Hotels near Ponce de Leon Statue, San Juan

"Perfect hotel in an amazing location in Old San Juan! The staff is incredible — friendly, helpful, and always available. The rooms are beautiful, stylish, and very comfortable. There’s a rooftop jacuzzi which is a huge bonus and adds to the whole experience. And the best part — amazing coffee available 24/7! Highly recommended!"

"Excellent place to stay very close to all the shops and all the different tourist attractions although we are from the island originally, we currently live in the U.S. We were very pleased on how accommodating the service was, and how I aesthetic the view of the whole place was. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended."

"This hotel was very nicely located and had a fair amount of parking if you rent a car. There are 2 coffee shop’s very close that is super nice for the morning if you’re planning on walking into old San Juan. There is no hair dryer or lotion in the bathroom as well as not Many spots to hang used towels or bathing suits. Our main issue is that the shower head in the bathroom was broken the whole stay the water trickled out of the top shower head. We alerted the hotel staff who assured it would be fixed the second day of the trip but when we checked in they said they weren’t sure if it was fixed (it wasn’t). The water would go from hot to cold very dramatically without touching the handle. It was impossible to get a comfortable shower after being on the beach and in the heat all day you were either scorched or frozen. The small handheld nozzle did work. The room was clean and the AC worked great but did have a leak onto the floor under it. I just wish in the 2 nights we stayed we were able to get a nice shower. Other reviews of staff not being present are accurate they come in later in the day but are available via text but when they were there they were helpful. The hotel offered late check out as compensation but when we tried the key card after 11 (we were offered 2pm check out) the card did not work"

"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, food was amazing and the pool area was nice. Highly recommended"

"The staff was really nice and accommodating. We stayed 1 night after our cruise and we were able to leave our luggage before we checked in. Great location, walking distant to restaurants, downtown and shopping. we stayed in room 1 and we had warm water to shower."

"Due to a change in plans, we did not use the room. They have a no-refund policy, that's what I know about Navona Studios."

"When traveling to San Juan, there is little information about hotels in the old city, except for the popular hotels. This hotel should be a relatively large private hotel, not a brand chain. The location is very convenient, close to all attractions. I just walked around the old city. You can see the scenery on the top floor of the hotel, and the bar may not be open until the peak season. It is clean and OK. The room has a high ceiling. We stayed in a suite with a large bed + a sofa bed in the outer room and a water bar. When we entered the room, the sofa bed had been pulled out and made, and we checked in at 2:30. It was relatively quiet when we stayed, and the sound insulation was acceptable. There is a small front desk in the lobby. They greeted you politely when you entered and left. When they saw you carrying large luggage, they would help you open the door. Overall, it was OK, not old. I didn't buy breakfast."

"Everything was great, the location was great, and the jacuzzi was great after visiting the city."

"It’s a beautiful place to spend your vacation. The amenities are beautiful and the place is romantic. Highly recommend for couples."

"If you like a small intimate hotel, rich in culture and tapestry you cannot go wrong here. Is beautiful, tasteful and has all of the amenities for your stay. As well as a four poster bed, lovely and warm shower there is a roof top with a hot tub that is lovely and hot, with sun beds too. It is so tasteful and exquisite you will be blown away. The staff clock off early, so you have to remember to have your access codes to get in the front door. The staff were very warm and welcoming to us.  There is a large dining room with an ice maker and microwave. You’ll love it, just like we did."
