"Really enjoyed my stay! Located in a beautiful neighborhood and a short drive to downtown Charleston. My room was a King balcony which was nice to sit in a rocking chair and read. Hotel manager and staff were super friendly and accommodating. Rooms were impeccable and bed was super comfy. I will say that the walls are very thin and I could hear the people in the room next to me loud and clear. Not a reason to not stay here, but to be aware if you’re a light sleeper. There is a sound machine in the room so that helped. My room also had a small fridge & microwave for convenience. I would stay here again during my next stay in Charleston!"

"The location is ok as well as the amenities. However, the room was lacking attention on its maintenance (bathroom sink leaking). Some of the staff wasn’t kind and understanding, they were trying to charge for little timings like opening a wine bottle for $15. We had 2 beds, my sheets were changed one day on one and one day on the other I didn’t understand why. They didn’t serve 2 paid breakfasts one because we arrived a minute late and the other because we were leaving too early in the morning. Also on top of the deposit they charged some amenities fees which we weren’t aware of at the time of booking and the price for this fee went up during the stay which felt scammy. In the morning they would drill next door and wake us up we didn’t get much good sleep earlier."

"What was supposed to be a simple work trip turned into one of the most memorable stays we’ve had thanks to the incredible team here. Don and Erin made us feel welcome from day one and were always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly sets the tone for the entire property. And Samuel and Taylor at the bar deserve a huge shoutout! They were friendly, funny, and made every evening a great time. We arrived as guests and left feeling like we’d made new friends. It’s not often that you remember the people more than the trip itself, but that’s exactly what happened here. Thank you all for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back!"

"This is one if the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. After driving over 8 hours to get there and check in i was rudely accused of booking the room wrong. The assistant manager Tom was nasty and accusatory towards me. They didnt want to give me the rate i booked even though i am platinum elite. I would have left then but it was a very busy holiday weekend. I asked for a quiet room and got laughed at saying there are no quiet rooms. My room was musty smelling and there was hair in the shower and all over the carpet. The stay was terrible. I complained to Marriott but never got any email or call from them. Do not stay here."
