Hotels near Fukashi Shrine, Matsumoto

"Buena Vista was perfect from the moment we walked to the entrance. A very friendly, smartly dressed member of staff greeted us and took us to the check in desk which is in a lovely vibrant reception area. We had quite a small room with no shelves but it was comfortable and had an excellent shower. The breakfasts were in a fairly small area, which makes it feel a little crowded, but we always got a table and the food was varied. We tried the buffet one night which had nice food but it was warm rather than hot. We then tried the Chinese restaurant which was excellent - quality food, served by friendly staff for reasonable prices. This hotel is in a great location as it’s only a few minutes from the station. The staff were all excellent - professional and friendly."

"The hotel located in good location, with walking distance to the city center area where you can find shops, restaurants, or even Matsumoto Castle. Parking lot provided with fees but it’s quite convenient. The most favorite from this hotel is there’re plenty of amenities – shampoo, conditioner, shower gel from a lot of brands that you can select by yourself at the lobby."

"Very nice, shoeless hotel with open air Onsen near the railway station. Good breakfast but the same every day Free economy style ramen at night Best view from the window!"

"I was stranded in Matsumoto because I overestimated the travel time I had remaining to make the JR schedule. The Dormy at Matsumoto was perfect - the outdoor rooftop hot spring in the snow was one of my favorite experiences. Breakfast ended at 9:30 so I missed it - usually I think breakfasts end at 10:30. But they had free Hersheys ice cream, Yakult, coffee, and more throughout the small Disneyland-hotel-Ryokan."

"Great location next to Alpico bus station and only 5 mins walk from JR station! Staffs are really nice with amazing service mind. The room is nice and clean! Had a good experience staying there and would like to recommend it for anyone visiting Matsumoto!"

"Location is about 1 km from train station, but it’s very near Matsumoto Castle. Breakfast is fine and the room size is tiny same as other hotel in Japan."

"Just stop by for 1 night on the way to Kamikochi. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with local food. Close to the train station."

"Vintage hotel, location is very conveniently located between the nawate street and the station."

"The hotel is located close to the Matsumoto castle, with quiet and decent shops around. Also, there are some lanes have shops with characters. The big bath in the hotel is clean and lovely. The hotel in genwral has a feel of vintage with in very good condition. The room is spacious with beautiful mountain view as a background. Breakfast is good in quality with both western and Japanese style food."

"We stayed as a group of four. The room was clean and comfortable. We were really glad that they changed our room to a larger one than originally planned. It's a ryokan (Japanese inn) that we would like to stay at again."
