"It was a last minute trip for my family to Trieste. Fortunately and very gladful that I managed to book a room with Urbanauts. It was also one of the best choices I have made. It was so easy and convenient for the check-in process, and the location is very strategic where it is walkable to the main attractions. There is coop nearby as well for us to grab some snacks or drinks. The building itself is nicely furnished with a lift, our room toilet and kitchen are equipped with all the necessity that are very useful to us. I highly recommend this place to stay and will book with them again in the near future !"

"I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!"
"The apartment is in a great location, 10 minutes walk to the train station, a few minutes to Unification Square, and about 10 minutes to the cruise terminal. Because we got off the cruise at 9:30 in the morning, after communicating with the apartment, they immediately agreed to let us move in early, and the office staff downstairs personally took us in, which was a very good experience."
"In someone else's house, I knocked on the door and they didn't open the living room. They booked together. The friend helped to open the door. The soundproofing was particularly poor. Other guests walked around and were very noisy. When I went to pick up the luggage in the afternoon, they didn't mention the things that fell in the room? The only advantage is that there is a self-service kitchen."
"I loved our overnight stay at The Modernist! It’s a chic, smart, arty hotel in the centre of the city, easy walking distance to all the shopping, bars and restaurants. The room was spotless with tea, coffee, minibar and toiletries all provided. The restaurant and cocktail bar serves creative cocktails, a great buffet breakfast and a fabulous dinner - we enjoyed them all!!"
"Great location, very close to train station and multiple bus stops nearby. Walkable to many touristy spots. Receptionists were very helpful, they also provide luggage storage. The only major downside is no aircon, and the room was much hotter than outside. We tried opening the windows on the first night and got bitten by mosquitoes, which was worse than being hot. The next day we got a fan, but still a bit too hot to sleep. Apart from that, overall it was a good spot"

Amazing
GGuest UserPalace is classic early 1900 architecture and luxury feeling, historic art and beauty accompanied us to the breakfast hall, while room was contemporary and convenient, services recently renewed, the hotel is located in the historic centre of the elegant Port City, car valet service very useful, in 10/15 minutes walking you can reach museums and best cafe’ restaurants
GGuest UserA great place to stay, service was wonderful, Great location to transport and restaurants, And coffee shops. The only negative was no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. We would definitely stay here again.
TtravelingwitchTrisete is a city suitable for holidays With the grotto nearby and historical buildings Hotel providing good seafood in the restaurant, good options for the breakfast Stunning view of the sea Love the spatial balcony
GGuest UserIt's a nice place, very good location, and the staff is very kind and helpful. But this place is not a hostel. It doesn't have a kitchen and there's no common room where normally it's possible to meet and socialize with other travellers. You can stay in the bar that's downstairs, but definitely you don't feel like being in a hostel. The dorm is okay and the beds are comfortable, so it was not bad overall.
TTimeTravellerIf you want to truly experience Trieste in the right location and with style then this is the place. A small perfectly built Palace run by staff who care about their guests. There is absolutely everything you need here. I arrived late at night and when I walked out onto the breakfast room the following room found myself saying wow at the view on the stunning Piazza. I choose this hotel because I had always wanted to stay there in Trieste, I did return for a second stay and I would stay there again. You are close to the sea, the historical centre, numerous bars and restaurants, shopping and tourist hotspots. The rooms are lovely, majestically clean. Breakfast are a relaxing experience you do not want to hurry because why would you with that view around you. The bar is the place to be throughout the day and also acts as an informal restaurant throughout the day. Formal is also available but that was not my choice. Rooms were large comfortable and very clean with the best amenities provided. Book your stay, you know you want to!
GGuest UserReceptionist was very welcoming! Keep up the good job girls! Refreshing drinking water just before the reception, is a bonus. Central location, mostly flat pedestrian walk to everywhere. Amenities is in sufficient. No tissue box. Room is clean but too dim and no light in the shower cubicle. Hope this genuine review will help others to decide.
GGuest UserNot enough options for breakfast (only boiled eggs). Good selection of bread, desserts and fruit. They organize guests during breakfast in time slots to avoid over crowding. Spotless room with marble tile walls and floors in bathroom. Very close to downtown and points of interest.
GGuest User17 min away from the port terminal or 8 min from the train station. The place is neat and clean. Rooms are adequately illuminated and comparatively spacious. Staff are very nice and friendly and super helpful. My friend left something in the ship and the reception staff helped to contact the ship company to report the lost. Highly recommended 👍🏼
LLori C.A safe, 3-star hotel in a great location that's excellent for solo travelers. It's located near the cruise ship terminal (18 minute walk) and train station. There are restaurants, shopping, a 24-hour laundromat, post office, and grocery store nearby. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was able to check in early; they also offer a luggage storage room. I received excellent travel advice...I was able to plan and execute a day trip on a water taxi to Muggia, Italy on my arrival day then went to Slovenia the following day. They also booked an early morning (0430 am) airport taxi for me as well. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and was constantly replenished but not a big area, again great for solos. My room on the 5th floor was a little outdated but clean and comfortable. The front desk is not open 24-hours. I would definitely stay here again.
