The reception staff in the lobby are very friendly, and there's a public hot spring bath available. There weren't many guests on a weekday, so the stay was quite comfortable. Personally, I think it's actually much better than the ratings on Google."

"This onsen hotel is excellent overall. Upon arrival, staff proactively met us in the parking lot, even holding an umbrella to shield us from the rain. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and spoke fluent English, which made communication easy. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. The tatami room was spacious, and the adjustable chairs were very comfortable. The balcony offered a beautiful view, and enjoying afternoon tea while looking at the snowy scenery was worth the price alone. The onsen facilities offer a great variety, including three free private baths (貸切風呂), one of which is wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for elderly guests. The outdoor onsen, with its stunning snow views, was particularly beautiful. I definitely need to plan another trip here in the autumn."

"Guide to the room and explanation were good. I booked a room on the second floor with a terrace, but I was sorry that there were a lot of insects and I couldn't use the terrace. When checking out, you will carry your suitcase yourself (from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor by stairs), so it is easier for travelers who stay consecutive nights or travel around to choose a room on the 1st floor. It was good to use a lot of ingredients for the dishes, but overall it was strong and heavy until the last dessert. You should think about balance a little more."

"The main reason for staying at the Hongyeguan Hotel was its convenient location for cherry blossom viewing in the north. It's only a little over half an hour's drive to the exhibition center. The hotel includes two meals: a buffet breakfast and dinner. After cherry blossom viewing, guests can enjoy various delicacies such as king crab, soak in the hot springs, and there are even ethnic performances in the evening. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom on the day we checked in, and Hongyeguan was surrounded by them – it was beautiful!"

"The dinner buffet was spacious, with a wide variety of delicious items. The desserts and ice cream, in particular, seemed ordinary at first glance, but the matcha financier and rose ice cream were unforgettable. As for the hot springs, all three rooms offered bathing options, adding to the fun. However, in my personal experience, the hot springs at the Momiji-kan were more varied, while the new hot spring on the first floor of the Hanamaki Hotel only had one pool, which was quite uninteresting. I also suggest providing more small towels, as people might be soaking in various places."

"Very good feeling, as soon as you arrive at the hotel, there is a friendly staff reception, help to help with luggage, the check-in process has a detailed explanation of the service staff, smiles, kind and cute, and at the same time explain the hotel facilities and the layout of the room. Space, we are here during the period, Had a wonderful dinner (kaiseki cuisine) and a hearty breakfast, everything was very good, I hope to stay next time."

I am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki. The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well. If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.

I was a little surprised to be in the room such as beetles and crickets because it was in the mountains. It was a little disappointing that there was a spider nest in the room in the Irofuri, and the garbage on the floor was in the same state from the whole day. In addition, there were no appearances of ventilation during the meal, and many people were chatting normally without masks. I felt a little uneasy because there was no partition. The lighting in the facility and the room (especially the toilet) was too dark and I felt inconvenient. The hot spring was very good and the quality of the spring was very good. There is only one bathroom in the bathroom, so if several people overlap, you will wait. The meal was really exquisite. I feel like I keep the quality of my stay only by eating.

It was a wonderful inn with great hospitality right from the moment we were picked up. Although it was a large building, our room was located in a single elevator away from the hot springs, dining area, and lobby, making it very convenient to move around the building.

I chose it in a word of mouth comment while looking for accommodation in Hanamaki. It was better than I thought. The hot springs, the atmosphere of the lobby, the politeness and response of the staff, the delicious breakfast ... I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

The hot springs are great, and the food is better than expected, but there is no air conditioning. If you come in summer, be careful. The hotel does not have independent toilets and bathrooms, and the sound insulation is also slightly poor.
