Hotels near The VETS, Providence

A very well appointed hotel conveniently located in the historic downtown adjacent to RISD and an easy, if uphill walk, to Brown, with a number of decent restaurants nearby. The furnishings, bathroom, and linens were all of high quality. Despite other reviews I found the staff to be rather limited in their engagement versus the friendliness praised elsewhere, but nothing off-putting. The restaurant Bellini tries to punch a bit above its weight though for Providence it’s decent. Overall by far the best hotel in Providence but still a stretch from true five star luxury or a genuine upscale business hotel like Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental.

The room was exceptionally beautiful and spacious, clean and tidy, and check-in was very convenient! The host responded super quickly. One suggestion is to clearly mark the location of the main entrance and the rooms on the first floor. When I was staying, someone from another room knocked on my door, and I thought it was a burglar, but it turned out they just couldn't find their room. It's within a five-minute walk of Brown University, and there's a great coffee shop called Coffee Exchange within a ten-minute walk. Overall, highly recommended!

The hotel is located right across from the park, offering a very nice view. It’s also very convenient—just a 5-minute drive to downtown. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. We stayed for two nights and had a really good rest there.

Great location! Comfortable bed. No fridge or microwave in the room, which we expected. Nice breakfast!

We had a great stay at the hotel and would book again when in Providence.

The room is similar to a university dormitory. Although it is not large, it is very cost-effective and has good sanitary conditions. The only problem is that the air-conditioning and other facilities are a bit simple. There are public bathrooms for washing; the hotel is very close to Brown University, making it convenient for traveling.
