"As a local resident, I enjoy taking my kids to different hotels on weekends to stay, eat, and play. I stayed at this hotel about ten days ago and found it to be excellent value for money, so I decided to return. The only issue was that the pool staff's attitude was a bit poor, but after I reported it to the front desk, the duty manager sincerely apologized and even offered us a one-hour late checkout. They said it would give us and the kids more time to enjoy the pool in the morning, and they also waived my parking fee. Overall, it's still worth a stay."

"July 2026 I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Naha, Okinawa, and had a fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient — it is less than a 5-minute walk to the lively Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping Street, making it easy to head out for food, shopping, and exploring at any time. The hospitality here is top-notch; every staff member I encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly. For anyone planning a road trip around Okinawa, the hotel offers on-site parking for an additional fee, which made managing our rental car incredibly stress-free. As someone who likes to keep up with a fitness routine, I was impressed by the gym. It is nicely renovated, clean, and the equipment was more than sufficient for my workout needs. Overall, it was a thoroughly pleasant stay. I would choose to stay here again on my next trip to Okinawa!"

"The room was incredibly noisy; I couldn't get any sleep. The curtains weren't blackout, and the window faced a busy road, plus the windows weren't soundproof. The entire hotel felt more like an open apartment building, with all areas directly exposed to the outside, meaning no air conditioning in the common areas. The most shocking part was when the staff opened our door before 10 AM, well before check-out time. There was also a mirror with a super bright light that wouldn't turn off, and we eventually had to unplug it. It felt like the photos made everything look great and the facilities were new, but the management was really lacking. Also, everything, contrary to what the pictures suggested, came with an extra charge."

"This hotel is unstaffed, with self check-in. The facilities are very comprehensive, offering free laundry and drying machines. There are also many items you can borrow for free from the common areas, such as infant and toddler supplies, outdoor water play equipment, air purifiers, drying racks, and much more. It's truly suitable for family travelers and very thoughtful. The only downside is that there's no parking provided; you need to park in nearby lots, which cost around 1000 JPY per night. Some parking lots are small and fill up quickly. There's also a large parking garage nearby where you can park (from 7 PM to 8 AM the next day for only 500 JPY, but after that, it's 300 JPY per hour, suitable for early risers). There are also Lawson and 7-Eleven convenience stores nearby, as well as a few bars. It's about a 10-minute walk to the monorail station. If you arrive late in Naha, you can take the monorail to the hotel first and then pick up your rental car the next day! Additionally, the hotel offers breakfast, which requires filling out a Google form by 9 PM the night before. It includes Okinawa soba and onigiri. While not exceptionally delicious, it fills you up and saves you a meal. Plus, it's delivered directly to your room door, and after you finish, you just leave the dishes outside the door for someone to collect, which is very considerate. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, and kitchenware, so you can easily cook simple meals! I highly recommend this hotel; it's well-equipped and offers an excellent experience!"

"The room was spacious, but there was no bathtub and the bathroom was quite small. It had a kettle though, which was great for making instant noodles. There's a supermarket right across the street that's worth checking out; you can buy fruit, instant noodles, ready-made meals, and rice balls there. Plus, there are laundry machines on the first floor!"

"Okinawa is truly a fantastic travel destination, and this hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Kokusai Dori (International Street), and you can continue walking from there to Naminoue Shrine and the sunset beach. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the breakfast – it's incredibly rich and diverse! They have freshly grilled burgers, various Japanese dishes, and even a make-your-own noodle station which was delicious. My room on a lower floor didn't have a window, which felt a bit confining, but my room on the sixth floor had an open and spacious view. There's a large banyan tree with a historic feel right outside the entrance. You can also find some really good omurice and izakayas in the surrounding area."

"This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip.com and is, at best, a 3-star property. The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury. The rooftop bar closes at 9 pm, which is far too early, and we were also told at check-in that access to the infinity pool costs extra at around JPY 1,100 per adult. Charges like this should be made clear upfront, not casually mentioned on arrival. Breakfast was decent enough, with an adequate selection, but the process was unnecessarily frustrating. Guests had to register in advance for a roughly 45-minute timeslot, and during our visit we were asked to provide a QR code. It felt overly complicated and poorly managed when they could simply have checked our room number and names instead. The only real positive was the reception staff, who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our requests. Unfortunately, good staff alone cannot make up for the limited facilities, extra charges, and inconvenient procedures. Overall, this hotel does not deliver a 5-star experience and feels misleadingly advertised."

"Completely all right hotel for a cheap penny. Beds are super soft, and maybe a little small for friends sharing. A little confusing info on check in, they say self check in, but there's no info on it, and you have to check in with the person in reception like normal. Good shower and kitchen which is a good plus."

"Facilities: There's no bathtub, but there's a large public bath with three smaller pools and a sauna. There's also a restaurant on the 8th floor, but you need to book BBQ in advance. It's a bit inconvenient that you have to use a different exit to go down to the sauna, you can't cut through the restaurant. Water and ice are self-service at the entrance, including for check-in and check-out. Two good points are the 8th-floor terrace, which offers a great, unobstructed view of the harbor, perfect for a breeze and watching the sunset. The second is its proximity to Tomari Port. You just go downstairs, and you're at the ticket office for boats. However, if you're driving, parking costs 2000 JPY per night, and you have to walk a bit, which is not very convenient. You'll need to walk about 5 minutes to the parking lot every day, it's called Tomari parking lot. There are good steak restaurants and Sushiro nearby, which I recommend trying. The Japanese restaurant downstairs is also good, the stir-fry is very fragrant."
