From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. Perfect Location, near the airport and very accessible

Will book again here. The place was clean and my baby was happy spending our staycation here. The food in breakfast buffet was also good. We lived it here

The hotel has a great location, if you are just catching a flight. The terminal is at a walking distance. Room is spacious and comfortable, i only felt certain areas could have been a bit cleaner, as there were food crumbles scattered around desk. Maybe it was cleaned in a rush, as they forgot to even put the towel in, but i got it after a request. In the bathroom, there is hot water, but only hard soap and shampoo available, no body shower gel. Prepare to have 500 pesos for the key deposit. But also, they were flexible when i said i am leaving the country, and would prefer not to have a cash leftover (dont do my mistake, you still need to pay the airport terminal fee in cash - 784 pesos!). I decided to spend my last banknotes on food. Frankly, the shop in the hotel building is so overpriced, that I rather walked 5 minutes back toward town, and bought some snacks at 7/11, much more affordable. You can buy instant noodles and make them with the hot water from the hotel corridor. There's a water heater in the room also (for instant coffee), but you would have to bring drinkable water. Well, there were even instant noodles offered in the room, but i didnt see utensils available (spoon, or fork, or anything of such).

My stay at crown is super amazing, the bed and the room is comfy same as the outside of the Hotel.

SMX Lanang is just a walking distance here like 5-7minutes. If you want to buy things, a lot of stores are available outside, it's very convenient. It was a nice stay coz were very close to SMX where our event is, we won't think about traffic anymore coz it's a walking distance.
