All guest rooms feature 100% natural flowing hot spring water. A relaxing inn where you can fully enjoy Ureshino tea and its beautifying hot spring. Newly opened in October 2023, Ureshino 88 aims to be a healing hot spring inn where guests can restore both body and mind through tea and onsen. Ureshino's most renowned local specialty is its tea. Every day, local tea farmers personally serve freshly whisked Ureshino tea, allowing guests to experience its charm to the fullest. The inn also features Ureshino Onsen, one of Japan’s top three beautifying hot springs. All 36 rooms are equipped with private baths using 100% natural hot spring water. The large public bath includes a tea-aroma löyly sauna, offering a deeply rejuvenating experience. As a hot spring inn rooted in Ureshino, we fully embrace and showcase the local values of Saga, including its cuisine, crafts, and climate, and offer a variety of stay plans.

"Hotel: New and clean facilities. A hotel shuttle can be booked to and from the hotel. The driver mentioned that the developer is the same company that built Ureshino Onsen Station, so they want to heavily develop tourism in the area. Ureshino has 17 hot springs, and this hotel occupies two of them. The water at this hotel is slightly slippery, but not as slippery as in Takeo Onsen. We didn't choose to have dinner at the hotel. There are Italian restaurants and izakayas nearby, and a supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast is plentiful. What I liked most was that each room has a private bath with hot spring water. A minor hiccup: When traveling to Ureshino Onsen, I started from Hakata, then transferred to the Shinkansen at Takeo Onsen. It turns out that the IC card cannot be used to exit the gate at Ureshino Onsen Shinkansen Station; a ticket is required. Furthermore, the IC card cannot be cancelled at the same station; the procedure must be completed at Takeo Station for the return trip. It is highly recommended to buy physical tickets if transferring at Takeo Onsen."

"Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It is a large hotel and the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay. The highlight for me was the cleanliness. The hotel also boasts a fantastic amenity: a rooftop onsen (hot spring). It was incredibly relaxing and offered a great way to unwind after a long day of travel. The main downside, however, was the dining options. While convenient, both the breakfast and dinner buffets were quite expensive. There are probably more affordable local options nearby if you are looking to save on meals."

"Ureshino Onsen ♨️ They say your skin feels amazing after a soak, and it truly lives up to its reputation! I'd definitely come back again. This onsen hotel included breakfast and dinner with the booking. We stayed in a two-story villa, which is a bit further from the main building, about a few minutes' walk. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel offers a shuttle service, so the service is excellent. Check-in was naturally quick. The main building has an outdoor bath and various other baths, but since they're not that big, it can be hard to get a spot at night. Our villa had a private onsen, so we could take our time soaking in the room. The kaiseki meals for both breakfast and dinner were also quite good. I'd recommend booking it – we really enjoyed it!"

"The accommodations are a little old-fashioned, but the rooms are very clean and tidy. The elevator smells nice, and I felt comfortable entering my room. The welcome sweets had my name written on them, which I was very impressed with. The bath water was thick and very refreshing. The large public bath had detox water and ice cream, which I really enjoyed. The food was delicious and there was a wide selection. This is definitely a hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the opportunity."

"My stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration."

The Irifuneso is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Ureshino will find that the Irifuneso is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Ureshino-Onsen Station just 3km away and Nagasaki Airport only 21km away, transportation is very convenient. There's plenty to do nearby, with Ureshino Bridge, Toyotamahime Shrine (Princess Toyotama Shrine) and Zuikoji all within a short distance. If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city.

"I liked the entrance to the hotel with a Japanese atmosphere. The parking lot is not next to the building, but across the street, so please refer to the rental car. After staying at a business hotel, I went to Irifuneso, and the tatami room was spacious and nice. I was worried that the wallpaper was squeaky, but it was neat whether the dopai was new. The furniture is old, but I think it's also the history of an old hotel, so I feel atmospheric ~ Amenities, towels, Yukata can all be taken by themselves, and traditional Japanese zhuri (?) is in the room. The best thing was the hot springs and breakfast. The hot spring water was smooth and the temperature was moderate. I feel the skin smooth after the hot spring. It's small, but there's an open-air bath. Breakfast was a small fireplace, so I cooked tofu soup with pork and small fish. The fish was so delicious, and although he doesn't speak English, he explains how to eat it in Japanese. I'm told to unload eggs in rice and mix them with sauce, but I don't like eggs on the day, so I can cook them in hot spring tofu. It was a night of Japanese atmosphere."

"I arrived a bit late because I got off at the wrong stop, but when I walked in, a kind old lady greeted me. She asked if I had eaten and then showed me around the facilities. Her words were so warm and comforting. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and there was even a hot water bottle inside, which made me feel extra cozy. I was the only guest that night, so it was very relaxing. Before she left, the old lady recommended many local attractions and even told me I could use their towels to go to the nearby Siebold hot spring. She also gave me a CD of her husband's music! All the attractions I wanted to visit were close by, and there were places to eat late at night. I wanted to tell Grandma that I was here for an anime pilgrimage, but unfortunately, she didn't seem to know about that anime. I'd definitely love to stay here again next time!"

The Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Ureshinokan (Old: Yukai Resort Premium Ureshinokan) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. "It was raining on the day we checked in, and there wasn't much shelter at the hotel entrance, so we got wet while unloading our luggage. The room facilities showed signs of age, but the cleanliness was acceptable. The hot springs have indoor and outdoor sections, but the showering areas lack privacy. It was fine with fewer people, but with more, everyone would get wet from each other. The dinner buffet was average. There were also tour groups from Southeast Asia and Korea staying that night, so the restaurant was very crowded with people queuing. Luckily, I went to the hot spring right after checking in at noon, otherwise, it would have been packed at night. Overall, I don't think it offers great value for money at this price."

Need a car to reach the place, but it's easy to find via GPS. The hosts have been very friendly and guided us well. The kids had fun walking the goats, feeding the chickens, and helping with the cooking. It's a good place to destress and feel nature once again.

I was a little surprised by the small portion size, but I was satisfied with the accommodation and the hot springs. The only slight downside was that, as someone used to heated floors, my feet were a bit cold. They were so kind and waved goodbye until my car left, which really touched my heart. ^^ I will visit again with my family next time.

Nice hotel with old world charm and service. Though the room is a bit dated, the furniture is classic, beautiful and very clean. The outdoor onsen is calming and well designed. Too bad that the restaurant was fully booked and we didn’t have the opportunity to try their highly rated dinner.

This is my third time in Ureshino. I stayed at a different ryokan in Kaki, and this one was great value for the price. We booked a room with breakfast included but no dinner, and everyone in my group was very satisfied. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean for the price. The only downsides were that the private bath was a bit expensive and the tatami mats felt a bit old. However, the hot spring water is truly Ureshino quality; it is the best. The surrounding environment is also wonderful for a walk. There is a Totorogi park, so I highly recommend it if you want a relaxing trip. However, food options are somewhat lacking. Since the shops are small, they fill up quickly. Reservations are a must, haha.

It's a bit far from the JR station. Since I didn't make an appointment in advance for the hotel to pick me up at the station, I had to walk there (I give full marks to the staff at Kobe Station back then. The staff at Ureshino Onsen Station was indifferent) I booked a one-night stay with two meals. The room was the largest in this Japan trip. It also looked newly renovated. The food was generally good. The hot spring was a bit small. There were indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor scenery was not as beautiful as that of Kobe back then. I thought the Japanese service was superb, but when I checked in, they didn't even deliver my luggage to the room. I don't know if it's the same in Japan. But when I checked out, there was a free station delivery service. Overall, this stay was good. Next time I'm going to try Beppu Onsen

Drove there. Our room is located first floor with private onsen bath in the room. No shoes are allowed when you first step into the Ryokan. Slippers are provided. Staff are friendly and nice, the room is clean and spacious. Food was typical Japanese breakfast. The private in-house onsen bath was awesome but sadly on the second day, the onsen bath tub started to leak hot spring water from all sides of the bath tub and from the wall and there is no way to stop the water gushing out! As a kind gesture, the manager gave us some private time on the private onsen (require booking)

It had a proper beginning, middle, and end. Upon arrival, I was kindly shown to my room, but it was different from the one I had booked. They explained it was a mistake on Trip's note-taking side and upgraded me to a better room. Although it was a bit of a waste of time, that wasn't too bad. The problem was that the building we were in was extremely cold. The heating with just the fan heater was also a bit insufficient. Please keep in mind that it was a room with an open-air ryokan. Personally, I liked the staff's service and especially the breakfast.

This hotel has a history of 130 years. There is an indoor and outdoor pool for girls, and one for boys outdoors. There is no private soup in the old hotel. The boss opened a new restaurant opposite the hotel. It was opened on the day we arrived. You can make reservations for the private soup in the new restaurant. Fortunately, the enthusiastic boss took us around. It turned out that the private soup in the new hall is just a big wooden barrel! The ground floor of the new building is used as a guest house, and the second floor is the home of the boss’s daughter. I personally feel that it is more traditional stone masonry. The skin of the hot spring blisters is very slippery. After returning to Shanghai, my friends said that my skin is in good condition, haha When we left, the owner and his wife went out to see them off in person, a very humane shop! I made a reservation after reviewing the guest’s comments that his meal is very good. Sure enough, the dinner and breakfast were very good, with Saga Wagyu beef for dinner and tofu soup for breakfast! Very full and full~~
