"The hostel is a good place to stay during my visit. the staff is super helpful and politely brief the guest . And they spoke English fluently. the toilet is clean , the resting area is comfy. the pantry had few free facilities . Also the place is really near to Jakarta Kota station, easy to travel trought the city and from airport. all the historical place was near and many food stall, cheaper souveniurs located."

"Firstly you need to find the “express” lift which is near happy mart on GF1. I only found it on the last day and had been using the factory lift which was very slow. Room was fantastic for the price. Clean room with comfy big bed soft pillows and strong hot shower. Great location if you are visiting Chinatown, which had plenty of food. Will definitely stay here again."

The gym and sauna were great and no extra charge. We didn't reserve breakfast but we did have room service and that was very good value for money. "This was my first time staying at Mercure Jakarta Kota. While the hotel is not new or luxurious, it offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, and I was especially impressed by the soundproofing between the room and the corridor — very well done. There was still a bit of noise from outside, but nothing too disturbing. The location is also convenient — it’s about 1 km walk to Chinatown, and getting a taxi is very easy from the hotel. Breakfast was quite local in style, but still decent and satisfying. The staff at breakfast were all very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job during my stay. The bathroom is a bit old, but everything worked perfectly, including hot water and water pressure. The only real drawback is the elevator, which feels a bit outdated. However, considering the overall value for money, this is easy to overlook. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. I was satisfied with everything and would definitely return next time I’m in Jakarta!"
