the food area of Cannaregio Service: Amazing staff, always with a smile and willing to help F&B: Breakfast is always the same and with limited choices (this is not meant to be negative for me) but, the quality is top notch. The afternoon tea time in the afternoon is complimentary but unfortunately I have never tried it Rooms: Big rooms (at least mine), big bathroom, very comfortable bed."

"It's a good location to go to Venice. I stayed here while looking for a place with free parking. The best thing about this place is the rich breakfast. The room condition is recommended for short stays or when you have little luggage. The location is good because it's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station to the main island of Venice. There's a large mart nearby, so it's convenient. The staff and staff are friendly."

❤❤️travellingMy flight was in the morning from MXP, so I left the hotel at 4 am. I asked the front desk at least 5 times about where is the ferry station and time table, which Lorenzo gave me very accurate answer and printed out the time table, indicated the station on map for me. However, the station that he gave me was wrong( I arrived 10 mins in advance ) so I missed the ferry at 4:21….there was absolutely no one in anywhere near the station so I desperately rushed back with my luggages to the hotel, where there is an older guy in the front desk said it’s the next station after the one Lorenzo gave me, which means one more bridge. Yet, I did ask this older guy before I left the hotel at 4 and he was very sure. When the second time i doubted him he said “ you can wherever u like lady!” There was no empathy, as if it’s none of their business! Second time I rushed to the correct station n took the ferry at 4:55 and I missed the train to Milan! Buying another italo ticket wasn’t a problem but it’s about life and limb! I’m just hoping the front desk could be more professional n check really carefully when they give suggestion. I would definitely miss my flight if there was no Italo fast train, plus I took taxi right after I arrived Milano centrale to make it! Room was small couldnt open big luggage but it was clean, the cleaning lady deserved a big tip! I like they provide water and slippers. The view from my room is authentic. The hotel is convenient if u r around San Marco square or you always have to go to bathroom. If u r taking night ferry to Santa Lucia Train station Ferrovia, remember is on the right END station from San Marco, it’s another bridge u have to cross.

GGuest UserConsidering its price and location, I honestly can't find anything negative to say. The check-in time is a bit strict, but that's quite common abroad. It's incredibly close to Mestre train station, just a two-minute walk, and there are Illy and Lavazza coffee shops right at the intersection. The six-person dorm room was excellent – very spacious, with a large bathroom and toilet, and a very modern vanity. The entire hostel has a trendy and avant-garde design. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Venice.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a separate island, and you can take the hotel's water shuttle to and from San Marco as many times as you like during your stay for only 15 euros per person. The island where the hotel is located is much quieter than the main island, and the price is very reasonable, with larger room types. There's also direct public transport from the train station, which you can catch in front of KFC. Regarding the hotel environment, it's generally good, but the facilities are a bit old. However, the room size, at 27-28 square meters, is quite spacious for European travel. Overall, it's pretty decent.

AAnonymous UserBreakfast was decent, and they even had a DIY waffle station, which was fun. Perhaps because it was Carnival, it was very busy with lots of tour groups. They even set up an additional buffet area in a separate corner to manage the crowd during peak times. The hotel is in a newly reclaimed area, making it quite remote. The only transport options are the water bus and the slow, driverless monorail. It's more suitable for those traveling by car or with a tour group. However, Venice itself is quite small. If the weather is good and you don't mind walking a bit further, you can still reach the main city center on foot.

The front desk staff heard we were in a hurry to catch our train, so they checked us in very quickly. We were also able to store our luggage, and they even took us directly to our room afterwards. The service was excellent! The front desk staff were also very friendly. The room was quite spacious, the bed was clean, and the bathroom was clean. The water pressure for the shower was a bit unstable, and if you showered for a longer time, the water temperature would fluctuate between hot and cold. The air conditioning was very powerful and kept the room warm, though it was a bit dry. Although it's very close to the train station, it wasn't noisy at all; overall, it was quiet.

Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

AAifa Ain love with our stay, the nearest stop is rialto mercato, just 100 meter walk. Perfect location to visit the main attractions. you whether can use vaporetta (water bus) or walk to the attractions. They also managed to get us vegan breakfast on top of that, really appreciate this gesture. The communication is smooth. But the only downside is the did not have lift, luckily we get the lowest floor, but i guess nothing can be done because this is one of the oldest building.

GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. AAnonymous UserVery good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.
