"This was a very enjoyable stay even with a Typhoon. When we arrived at the hotel we received a free upgrade to our room which meant we had an extra large room with a lounge that meant we could spread out. This ended up being very needed as a Typhoon rolled through and meant we had to change our travel plans. We ended up having to add 2 extra nights to our stay and we were charged our original rate, not the upgraded room rate which was amazing. Staff are friendly and there is a family mart across the road and the monorail in about a 5 minute walk. Didn't try the breakfast but it did look good."

"The hotel is right next to Kokusai Street, and there's a Family Mart downstairs. They change towels daily, and the rooms offer a private space. The shower rooms require a code to enter, which feels very secure. There's a washing machine for 300 Yen and a dryer for 100 Yen for 30 minutes. Laundry detergent costs 50 Yen per pod. The soundproofing isn't great, but for the price, having a private space is well worth it. There are separate male and female toilets on each floor."

"Excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to Kokusai Street, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The single bed was clean and comfortable with no unpleasant odors, and came with a TV and air freshener. The private shower room was spacious and very comfortable to use. The front desk staff were friendly, and you can borrow locks to secure your luggage to the railings. Toiletries are freely available, and there's a washing machine which is very convenient. The lounge on the first floor offers complimentary hot tea and coffee. There's a Fukusuke Tamagoyaki and Okinawa Onigiri shop just a 1-2 minute walk away, and the hotel also offers a 700 JPY meal coupon for purchase."

"Hotel is located in the more residential part of the city in Asahibashi - it is about 8-10 mins walk from the monorail, which is fine if you aren't carrying large suitcases or if the weather holds up. Still, the hotel has a 7-11 conveniently located opposite it, and a Lawson (+ another 7-11) less than 2 minutes away. I stayed in the new wing, where the check-in desks and lobby workspace is located. If you can, get the breakfast with your stay - they offer a selection of Okinawan dishes for breakfast."

"The hotel is located right in the shopping arcade, so it's super easy to find. Inside, it's just as other guests described: the rooms aren't fully enclosed at the top, so noise can travel easily. There's a TV you can use with the headphones provided by the hotel. Just a heads-up, the earliest check-in is 4 PM. If you arrive early, you can hang out in the lobby on the first floor. Oh, and the burger place next door is really good!"

"I enjoyed my stay here. It was very modern. I was surprised to see the welcome drinks available upon arrival. The free breakfast was tasty. The women’s restroom area was awesome. The location was a block away from the train, very convenient. Many shops and restaurants were within walking distance. I would stay there again."

"The facilities, location and services are good. I am a HongKonger so I do not understand Japanese but the staff tried their best to communicate with me. They took care of me a lot. One of the bad thing is that I do not get used to live in a cabin. I think I might have better experience if I can live in a single room."

"ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. "The hotel was much nicer than I expected for the inexpensive price. There is parking service and a laundry room and it's literally a stone's throw away from the monorail station, which is very convenient for getting to the airport. Simple, basic and no frills but everything you need is on point."

"If you are an International traveller who arrives late after the airport closes and leaves before it opens, please be sure you understand everything about the entrance and exit. I highly recommend that you check with the airport information desk directly or ask the hostel by translation apps. It is a very good place to stay for anyone who plans to catch an early flight, though the staff cannot speak English fluently, which means it takes time to communicate. Breakfast is included!"
