"This was my first time bringing my child to Pingtan, and I absolutely recommend staying at the Guohui Hotel as a family-friendly option – it's fantastic! I found it online, and there were many genuine positive reviews on Ctrip. We were two women with two 3-year-olds. The family room was huge, and the kids loved it, especially the small tent 🏕️, the little horse, panda, and bear 🐻 they all wanted to play with. There's also a large bathtub, and the view from the 27th floor is amazing. The playground on the first floor and the large outdoor pool with a water park were big hits too. I have to specifically mention the food: the rice noodles and regular noodles at the breakfast buffet were incredibly delicious 😋, especially if you add the meatballs – they were heavenly 😋! In the following days, none of the other places we ate at had meatballs as good as these. The kids loved the food too, and the cute bowls and plates were a nice touch. The hotel was very clean, and they were thoughtful enough to provide a child's toilet seat and installed two bed rails for us. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Tian'ao (South Line) and 30-50 minutes from the North Line by taxi. Since the north and south lines are quite far apart, choosing this hotel, as recommended by other netizens, was a brilliant decision. The food was excellent too. After enjoying the beach on the South Line, it was so comfortable to take a taxi back, wash up, and go to sleep. The hotel's pick-up service was also fantastic 👍. Traveling with children and luggage can be exhausting, but the driver met us right at the one-stop station, and we had a comfortable ride in a 6-seater commercial van. I didn't take many photos, so you can find pictures online. I just wanted to share my honest experience. We also booked a B&B in the North for the same trip, and it was more expensive but genuinely inferior to Guohui in terms of both food and accommodation. After all, one is by the sea and the other is in the county town, but everything was convenient for eating. Speaking of which, I have to roast 'Feipo Feizai Chichi' (a restaurant). They offer free hotpot bases if you post on Xiaohongshu – no wonder good marketing slogans are made that way! It was scorching hot inside, and we almost got heatstroke eating there because there was no air conditioning. It was like a big seafood market. The stir-fried dishes looked good in pictures, but they were nowhere near as tasty as the seaside stalls."

It's about 3km from the city, which is a good distance, making it convenient to go out for meals or visit other attractions. I'm already planning to come back for a longer stay in the summer when the weather's brighter! Facilities: Excellent, especially appreciated the dehumidifier, which was a nice touch. Hygiene: The cleaning was meticulous and very thorough, especially impressive for a guesthouse by the sea. Also, every now and then, you might catch a faint, mysterious scent that sits somewhere between ”stale water” and ”did a confident local stray cat just mark its territory here?” 🐈⬛ But honestly, you just laugh it off. It doesn't ruin the vibe and just becomes a funny part of the coastal experience. Amenities & Dining ☕️ The hotel has some really lovely spaces to unwind. There is a cozy library where you can relax, a great kids' area which is super convenient for families, and a nice bar for the evenings. As for the breakfast, the buffet selection isn't huge, but don't let that disappoint you—everything they serve is fresh, high-quality, and genuinely delicious! "I chose the Wyndham Hotel for my Pingtan trip, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The lobby was grand and spotless, and the rooms were spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel also boasts excellent leisure facilities, and its location makes it very convenient for exploring. I must give a special shout-out to Harry at the front desk. The check-in process was smooth and quick. He patiently explained all the hotel services and enthusiastically recommended local attractions and must-visit spots. His service was professional and thoughtful. With such outstanding hardware coupled with excellent service, my overall stay was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"Aside from the ambiance being okay, everything else was truly disappointing. Whether it was the welcome fruit or the breakfast fruit, the blueberries were all soft from being left out too long! 🙅 (Very unacceptable) It seemed like there was only one staff member at the entire guesthouse. This one person at the front desk had to act as the housekeeper, help the kitchen, and deliver things. The owner is incredibly stingy!! No one answered the phone at the front desk. There was also no one at the breakfast area. I booked breakfast for 9 am, arrived at the restaurant on time, but there was no staff. When I contacted the housekeeper via WeChat, they said they wouldn't start cooking until I arrived. There was no need to confirm the meal time with me beforehand. Even the housekeeper only added me on WeChat after I requested it. Otherwise, everything was inconvenient. My advice to everyone is to just buy a coffee and take some photos at the outdoor café if you're really going to come. This 888 RMB room is worse than a three-star service! 😂"

Initially, I thought the county town would be more convenient for dining and shopping, but after careful consideration, I settled on this place. Pingtan's attractions are mainly concentrated in the northern part, and staying in the county town would be too far from them, making commuting a hassle and detracting from the seaside vacation vibe. This location is close to Jing Sha, Changjiang Ao, and Wuya Hai, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The actual environment far exceeded my expectations; I could see the stunning wind turbine sea from my room. Plus, there's a private courtyard that's quiet and comfortable, offering a welcome escape from the bustling city. And if you're just looking for food, there are plenty of options nearby.
