The apartment faces a huge nightclub, which started blasting bass at 9 a.m. and stayed that way until 3 a.m. The owner warned us about this particular location the night before we checked in, meaning there was no time to cancel our reservation and look for a new place. It's clear this was done on purpose, as if he'd given us at least a couple of days' notice, I would have looked elsewhere.
Our room had a balcony, which was more expensive than rooms without a balcony. But when we checked in, we found the door to the balcony tightly closed, so it's unclear why we'd overpaid. The air conditioning was barely keeping up, so besides the noise, we were suffocating. We'd had a fantastic night, and when the club closed and we were hoping to get a couple of hours' sleep before our flight, a rooster, who lives right outside the windows, started crowing.
If you're planning on partying all night at this club, you can check in, but if you're looking for even a little sleep, avoid this place.

First off, this hostel has an excellent location and a 24-hour front desk, which I highly recommend for anyone arriving on a red-eye flight.
However, there was a slight hiccup during check-in. Amango Home was fully booked, so I was moved to Amango Dorm. Both locations are about 200 meters apart and very convenient.
Upon check-in, a 100k deposit is required. You'll receive a towel set and a disposable toothbrush (first time seeing a hostel provide this!), along with a room card and key. The deposit is refunded upon check-out.
I tend to get cold easily, so I found the temperature perfect. It wasn't stuffy and unbearable as some reviews mentioned; I even needed a light blanket.
The bed width is sufficient and quite comfortable. They even provide two pillows, which is great. The curtains block out light very well, though they can be a bit noisy when moved.
Overall, I think the price is very reasonable, and I highly recommend booking an extra day to rest up if you have a lot of red-eye flights.
Just a heads-up: female dorms are on the 5th and 6th floors, and there's no elevator. Also, the shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom feel a bit basic, so if that's a deal-breaker, you might want to consider other options.

Excellent location – right next to the main street, 7-Eleven, McDonald's, cafes, and everything else you need. The street where the hotel is located is quiet and comfortable. But the biggest plus is the responsive and kind people at the reception – they always help and go the extra mile. They allowed us to leave our suitcase and personal belongings for several weeks and were very accommodating, thank you! We'll be back again!

1) Staying in this same hotel on my return trip from Vung Tau, but this time at 2nd floor. Found it is queiter than my last stay at 4th floor, with faint music from the bars, but without direct sun light.
2) The hotel was fully booked, so I stayed at hotel nearby, they are very small and without windows. Luckily able to stay here again, feel at home 😁
3) Many restaurants nearby and easy to catch bus to / from airport. For those who enjoy happy hours, this is the best place, where you can sleep without bustling noise from the bars.
4) The Sai Gon bus terminus is walking distance from hotel, so no problem at night to catch bus back to hotel.
5) Many tour operating companies nearby, easily arranged for my tour to Mekong Delta one day tour etc.

It was comfortable and clean. The only thing is, if you're arriving with a large suitcase, there's no elevator, so it was a struggle to carry it up the narrow stairs myself 😮💨. The hostess was also a pleasant girl and always responded quickly if I needed anything.

At night it is incredibly loud on the main walking street. It is like being at the front of a rock concert until 5am. I am not exaggerating your bed and body will shake from the bass. We might have been in a particularly bad room. I can sleep through anything, so it didn’t bother me too much but my fiancé couldn’t stand it. We both had earplugs in but it didn’t make much difference given we could feel the bass through our body. The hotel was very kind and refunded our booking for two nights of our three night stay. I can imagine if you plan on partying until 5am this is perfect. The rooms are clean and the service is great. Included breakfast was delicious. But for a young couple going to bed at 10pm, for an early start, it was a terrible idea for us to stay on the main waking street. It’s not the hotels fault. The street is insanely loud. It’s actually a problem how loud it is. There’s no need for that volume of noise, each club is trying to compete to be the loudest to a point of absurdity. It’s a kind of impressive how wild it is, coming from Australia where any kind of fun is outlawed.

KKekeThe hotel is just a two-minute walk from Ben Thanh Market, and there's a popular pho restaurant nearby. However, the surrounding area is quite noisy. The hotel service, on the other hand, was excellent. A special thanks to the bellboy at the back entrance who even helped us call our airport transfer driver. The hotel design has a bit of a 'cave-like' style, and the shower had good water pressure. It was also clean and hygienic.

However, traffic in Vietnam can be quite congested, so be prepared for potential delays if you're taking a taxi. Breakfast was excellent, with both Vietnamese specialties and a variety of Western options. As an established five-star hotel, the service and English proficiency of the staff were superb. My only gripe is that the housekeeping wasn't quite up to par. I stayed for six nights, and they hardly replenished the shower caps – I only got one for the entire stay! Also, the conditioner wasn't refilled after the first day; it was never topped up. In short, the room cleaning and replenishment services didn't meet five-star standards, failing even the most basic resupply needs.

GGuest UserWe booked for a family of 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). We were looking for apartments in the tallest building (landmark 81). When choosing, we relied solely on reviews. After a long flight, having warned in advance from the airport that we were leaving, we waited 40 minutes in the lobby for an employee to come to us. At the same time, they first tried to move us into another building from this residential complex, justifying this with the best view from the window. After the trial, they decided to put us in the landmark 81 building. When the staff brought us to the apartments, it turned out that someone was already living in them. After that, it took another 40 minutes for us to find another room in this building, and eventually we were moved into a three-bedroom apartment (we booked with two), which is why we were asked to move again the next day. As a result, we were provided with a free late eviction service for all the inconveniences caused. We also asked to leave our luggage for storage after check-out for a couple of hours, as a result, we could not receive it for almost an hour and almost missed the flight because of this. Despite all this, I had a good impression, because the view from the apartment window allowed me to smooth out all the shortcomings of the staff. If you need a stunning view from the window and you are not afraid of difficulties, I recommend booking!

GGuest UserIf your finances allow it, it's best not to choose this place. It's just like a private house in China with a few rooms upstairs. It's not very user-friendly, has no windows, and is located in an alley. It's a very bad choice. I gave up decisively when I went up and saw it because I couldn't cancel it. I would rather lose money than compromise.

Location is very good, right in the centre of D1. Walkable distance or less than 5 mins drive to all the tourist attractions. Price of the room was pretty affordable for its location. Considering it was my last minute booking. Room look exactly like the pictures. Forgot to take the picture so I just use the room issue photo 😅. Amenities and kits were provided.
Room cleaning definitely need some improvements. Saw some food residues on the floor and its corners. Bed was super hard, and its dented in the centre. Feels like sleeping in shell scrape. TV projector has huge burnt marks and audio is spoilt. Hopefully the room management can maintain it so that the future guest can enjoy it. Plug was faulty as shown in the picture and technician came in 2 days later as quoted.
Nonetheless, I will definitely return to this stay if I were to go back Saigon mainly because of the friendly staff and its location. Thank you Zeus Living!
