Hotels near Ararayama Shrine, Fujiyoshida

It's near Mt Fuji station to access train & intercity bus, within walk range. I book twin room with mountain view, all good, very clean, tidy, comfortable, & quiet (very good to catch deep sleep after your busy day traveling). Bathroom, washtafel, kitchen are shared in very good condition & comes in complete amenities & tools! They provide free coffee, tea, homemade bread, block ice, & all seasoning for cooking. Very nice! *I forgot to capture bed & bathroom in empty condition, lol

Came here for my friend’s birthday celebration. Hotel has tea ceremony on arrival (free of charge) at around 4pm, in a traditional tea house facing a beautiful river, the hotel also gave us a glass of a Japanese sake (also free of charge) that we can enjoy next to the river. Room is big, came with a private hot spring in the room, hot spring and living room is facing mt Fuji, very nice room. There’s a traditional drum shows after dinner everyday, also a small game after the show. We were very lucky that we both got a gift from the game. There was cockroaches in the room, one big cockroach and a few very tiny cockroaches in the bathroom area, others than that, it’s a beautiful place to stay. Still love this hotel v much.

Beautiful Ryokan with private onsen overlooking Fuji-San. Love the impeccable service and the amenities we can use. A walk in the garden is certainly recommended and look for the Fuji-San Vantage Point

The accommodation offers views of Mount Fuji; the view is amazing.

This accommodation is superb, facilities are amazing, units are huge, gadgets are phenomenal, views of the mountain is spectacular, free shuttle service is fantastic. The service is excellent, there is one tiny area of improvement, due to my lack of understanding the complex transport network in Japan, my land arrangements were somewhat daunting. When asking for help/advice at reception, the staff’s knowledge of what is available in what is a major tourist destination is lacking. There is a free shuttle bus that does a loop every hour and would have ben ideal to go to the lake area, however we only discovered this once there, and this was after asking the staff directly. But all in all , I will be back

This hotel is stunning with a great location, there are so many corners that can see Mt.Fuji (if you have luck that it's not too shy for you 😂)

The owner is very nice. She know English and we can communicate. The breakfast given is nice too! We have been recommended to some good dinner place in Fujiyoshida!

Great location, right outside Fujisan staion. Transport are available within walking distance. Owner of the place is very friendly. Room is clean and cozy. Able to view Mt.Fuji from the windows.

I arrived late at night from Fuji Station and had to pay 3,700 yen for a taxi. I was surprised when I got there because the house was located on a hill and the road was very dark. I asked the taxi driver to wait while I walked down to check. Luckily, the lights were on and I found the host waiting to welcome us warmly, even though it was already late. Owner had already prepared hot water and asked what time we would like to take a bath. She even guided us to a small onsen. The host was very attentive and kind. Although the place looked a bit scary at night from the outside, the inside was very warm and cozy. When I woke up the next morning, I felt completely rested. The room was clean, and the host’s hospitality made the whole experience feel so worthwhile. I felt like the money I spent was totally worth it—it gave me not only comfort but also beautiful memories. The atmosphere was like staying in a countryside vacation home—quiet, peaceful, and heartwarming. If you’re planning to rent a car, this is definitely a place I’d recommend. There’s a parking space, and it’s not crowded at all. I truly want to recommend this place!
