Fukuyama Hotels with Wifi

Stopped for a night here during our roadtrip and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is a traditional ryokan and the lobby is nicely decorated with some really old furniture. Breakfast is delicious with local fish and ingredients, I wish we had order dinner the night before.

Every night we were told that our kiseki dinner ”has been upgraded” due to us changing to a smaller sea view room than the only mountain view room was available through trip.com. But every night at dinner, every guest were being served the same dishes. Makes us wonder what ”upgraded” really means. We stayed for 3 nights, breakfast variety gets boring after the second morning. This being a resort, closing breakfast service at 0915 is not helping us relax...

This hotel experience was fantastic! The location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very well that night. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was quick, and they even thoughtfully recommended local restaurants. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, both Chinese and Western, and I was very satisfied. A must-try!

We arrived at the hotel at 6:00 PM that evening. The hotel's exterior was stunning from the first glance. The cozy lobby, with its warm yellow lighting and powerful heating, was truly welcoming. The female staff was incredibly friendly and explained everything in detail in fluent English. They even gave me a brief tour of the hotel. The hotel has a free water dispenser with large bottles for self-use. Toothbrushes, combs, and other toiletries are available at the self-service area for self-service. The green light in the hotel elevator was a bit odd 🤣. The hotel is designed like an apartment, with four rooms on one floor, and an open-plan layout. Anyone who's watched the Japanese anime ”We Are the One” will understand. The hotel rooms are spacious. The double room was perfectly spacious for a 29-inch suitcase. Perhaps due to the airy, spacious interior, even with the heater on in the winter, it still felt a bit chilly at night. The room was clean, with an industrial-style design, wooden tables, and comfortable lighting. The bed was large and perfectly firm. There was a tablet with information about the hotel and nearby attractions. This hotel is affiliated with the Fukuyama Oriental Hotel, so you can use the hotel's large public bath. While it's less than a minute's walk, it was quite cold and irritating to walk out in winter wearing only a yukata. The bathhouse is clean and comfortable, but small, with only four bathing spots. It was quite crowded that evening at 8:00 PM, so there was a slight queue. The hotel is also close to the famous Onomichi Ramen, a 6-7 minute walk away near Fukuyama Station. The line was about 10 minutes, but the food was delicious and I felt warm and satisfied afterward! The hotel's breakfast was delicious, with several options for food and drinks. I chose a hot dog and hot coffee, which was delicious. It was a shame I had to rush to a schedule, otherwise I could have stayed longer at the hotel and enjoyed it. A great experience! I will definitely be back! Next time I'll definitely have a drink at the hotel bar 🍺

The staff was very nice and helped me carry my luggage to the third floor, which was a bit shaky. 👍 The suitcases could be spread out, leaving plenty of space. The wind was blowing from the construction site, and the place where my head rested was an unwrapped beam with two wooden planks, which felt unsafe, so I switched sides.

Due to a sudden business trip, I had to book a hotel across the street from my usual one. Because there were so many tourists, the hotel rate was higher than usual, but I was surprised by how small the room was. However, as others have commented, the breakfast was clean and good.

You can see it from the Fukuyama Station platform; it's about a 7-8 minute walk. Take the exit in the opposite direction from Fukuyama Castle, turn right, and keep walking. I especially liked the breakfast at Toyoko Hotel—simple but delicious. I enjoyed the rice, sausage, pickled vegetables, and fried fish. It's a standard business hotel; you can check in at the machine, and there's a Chinese language option. I think if you're not looking for a resort hotel, Toyoko is definitely a good choice—economical and includes breakfast. The rooms aren't large, but the twin rooms are decent.

There was no noise and I slept well. I think it would be better to put up the signboard on the entrance display more easily. It is also a big attraction to have a convenience store downstairs. You should complain more. I also thought it would be better to put it in a big complaint that it is located opposite Tenmanya.

It was an early morning check-out, but it was sent with a refreshing smile and it was very pleasant, thank you 😊

There is a convenience store about 5 minutes walk away, and shopping facilities and restaurants about 10 minutes walk away, so I think you will be able to spend there without any problems. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, but there are free areas, and since I only use the shower when I'm working, the plan without a shower in the room was not a problem. The facilities are old, but considering the price, I guess it's acceptable. Thank you for your help.
