Even more precious was Xiao Nan's subtle and considerate care: Since it was hot and we didn't want to go out, we ate all three meals at the guesthouse. Xiao Nan prepared a variety of delicious meals according to our tastes. Even past 10 PM, they tirelessly prepared stir-fries and appetizers for us. Every dish used the freshest ingredients, freshly picked and cooked to perfection, with a home-style flavor that was delicious and visually appealing; we finished every last bite.
