"This was my first time bringing my child to Pingtan, and I absolutely recommend staying at the Guohui Hotel as a family-friendly option – it's fantastic! I found it online, and there were many genuine positive reviews on Ctrip. We were two women with two 3-year-olds. The family room was huge, and the kids loved it, especially the small tent 🏕️, the little horse, panda, and bear 🐻 they all wanted to play with. There's also a large bathtub, and the view from the 27th floor is amazing. The playground on the first floor and the large outdoor pool with a water park were big hits too. I have to specifically mention the food: the rice noodles and regular noodles at the breakfast buffet were incredibly delicious 😋, especially if you add the meatballs – they were heavenly 😋! In the following days, none of the other places we ate at had meatballs as good as these. The kids loved the food too, and the cute bowls and plates were a nice touch. The hotel was very clean, and they were thoughtful enough to provide a child's toilet seat and installed two bed rails for us. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Tian'ao (South Line) and 30-50 minutes from the North Line by taxi. Since the north and south lines are quite far apart, choosing this hotel, as recommended by other netizens, was a brilliant decision. The food was excellent too. After enjoying the beach on the South Line, it was so comfortable to take a taxi back, wash up, and go to sleep. The hotel's pick-up service was also fantastic 👍. Traveling with children and luggage can be exhausting, but the driver met us right at the one-stop station, and we had a comfortable ride in a 6-seater commercial van. I didn't take many photos, so you can find pictures online. I just wanted to share my honest experience. We also booked a B&B in the North for the same trip, and it was more expensive but genuinely inferior to Guohui in terms of both food and accommodation. After all, one is by the sea and the other is in the county town, but everything was convenient for eating. Speaking of which, I have to roast 'Feipo Feizai Chichi' (a restaurant). They offer free hotpot bases if you post on Xiaohongshu – no wonder good marketing slogans are made that way! It was scorching hot inside, and we almost got heatstroke eating there because there was no air conditioning. It was like a big seafood market. The stir-fried dishes looked good in pictures, but they were nowhere near as tasty as the seaside stalls."

It was so peaceful and undisturbed, with beautiful ocean views – perfect for anyone looking for some quiet introspection, reading by the sea, or simply enjoying the scenery. It's about 3km from the city, which is a good distance, making it convenient to go out for meals or visit other attractions. I'm already planning to come back for a longer stay in the summer when the weather's brighter! Facilities: Excellent, especially appreciated the dehumidifier, which was a nice touch. Hygiene: The cleaning was meticulous and very thorough, especially impressive for a guesthouse by the sea. Environment: The decor is lovely, and the rooms are uniquely nestled among natural rocks, offering unparalleled views. Service: Extremely thoughtful and enthusiastic. Any issues were resolved very quickly and appropriately."

"The hotel receptionists were very friendly and provided excellent service. We had an early train the next day and were worried about delays, so the hotel specially arranged a complimentary shuttle service to the station. The driver arrived early and called us to confirm. The staff at the front desk were also very enthusiastic, proactively recommending tourist attractions and great restaurants. They even upgraded our room! Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Thumbs up! 👍"

"We stayed in Villa C. While the view outside wasn't as good as some other rooms, we were still very comfortable. Everything was satisfactory, even more so than a five-star hotel. The hotel environment is absolutely stunning, with a strong sense of design. After the tide recedes, the private beach shared by several hotels is truly amazing, and the large area of rocky cliffs is also beautiful. Even during the May Day holiday, we got to enjoy the beach all to ourselves, and we could even take the kids to catch sand crabs and rock crabs. There were also quite a few tree frogs by the hotel pool, making a unique and interesting sound! I can't stop thinking about it and will definitely find a chance to go back and stay for a few more days! It's a pity we didn't see the 'blue tears' this time. We spent the first day stuck in traffic, and on the second day, hearing there wasn't a natural display of blue tears, we decided not to go. Pingtan was really congested during May Day! I was quite happy with our travel photos this time. It would have been even better if the all-inclusive package had provided more edited pictures!"

"I debated for a long time whether to stay in the county town or here. Initially, I thought the county town would be more convenient for dining and shopping, but after careful consideration, I settled on this place. Pingtan's attractions are mainly concentrated in the northern part, and staying in the county town would be too far from them, making commuting a hassle and detracting from the seaside vacation vibe. This location is close to Jing Sha, Changjiang Ao, and Wuya Hai, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The actual environment far exceeded my expectations; I could see the stunning wind turbine sea from my room. Plus, there's a private courtyard that's quiet and comfortable, offering a welcome escape from the bustling city. And if you're just looking for food, there are plenty of options nearby. Staying by the sea truly feels like an immersive vacation – I definitely chose the right place. Clamming tools (available for borrowing)"

"Pingtan had always been on my travel list, and I finally decided to visit last minute. I spent a long time choosing a hotel. Actually, for a summer trip to Pingtan, I'd highly recommend picking a hotel or guesthouse and staying put for a few days, only venturing out to see the sea and take photos in the evening, because it's simply too hot and sunny! We rented a car at 12:30 PM, drove around for half a day, and arrived at the guesthouse at 8 PM. As soon as we got out of the car, a butler was there to help with our luggage! The pure white building looked beautiful even at night. Next to it was the Windmill Sea restaurant, where you could hear live singers and enjoy the breeze – it was so comfortable! After checking in, my child immediately changed into a swimsuit and headed to the pool; they were absolutely thrilled! The hotel also provided swim rings, which was very convenient. There was also a water park, which unfortunately we didn't get to experience. For breakfast, you could choose between beef noodles (which were actually rice vermicelli), beef ramen, or congee. I'd recommend the beef ramen. Besides the set meal, you could also pick fruits, juices, salads, etc. The beef in the ramen tasted very fresh! If you could get a window seat, eating while overlooking the Windmill Sea was an even better experience! After breakfast, we booked a travel photoshoot. The photographer delivered the photos incredibly fast, surprisingly so! The kids then played in the soft play area for a long time. The hotel also has a gym and a craft room, and you can participate in hotel activities, especially for kids – they can easily spend an entire day there during the summer without even leaving the hotel. It's a shame we didn't try the afternoon tea. The hotel also creates a 'island friends' WeChat group, offering services like ordering barbecue at night, which can even be delivered directly to your room – perfect for those who just want to chill out! The only downside of the hotel is the soundproofing. Fortunately, the hotel prohibits children from playing in the water after 10 PM and even provides earplugs and eye masks, so it's not a huge concern. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep! We had to leave early due to an approaching typhoon, which was sad. My child said she wants to come back again; she absolutely loved it!"

The pool and windmill sea view are absolutely stunning and perfect for photos. My room offered direct sea views, and the facilities were top-notch. They even provided complimentary drinks in the fridge! The place was spotless and comfortable, and the service was incredibly attentive. My stay was a perfect 10/10, and I'll definitely be back for the Dragon Boat Festival!"

"The hotel was beautiful and clean. The location is a little remote but so quiet. This was a great opportunity to get away from the city, and enjoy the island. The room was presented in a beautiful clean manner, we also received a plate of fruit after we had gone to the room. The only negative point is that there were some events happening at the hotel, which greatly impacted on the hotel restaurant. The food took too long to receive after placing our order; and due to it being the off season they didn't turn on the A/C in the restaurant, even after some guests asked for it to be turned on."
