We stayed at the hotel for two days. Unfortunately, the room floor felt sticky, which made it quite uncomfortable.
Housekeeping was responsive — they provided room slippers and extra pillows promptly after I made a request, which I appreciated.
However, the hotel surroundings were quite dark at night, as there were no roadside lights, which may feel unsafe for some guests.
Breakfast was provided but limited to a simple à la carte option. Guests could choose only one item (nasi lemak, lontong, vegetarian meal, or bread). Coffee and orange juice were available as self-service.
Overall, the service was acceptable, but there is room for improvement, particularly in cleanliness and breakfast variety.

This is a self check in hotel and it's fortunate the check in process is very fluid and hassle free.
Given the price paid, I'd say it's worth every penny. The room is large, has a decent living room, balcony, dry kitchen and many amenities.
Also, it's near to the Boh plantation and mossy forest trail. You don't need to walk far for food, convenience store and so on, if you don't feel like it.
The parking is not free though so it'll actually cost quite a lot if you decide to drive in and out a few times a day. Even though maximum charge is RM5.30 or day, I incurred maybe over RM12 as I need to go out a few times.

My stay was pleasant overall. Although there was no air conditioner, opening the windows allowed fresh air in, and the natural breeze worked wonders. The hotel’s location was strategic, making it convenient to get around, and the property itself was relatively new.
However, one downside was that the lift was not functioning, which could be inconvenient for some guests. That said, the staff was very accommodating and helpful, which made the experience better.
Overall, a good stay with a nice balance of comfort and nature!

We recently spent 3 days and 2 nights at the 3-room apartment in Nova Highlands Hotel, located in the heart of Cameron Highlands. The apartment is spacious and well-suited for families or small groups, offering three separate bedrooms, a living area, and basic kitchen amenities. Its location is convenient, directly above a shopping arcade with eateries, a convenience store, and tourist attractions like the butterfly garden nearby.
Overall, our stay was comfortable, though there are areas for improvement. Cleanliness was average, and some furnishings showed signs of wear. The unit could benefit from better maintenance, particularly in the bathrooms. Noise from the surrounding area can also be heard in the evenings. However, the view from the balcony and the cool mountain air made up for it. It’s a decent, no-frills option for travelers looking for space and accessibility without expecting luxury.

Location is great. Just walking distance to centrum mall n centrum night market. Very near to many shops n convenient store.
The bathroom looks so scary. Should improve. Old furniture for bed n sofa. No water filter/provide mineral water in room. Very dissapointed.Mind u the plug point only 2. Excluding 2 for tv n astro. No plug point at bed side . Super inconvenient to charge yr phone. Should add more plug point/provide extension.
I was so shock to learn no fan at all upon checkin the room . Had to request standing fan since no ac in room . But they accomodate very well n fast. Although hv window, but u still need the air circulation. Feels very stuffed if no air flow. The window lock should be changed. Anytime can be broken.

We had a pleasant stay at Kea Garden Mini Chalet. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, including the toilet and bathroom, which were also well-maintained and tidy. I’ve stayed in this hotel a few time,why? Because u can just parked car infront or basement and walk around 500m either for brisk walking in morning or at least 30 attraction near by.Food/Restaurants/Cafes/Petrol station/mini mart/Steamboat and MKT all near by.Frint rest staff very obliging.Breakfast is simple and very filling .Everything is good only 4 things need to upgrade since 30 years ,WiFi strength,Water pressure,ants encroaching and noisy tenants .Thank you for the hospitality.

Very strategic place to stay. The price is also very affordable, which makes it a great option for budget travelers.
However, my room was on the 3rd floor, We had to use the stairs, which was a bit inconvenient especially when carrying luggage and when going out. Parking can also be a little difficult to find at times.

JJessOctThe hotel is a bit apart but for my family this was a plus since we had rented a car and we were surrounded by nature, the fresh air, quietness and wide rooms are great, it’s not very new hotel but the environment was very nice, have a little park for kids my daughter enjoyed a lot. If order food need to find it at the hotel entrance which is a bit inconvenient but I guess is safety issue. Also a kind and funny Bunny received us at the lobby when we checked-in, my daughter really liked it. We definitely would repeat the experience in the hotel.

GGuest UserLocation: Perfect as middle of Cameron. Easy to access Mall and variety of foods.
Service: Firstly, the owner or management gave wrong location. Secondly, the key was located on P1 post box but lift at P2. Thirdly, at Lift B got 1 lift only, need to wait for very long to go to Homestay.
Cleanliness: No complaint on it.
Facilities: All good as the management prepared food amenities with fridge, cooker and electric stove. Other than that bed and room amenities perfect but the Entertainment system sucks, the TV useless for Indians as only got 1 channel to access other than that the TV and Room Fan remotes malfunctions. The balcony table is not there as on example.
Anyway, i loved the location with surrounding entertaining areas and view from the balcony and window.

KKarolinaTThe location is great, close to many restaurants and shops. Someone is at the reception 24/7, which is a big convenience for those arriving late and the hotel staff are welcoming.
However, the room itself was just disgusting. Nail clippings and hair on the carpet, bathroom clearly has not been cleaned in ages as the drain was full with hair, shower curtain and the walls around the shower were covered in mould and dirt from multiple guests. The wifi in the room was not working for us at all (one of the reasons I booked the hotel so I could plan my further itinerary without using mobile data), and although there is an offsite parking, it easily gets full and then you need to park elsewhere. According to the room description there should be coat hangers in the room but there were none.
I booked this hotel last minute so I did not have much choice this time, but I will definitely never come back to this place.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at Kea Garden Guest House and found several areas that could be improved.
There were not enough pillows provided, which affected our comfort. The room felt quite warm even though the weather outside was cold. Having at least one fan in the room would be helpful, as the windows cannot be opened due to privacy concerns and safety reasons. The windows also cannot be locked, which feels unsafe.
The TV had no selectable channels available. It would be better to provide Netflix or a similar streaming service so guests can relax at night, especially during rainy weather when going out is limited.
The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, possibly coming from the tiles or drainage. The iron is placed outside the room, which is inconvenient. It would be more practical to place an iron inside the room and simply check the room inventory during check-out before returning the deposit.
Parking is also limited and shared with visitors who come to shop in the area, making it difficult to find parking.
Overall, the guest house has potential, but improvements in room comfort, facilities, and safety would greatly enhance the guest experience.

Floor is very dirty and sticky, the toilet is slippery as well, there isnt any anti slippery carpet .the curtain is mouldy
There's yellow stains and black stains on blanket bed and carpet.The bed sets are dirty.
The hot water for shower is not functioning well.

GGuest UserThe place was nice but a bit smelly. Not recommended for a big family like 7-8 people. On the 2nd day, our room's heater was not working, but they gave us another room. So far they provide good service.
