"Good location, next to Marrakech train station. Breakfast was good. The gym has a view of the pool. Drinking water max 2 bottles per day."

"We had a fantastic stay at Mohamed's apartment in the Al Ismailia residence. The apartment is beautiful, impeccably clean, and so well-equipped it felt like a true home away from home. Mohamed is a wonderful and attentive host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The thoughtful provisions like coffee, water, and cooking spices (baharat) were a lovely touch that made our stay even more comfortable. The building is modern and feels very safe, and the Gueliz location is perfect for exploring. We would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed at the Grand Mogador Menara & Spa on January 30–31, 2026, for a quick overnight escape in Marrakech. The hotel's elegant Moroccan decor and spacious, clean room immediately impressed me—comfortable bed, modern amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere after a day out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially at reception and during check-in/out"

"Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family"

"Fairly new and upmarket Modern Hotel, with a Great breakfast buffet. It took a while to check in. Room was very comfortable. There was tea, coffee, a kettle, a fridge, decent quality a hand wash and shower gel, black out curtains, spacious balcony, comfortable bed/pillows/duvet. Had a few issues in the room, there was hair in the sink, shower and coffee area, the shower cubicle leaked and the balcony door did not lock. It was quite noisy at night with heavy traffic - the train station is on the other side of the road. The rooftop bar is spectacular and has the swimming pool next to it. Staff were very professional at all times. Overall a decent stay."

"Very friendly and welcoming staff, the room is spacious. The hotel is near the city center train station, McDonald's, KFC and Starbucks. It is very cheap to take a taxi to the attractions. The hotel swimming pool is also very wide. I can't believe that this hotel is only 40 pounds."

"Perfect for Solo. 5 nights. They treated me well and also spoke very good English.❤️"

"The facility is located right in town and a very beautiful location. What standout is the great service by the staff. Honorable mention to Hamza at the front desk and the whole team. The breakfast was delicious and the staff at the restaurant are simply amazing. The house keeping team keep the place neat and tidy all the time but they could do with improving the titling at the facility. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and the service was excellent. I will do it over again if I have to."

"The hotel is very clean. It has free coffee station at the reception area. Thumbs up for the exceptional and attentive services provided by the front desk receptions. They use WhatsApp to communicate with hotel guests, that’s extremely helpful."
