It's in a relatively remote location, but the environment is close to the sea, so it's recommended for those traveling by car as it's convenient for getting around. Environment: The hotel has several buildings, with a maximum of three units per floor, all near the sea. My room had a balcony, which was very pleasant to look at the sea, the bridge, and the waves on sunny days. Delivery options are limited; the few that do offer delivery require using JD.com. Service: Adding the front desk on WeChat resulted in a message with information about WiFi, breakfast, and driving routes – a thoughtful and natural service. Breakfast: It deserves special mention because although the selection was limited, the food was quite good, and I enjoyed it. Cleanliness: Overall, it was very good and pleasant. There was a minor leak in the sink drain, but it didn't affect the overall rating."

"Golden Yong Ya Ge is our top pick for a family vacation in Pingtan with kids! It's just a stone's throw from Longwangtou Beach, making it super convenient for digging in the sand and chasing the 'blue tears'. The hotel has its own kids' playground, which kept our little one entertained all afternoon. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection of pastries that the kids loved. The front desk staff were really friendly and even provided complimentary sand-digging tools. Plus, parking is free and there are charging stations available. Our whole family had an amazing experience – highly recommend for families with children!"

"Location is really convenient, near to amenities and the beach. Room is clean and housekeeping service is fabulous. However the down side is that the service provided by the staff from the reception is substandard for a four star hotel, staff at the reception is not welcoming and giving people an uncomfortable feeling. Staff did not greet and both of them standing at the counter will just stare at you while you are walking towards them. Upon reaching the counter, they will not serve you until you start speaking up. After handing over of room cards, did not guide on where is the lift and where is the breakfast at."

The Positives & The Room ✨ The service here is genuinely good! We originally booked a standard Twin room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Family room. The upgraded room was absolutely awesome—very big, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Even though the hotel building itself feels a little bit old and dated, the spacious room really made up for it. Location & Beach 🏖️ The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. There are a few cafes right on the beach, though keep in mind their menus are quite limited. Also, unless you are visiting during the peak hot summer season, you won't be able to swim in the ocean because of the weather. The Downsides: Pool & Noise 🚧 Since we couldn't swim in the sea, we were hoping to use the pool, but unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed. I highly recommend contacting the hotel to check if the pool is operating before you book! The biggest issue during our stay, however, was the noise. There was active construction going on, and they were constantly fixing the roof next door. It was quite noisy and definitely disrupted the peaceful beach vibe. Bottom Line: A great beachfront location with excellent service and spacious rooms, but definitely double-check the pool and construction status before your trip! "Came to Pingtan for a vacation with my child. Environment: The hotel lobby is grand and spacious. The room is also quite large and roomy. The view from the higher floors is excellent, and the soundproofing is very good, so it doesn't disturb your sleep. Service: The front desk staff were very gentle. Before check-in, there was a butler who contacted us, sent us travel guides and tips, and was available for any questions we had – excellent service. Throughout our stay, all hotel staff were very service-oriented; they actively greeted us and helped with our luggage. The hotel has its own water park, which is a great place to take kids in the summer. Our stay was excellent, and if I get the chance to visit Pingtan again, I'll definitely choose Guohui Hotel."
