"Came to Jinan with friends and decided to try this hotel out, as it had pretty good reviews online. Even though we only stayed for one night, we had a really great service experience. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning was also excellent; Jinan's weather can be quite stuffy, but we didn't feel any heat in the room at all, just a comfortable, cool breeze. Breakfast offered a rich variety, a mix of Chinese and Western options, with many Chinese pastries, and drinks like soy milk were included. You could even get noodles made fresh. The service was great – we left something behind in the room, and guest relations manager Lorna promptly contacted us and helped us find it. She was very responsible. I'd definitely come back to stay here again if I get the chance."

"It was my first time visiting Zhangqiu. I chose the Manxin Hotel. It truly exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, and they upgraded us to a room with a view. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hotel has a self-service laundry room and a fitness room. They also have their own small garden, outdoor barbecues, singing performances, and a bonfire and fireworks show. Unfortunately, it rained and I didn't get to see them. I'll definitely go back next time."

The hotel is situated in the most beautiful scenic area and has great facilities. There is even a Starbucks in the hotel. I met one of the managers named Eddie and he can speak English. He was kind and friendly and said that if I need any assistance I can ask the front desk to contact him and he will help me. The breakfast was delicious with so many different options to choose from. I would’ve stayed there for a week if I could. Amazing experience. Thank you to all the staff members, you made it so easy."

"I have traveled to many places and stayed in very good hotels, all of which were booked on Ctrip. I feel that the front desk of each hotel is very professional. However, this time when I came to Jinan, the lady at the front desk of Yingjia Ancient City Hotel was very unprofessional. We checked in on the evening of January 31st and booked a two-night stay. The scenic spot tickets provided by the hotel originally allowed multiple entries and exits. However, the front desk reminded us that if we entered the scenic spot the next day, we could not enter the scenic spot again after 12 o'clock, because there was a spring show in the scenic spot at 7:30 in the evening. We originally wanted to go back to the hotel to rest in the morning after the tour and then go into the scenic spot to see the spring show. As a result, after listening to what the front desk said, we stayed in the scenic spot until 6 o'clock after the tour. We were sleepy and tired, and the hot water we brought was finished, so we went to ask the security guard of the scenic spot. He said that guests who continued to stay were not subject to the 12 o'clock restriction. At this time, we returned to the hotel, but we couldn't see the spring show after going back and forth. Another disappointment was the hot water in the room for showering. It was not hot at all, just a little warm, and the water pressure was super low. We were on the first floor, and the water in the hotel had no water pressure at all and it just trickled out slowly. I usually took five minutes to take a shower at home, but it took twenty minutes in this hotel. I gave feedback to the customer service, and they said there were too many guests and it would be better after 10:30, but it didn't change until 11:00. I wanted to wash my hair in the morning, but it was impossible to wash it clean."

"The hotel arranged a family room for us, which was incredibly warm and lovely! My child absolutely adored it. The staff specially came up to show us the room and then helped us switch to an even better one, showing great dedication and responsibility. We felt an immense sense of warmth and respect. Seriously, a huge thumbs up! What was particularly touching was that knowing I was on my period, they even left two packets of brown sugar water when cleaning the room. I was genuinely moved! Both adults and children were satisfied. Dining was conveniently downstairs, and the laundry room was clean and easy to use. This is always our first choice whenever we come to Jinan, consistently excellent!"

"I went to Jinan just to see a play. It happened to be the May Day holiday, so I couldn't check in early. I was really at a loss early in the morning, not knowing where to go. It would have been better if the front desk had offered some suggestions at the time. Everything else was great: the facilities, the location, and the food delivery robot – it was such a luxury not having to go downstairs or to a locker to pick up my takeout. Housekeeping by Lixia was very thorough, thank you. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. I won't go into details, but it was just a very uncomfortable eating experience. I didn't arrive right at the end; it was almost 10 AM when I went, but I constantly felt rushed. As a solo diner, my food was cleared before I even finished eating if I wasn't paying attention. The same thing happened the next day, even though I deliberately went very early. I just turned to get a drink, and they almost took my food again. I ended up leaving after less than 15 minutes. Also, I was told there was afternoon tea when I checked in, which was a nice surprise, but the selection wasn't very wide."

"The hotel is a bit far from Jinan city center, but parking is very convenient. It's also very close to Sunac Land. The room decor is very new, and the facilities are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served in a Japanese restaurant, which offers a wide variety of dishes and tastes great, including local specialties. The front desk and service staff were very friendly. Overall, a very satisfying stay."
