What can I say, this Hotel was a real letdown.
I had to stay another night due to having to work 'online' and not needing the inconvenience of moving hotels. But regretted having booked in the first instance. I did give a bad review last time, but I feel after my second night's stay, which I booked separately may I add. Was not good.......
I dropped something by the bed and thought it may have gone under the bed, so I looked. Omg, there must have been 4 cm of dust under there, oh dear!
Apart from being most dated, marks on the walls broken floor trim, only 3 hangers (2 of which had two small robes hanging on them) and old dated furniture.
The staff were lovely and helpful.
I have a room on the first floor, and to be absolutely honest, I have never cocarkroaches in any of the hotels I've stayed at before. This was shocking!
Absolutely, thumbs down for this hotel. My person option yes, but I have stayed at better hotels for less money. The pool looked okay

The hotel looks good. Owner is very accommodating and polite. Staff always tries their best to tailor to the clients’ needs, very tactful and accommodating. Location could be both - good and bad, depending on your needs. It is very nice and quiet in general, pretty close to a bunch of landmarks, but also happens to be outside of the pickup range for all the tour agents, for instance we’ve had to take a taxi to the closest pick up location(7-10mins). For us it was actually perfect because we wanted a nice and tranquil getaway from the city hustle and bustle. Quite a few great restaurants, 7/11 and other stores in vicinity too. A minor drawback for me was that they didn’t provide bathrobes, and i do like wearing them at the hotel, but again, depends on ur needs. One major drawback for me was the laundry service-they did provide it, it was quite flexible and quick, but by the time I opened the bag(last minute before the check out) I’ve discovered that my white sport suit and my mom’s white dress was ruined( it had pinkish spots all over it which I’m not sure if I’ll be able to ever get off, so be mindful of that. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and beautiful scenery, would love to come again.

The service was excellent! They offered complimentary water and snacks. The breakfast was good – enough to fill you up without being too much, just right. However, there weren't enough tables for dining. I felt the room was a bit dusty, but overall, it was lovely. The staff were all very kind and provided great service.

The receptionist is very good. The room is clean and the accommodation is good. At first, the bedside lamp was broken. I informed them and they immediately changed it. It was my first time in Chiang Mai and I was impressed. In the morning, I was not feeling well and had diarrhea. The staff brought medicine to my room. 👍🏻

I stayed at B2 Resort Chiang Mai and had an overall decent experience. The building looks a bit old and could use some renovation, especially in the exterior areas. However, the room was acceptable for a short stay and provided the basic necessities.
One thing to note is that there is no complimentary drinking water provided in the room, but you can conveniently purchase bottled water at the reception desk.

Very well furnished, clean hotel. There is a nice garden outside but unfortunately that is a smoking zone. Check-in was smooth. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom, soap, shampoo were great. The room I was allocated had noise from music nearby. I couldn't sleep early as a result. Breakfast was sufficient. Given the location of the hotel, the amenities existing in the hotel are necessary but they aren't functional. Bar and restaurant weren't functional during my stay. Accessibility to/ from the hotel are an issue. Even grab is not reliable in this area during evenings unless you book premium. The public park nearby is quite pretty and at a walking distance but there are rabid dogs en route, making it very unsafe. The sidewalks are unleveled. Lady at the reception working at night wasn't helpful to me or other guests who had simple requests. Trashy attitude. Reception imparts the first and final impression of a hotel, so a welcoming and helpful attitude is mandatory for good business. What's the point in naming a hall after Mahamaya when even basic 'maya' is delivered in a shabby way. Have a job, do it right or else sitting at home is always an option available by default.

Staff: Mostly friendly and professional, except few. I asked the female staff for early check-in and left my luggage at the designated place. Then, she said, “No, you have to wait until 14:00”. Immediately after her response, the male staff approached me and processed it. He also allowed me to change room without any charge and to store my luggage in the room, instead of the designated area.
Room: For those who like 80s-90s vibe, this is for you, and me too. The AC is loud and cleaned. The ceiling, on the other hand, has strains from water. The curtain has a strain that looks like either blood or coffee. The wall looks unpolished, creating a running down impression of the hotel. The socket, TV, lift, and fridge are functional, fortunately. 2 bottles of water are set by the hotel standard. Please clean up those strains and walls.
Bathroom: It contains dusts on the ventilation fan’s cover. There is mold strain on the wall that could be mistaken as black mold initially. Please clean up it as it could evolve to such in the future.
Location: Not far away from the pubs, so music can get loud inside the room as it has poor soundproof. Unless you don’t mind the sound, or want to stay away from the city centre, go for it.

The hotel's location was just okay. Rooms were very scarce at the Sky Lantern Street Hotel at the time. The hygiene was also mediocre. The size of the room was decent. There were some bugs in the hallway. The surrounding environment of the hotel was also quite ordinary.

✨ An Overwhelmingly Amazing Stay at Chai Cheevit Maesa ✨ The journey to the resort itself felt like an adventure — the off-terrain road might be a little wild, but it only added to the excitement and made the arrival even more rewarding. From the very first moment, we were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome. The staff here are beyond wonderful — always helpful, attentive, and thoughtful, even before our arrival when communication and service were impressively fast. And then… the view! Just wow. Absolutely worth the drive. It truly feels like a hidden gem tucked away from the chaos of the city. The peace and calm of the surroundings instantly washed away the stress of daily life — such a refreshing escape. Every detail of our stay was filled with care. From the flawless service throughout to our beautiful evening dinner, everything felt personal and special. It’s rare to find a place that gives both adventure and tranquility in one experience. The only downside? Having to leave such an amazing place! I would 100% recommend Chai Cheevit Maesa to anyone looking for something unique, peaceful, and unforgettable. I’m already planning to come back — and next time, I’ll be staying longer!

CChutimaVery cozy and nice resort in Mon Jam. The resort architecture was really homey. We came to the resort too early before check-in time but we've been received great service and hospitalized to get early check-in also been upgraded to the bigger room to ”Mon Fah” that you can enjoy the stunning view at your room great balcony area. Hot chamomile tea retreated me from a bit cold but fresh greenery after rain during check-in waiting. After check-in, we took lunch at resort restaurant that they had Michaelin stars 3 consecutive years. Food was fresh and very healthy delicious especially organic vegg. We felt very warm hospitalized from all service minded and well trained staffs and especially 'Pee Su” the owner. All fruits especially papaya was really sweet and fresh. We encouraged yo support local organic farm directly here that you can enjoy shopping papaya, lemon, and seasonal vegg and fruits here. ”Nong Kwan” the resort staff brought us to the local chilli, lettuce and cabbage farm down hill that easy to access from resort. She's really friendly and amazingly she learnt how to plant by herself, from long year experience learning by doing was such a great expertise that she shared her know how with us and we learnt from her a lot about high land plantation. We appreciated Pee Su, Long Kwan and all staffs provided us great service like friends visit home. We promised next time to Mon Jam, we'll revisit your place once again for sure.

We had a truly lovely experience. Stayed for two nights and it was absolute perfection — the views, the atmosphere, the mountain air — everything was just right. The complimentary breakfast is simple but satisfying: congee, eggs, sausage, toast, and instant coffee or tea. We also ordered dinner both nights — highly recommend it! The hot pot + BBQ combo was incredible, and the other dishes were equally delicious. Make sure to have enough cash with you, the bbq is not to be missed! Do note: the location is a bit remote, nestled high in the mountains, and the journey can be tricky. Google Maps directions are inaccurate, so be sure to follow the clearly marked signs leading to the homestay. Thank you to the beautiful family who hosted us — your warmth and hospitality made our stay unforgettable.

It's a comfortable resort with sports facilities which we can use for free. Recommend to bring your own equipment. There is a gym room (although dated), two tennis courts, indoor badminton and pickle ball courts, squash courts, a snooker and a pool. We like to swim in the big swimming pool. The room is spotlessly clean. The mattress is too soft for me. The staff is helpful and nice. The buffet breakfast is simple but delicious. They provide Asian cooked dishes like rice, fried meat with vegetables. Also corn flakes with milk, toast, fruits and vegetable salad.
