"The room size was standard, but both the amenities and services were quite good. The breakfast was excellent and varied; even after eating for two days, there were still different options, including ice cream. The staff were also very enthusiastic. It's super convenient for shopping and dining. It's not far from Ryukyu Department Store and Kokusai Dori, and there's a large Matsumoto Kiyoshi just a 5-minute walk away. There's a FamilyMart right outside the hotel, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find an even bigger FamilyMart, a 7-Eleven, and a Lawson."

"This hotel is located at the end of Kokusai Street, just a 1-minute walk from Makishi Station, which is incredibly convenient. The ground floor of the hotel smells wonderful, making for a very pleasant first impression. The check-in counter is on the second floor; you just take the elevator up. The lobby offers free beverages and coffee. While you can't eat in your room, there's a spacious lounge area in front of the counter where you can dine, with plenty of tables. The rooms are single occupancy and generally quiet at night, though some guests tend to close their doors loudly, which can be noticeable. Each room also has a TV, but with volume restrictions, so you won't hear sound bleeding from other rooms. Overall, I would personally stay here again."

"Excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to Kokusai Street, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The single bed was clean and comfortable with no unpleasant odors, and came with a TV and air freshener. The private shower room was spacious and very comfortable to use. The front desk staff were friendly, and you can borrow locks to secure your luggage to the railings. Toiletries are freely available, and there's a washing machine which is very convenient. The lounge on the first floor offers complimentary hot tea and coffee. There's a Fukusuke Tamagoyaki and Okinawa Onigiri shop just a 1-2 minute walk away, and the hotel also offers a 700 JPY meal coupon for purchase."

"Hotel is located in the more residential part of the city in Asahibashi - it is about 8-10 mins walk from the monorail, which is fine if you aren't carrying large suitcases or if the weather holds up. Still, the hotel has a 7-11 conveniently located opposite it, and a Lawson (+ another 7-11) less than 2 minutes away. I stayed in the new wing, where the check-in desks and lobby workspace is located. If you can, get the breakfast with your stay - they offer a selection of Okinawan dishes for breakfast."

"This capsule hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Makishi Station, located within a shopping arcade, so you don't have to worry about rain. I stayed in a female 'b' room on the 4th floor, which is a women's-only floor with an elevator. The makeup and washroom area has hair dryers, and the environment is comfortable and clean. The bed is on the upper level, and the slanted ladder takes up some room space, making it a bit difficult to open luggage. You can push your luggage into a small room, and there's a locker with a password lock that can fit a 28-inch suitcase. The small room itself doesn't have a lock. There are three shower rooms and three toilets, and I never had to wait to shower at night or use the toilet in the morning. However, the shower rooms are quite cramped. The biggest problem was during my 4-night stay, the first 3 nights I had inconsiderate guests in the adjacent room. The partition between every two small rooms in this hotel is open at the top (I was in 415, and the next room was 406). I checked in on April 22nd and was woken up by loud noises from the adjacent room in the early morning for three consecutive nights (even though I was sleeping with headphones and music on). The 1st night: April 23rd, 12-1:30 am. The 2nd night: April 24th, 2-2:30 am. The 3rd night: April 25th, 5:30 am – all involved loud noises. Moreover, from the night of April 24th until 5:30 am on April 25th, the overhead light in the adjacent room was left on. The guest must not have returned and didn't turn off the light, and the light shone directly onto my bed. Even with a curtain, light still seeped into my bed, preventing me from getting a good night's sleep until she made a loud noise that woke me up at 5:30 am. After enduring two nights of disturbances, I complained to the staff on duty on the evening of April 24th, but received no response or solution. They said they couldn't enter the room to turn off the light, nor could they tell her that she was disturbing others. I have stayed in many capsule hotels and youth hostels, and in every one, the management reminds guests to minimize noise at night to avoid disturbing others, and they also post notices. Since their toilets have an automatic light-off system, why don't the room's overhead lights have a similar system to prevent guests from leaving them on and disturbing others? Also, why is the top of the partition between every two small rooms open? While opening the room to the corridor might be for air conditioning, opening room to room is a completely flawed design. They should add back partitions or curtains to minimize disturbance to others. This hotel completely neglects its guests, indulging them even if they disturb others. The room design also hasn't improved, significantly impacting the guest experience."

"I really like this place and I have enjoyed my stay - great experience, great value of money, close to the public transportation and definitely I will stay again when I will be back to Naha. The room and the common spaces were verry clean and the staff were amazing, helpful and always with good vibes. I had a verry comfortable stay here and thank you verry much for that . Fully recommend it and wish all the best to the staff."

"The facilities, location and services are good. I am a HongKonger so I do not understand Japanese but the staff tried their best to communicate with me. They took care of me a lot. One of the bad thing is that I do not get used to live in a cabin. I think I might have better experience if I can live in a single room."

"ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. "The hotel is near the monorail stop and easy to get to from the airport. The hotel building itself is beautiful, and the rooms are slightly larger than typical in Japan. It's convenient that open suitcases fit neatly under the bed, allowing for easy movement around the room. The bed was soft, with four pillows; we slept well. The chair isn't a massage chair, but it reclines into a comfortable reclining position. The refrigerator doesn't freeze, only blowing cool air. The window only opens for ventilation. Breakfast is very basic, but it's enough for a snack before lunch."

"If you are an International traveller who arrives late after the airport closes and leaves before it opens, please be sure you understand everything about the entrance and exit. I highly recommend that you check with the airport information desk directly or ask the hostel by translation apps. It is a very good place to stay for anyone who plans to catch an early flight, though the staff cannot speak English fluently, which means it takes time to communicate. Breakfast is included!"
