Luxury Hotels in City of Manila

"Just wanted to give some feedback, so many things went wrong. When I checked in at 12 PM, they gave me room 2303. I went up, but couldn't open the door for a while, so I had to go back down. After waiting for quite some time, they gave me another room, 2304. I noticed it was a twin room, and the beds were tiny, like 1 meter wide? If they were bigger, I would have just dealt with it since I was exhausted from traveling all day. But they were really too small for what I paid; I might as well have stayed at a regular guesthouse. If I asked the front desk to change rooms again, I'd have to go back down and wait at least 20 minutes. The front desk kept telling me to wait, even after I told them I booked a room with two large beds and showed them my reservation. They still made me wait, and wait, and wait. Then they told me to go back to my room and wait. I asked how long, it felt like forever. I even thought about trying to push the beds together. Anyway, I put up with all that, but then there was no hot water for my shower. I was naked, waiting for them to come and fix it for over 10 minutes. It's now 2:15 AM. Also, there was no comb, no slippers, no shower cap, and no cotton swabs."

"I used to ignore those play areas at hotels, thinking it was silly for hotels to have them until i became a mom and badly needed a designated space for my child to play. It was clean, safe, bright and colorful. Play areas attendants were kind enough to turn off the screen upon request since my child was alone when we went there."

Throughout my four-day stay, transportation was never an issue, saving me a lot of commute time. 👩💼 Service Quality From check-in to check-out, every staff member was friendly and eager to help. A special thanks to the front desk staff who patiently answered our questions and even proactively recommended a few local eateries popular with residents – truly thoughtful service. 🛋 Facilities & Room Despite being a standard room, the space was very well laid out. The king-size bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep, and amenities like a desk, luggage rack, and safe were all provided. The air conditioning and hot water were consistent, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong enough for both work and relaxation. I was very satisfied. Overall, my four-night stay completely exceeded expectations and offered exceptional value for money! The next time I visit this city, I will definitely return without hesitation and sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation 👍"

"The Manila Hotel has an old but elegant and luxurious style. Marble and stone finishing, tall ceilings and a grand piano at the back with a musician playing pleasant music greets you as you walk through the entrance. Lacking points from my personal experience: 1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges. 2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future? The good parts: 1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality. 2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm. 3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this."

"I wish I had more days staying in this hotel. The service was outstanding, the staffs were great and the room is very good too. This is honestly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. Not just in the Philippines, but anywhere in the world. I will definitely return when I come back to the country."

"We had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay! A cozy room with a view and great variety of food can make all the difference. The staff were welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect; especially Ms. Katrine who arranged whats in the uploaded photo. overall its a 👍😉"

"We arrived earlier than expected so we weren't sure if we could check in yet but we were able to do early check-in which was awesome. We stayed from July 19 to July 23 of 2026 They prepared a small amentity cake for us when they were informed we were traveling to celebrate us. At the front desk, everyone greeted us warmly and helped us a lot throughout our stay. Concierge left us a little confused because they struggled to answer back in English and gave us the wrong information on where to buy sim cards. We had the breakfast package for two. You were given meal cards that you had to present when you went to eat breakfast. Once you do, the lovely servers would guide you to a table and asked if you would like any coffee or tea. They would walk around and clear any empty plates to make sure you don't feel crowded at the table. We ordered drinks at the pool bar and the bartender was lovely to talk to. Despite it being just us there he welcomed us to the hotel and asked what we wished to do in Makati. Once we talked about food he began talking about many restaurants around the hotel that he believed we would enjoy. Please give him our thanks because we went to the restaurant (Manam) he recommended for good Filipino food and we absolutely loved it! The security at the hotel was very friendly and made sure everyone was safe and okay. Overall, our stay was fantastic and would recommend any of our friends and families to stay at the Makati Diamond Residents!"

"We've been staying in Quest (Crimson) every time there's an occasion but this is the first time we had some concerns. First, 1 out of 4 rooms we booked became available around 5pm. It was a hassle because 5 people were stuck in a room waiting for the availability, we wanted to rest but we couldn't because there was only 1 bed. Second, there are guests who play roughly in the pool and the life guards will just look at them. There are occasional whistles they do but it didn't work. A lot of kids just opt to swim in the adult part because the other guests were uncontrollable. Third, towels and bathrobes took hours before being delivered. One of our family members even slipped in the bathroom because there are no floor mats available after calling them numerous times."

"The hotel is in a great location in Makati, right next to SM Mall, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's also only a fifteen-minute drive from the airport. There are a lot of guests, and overall it's good, but the hotel is a bit old. The breakfast is rich and excellent. The hotel has a gym and an outdoor pool, which are both decent. It feels very safe!"
