The highlight would be the spacious rooms, cleanliness, and central location near shops, cafés, and major attractions. Apartments include kitchenettes & WiFi.

Great location, very close to train station and multiple bus stops nearby. Walkable to many touristy spots. Receptionists were very helpful, they also provide luggage storage. The only major downside is no aircon, and the room was much hotter than outside. We tried opening the windows on the first night and got bitten by mosquitoes, which was worse than being hot. The next day we got a fan, but still a bit too hot to sleep. Apart from that, overall it was a good spot

I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!

Very good and economic hotel eveything is just fine and recommend

On the way back from salento we did a pit stop here. Travelling with jdis and grand parents it was a great solution as it offered dinner (very authentic and delicious) and breakfast. The place was also great in nature with lots of green so it was also a nice little stop for the kids. Lots of beds in our suite. Only (slight) downside was theres no AC but we were in nature and kept windows open with the fans.

17 min away from the port terminal or 8 min from the train station. The place is neat and clean. Rooms are adequately illuminated and comparatively spacious. Staff are very nice and friendly and super helpful. My friend left something in the ship and the reception staff helped to contact the ship company to report the lost. Highly recommended 👍🏼
