"The location is good, close to Intramuros and the coast. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from the station, but it's a nice walk to see the city. There's a large supermarket nearby and a 7-Eleven, which is very convenient.
Many of the staff were very kind. Thanks to them, I had a pleasant stay, which really made up for any shortcomings of the hotel. The doorman who opened the door for me every day even stopped an Uber taxi for me at the end and opened the door. He was very pleasant, and I left feeling good. Thank you.
Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but the omelets made fresh every day were delicious, and since it was a buffet, I was able to eat my fill. For this price, there's even a small gym, so I think the cost-performance is good.
From here on, I'll list the downsides, but even with those, I still felt it was good value for money (again, thanks to the kind staff). The hotel is old and dusty. My room had no view from the window. The strange doll on the bedside lamp was a mystery (lol). The room was reasonably spacious, and the air conditioning worked great. However, when you remove the key card, everything turns off, so it gets hot again when you go out. There are no amenities at all, so I recommend bringing your own from home. There's no box of tissues either. There's only one roll of toilet paper, so if you use it as tissue, you'll run out. For towels, there's only a bath towel; no face towel. Maybe you can ask the front desk for a toothbrush? The toilet is the kind where you shouldn't flush paper. Please be careful."
