A landmark since its inception The Pickwick Hotel is a fine example of Neo Gothic Architecture. The hotel is very conveniently located for attending the conference at Moscone Center. It is less than 10 mts walk. There is a BART station within 2-5 mts walk. The hotel location is downtown and you will find homeless people and drug users nearby. Especially at night need to be careful. The hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful. I really like the hotel because of the service attitude of the staff. The rooms are decently big, have adequate space for luggage, clean and well maintained. The bathroom is small. There is no separate hot water kettle and we have to use the coffee maker. They provide free coffee and tea . The free wifi connection was fine in my room. There is a fantastic breakfast place right next door. We did not opt for breakfast with our room booking. But we ate there many days. Excellent food and service! Their house potatoes, french toast, omelettes and other dishes were excellent. Must try! There is a shopping center and multiple eateries near by. Tried a few different food options, but did not have time for shopping. Overall Pickwick is a very good hotel and is value for money, especially for business travelers attending events/conference at Moscone center.

Great location, near bus stop and has grocery stores around like target and trader joe's only 5-7 mins walk. Good choice of breakfast, lot of choices. We had a great stay, and was accommodated with a nice Filipina lady when we came around 9 which is too early to check-in, she let us park our baggage and said to come back like around 11 and said that she'll try to get us a room ready, but when we came back, the Chinese lady which I think the manager, she's kinda rude and not that accommodating compared to the first lady that assisted us, she told us to come back at 1 . For sure, we'll come back in this hotel when we get a chance to go to SF again.

The hotel's location is perfect for timely travel to my destination and to and from the airport. The hotel is beautiful and actually looks better in person than pictured. As a woman traveling alone, safety is always a priorty. I felt very safe entering and exiting the hotel, moving from my room to hotel common spaces such as the lobby and in my room. I was able to get a room with a bathtub and a quiet view. I traveled on cold, rainy day and was pleased that the thermostat worked well, as 76 degrees felt like 76 degrees. Needless ro say, I was quite comfortable. Significantly, the food options were convenient and tasty. I needed to extend my stay another day and the reception staff were very accommodating as I was able to keep the same room. I will most definitely book again and recommend to friends.

DDavGaoMy favorite CitizenM hotel, the experience was as great as always. The downtown area is right downstairs, and even though it's a bit messy, I never felt unsafe. It's also very close to the tram station. Just a heads up, the 'dangerous' tenderloin district isn't too far from here.

EErbasOur stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great.
Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience.
We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.

GGuest UserThis Hotel has great customer service all the way through. It is in a prime location basically a block from Fisherman’s Wharf. The rooms are a little small, the bathroom is as well. They have a vanity outside of the room with the only bathroom switch which I thought was weird. I requested a quiet room and I got exactly that so beggars can’t be choosers. All in all it’s a good hotel especially when you are out and about in the City.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is convenient, about 800 meters' walk to the Civic Center/UN Plaza metro station, and close to Union Square and Chinatown. However, there are many homeless people in the surrounding streets, which makes the environmental smell a bit strong. Although the room is a bit cramped, it is generally clean and tidy. The blackout curtains are excellent, and there are plenty of power outlets near the desk and bed. The bath towels are very new and pleasant to use. Breakfast is served from 7-10 AM, but the variety is simple.
