SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnonymous UserStumbled upon a Ctrip gem, this B&B was a delightful surprise during my Wuyishan trip. The scenery here is stunning, easily rivaling the Nine-Bend Stream. The owner is incredibly warm and provides excellent service. They even upgraded our room for free, offered complimentary fruit, tea eggs, and health-boosting tea, and the breakfast spread was generous. Their tea factory produces delicious tea, and they even gifted us some when we left. This B&B offers great value for money, especially for someone as particular about cleanliness as I am – I couldn't find a single flaw, even in the nooks and crannies. Highly recommended!

But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the support the hotel provided in helping me explore the area. They introduced me to a local guide named Spring, and I am so grateful they did. Service was inconsistent; a few staff members were nice, but the short-haired staff member was rude, rushing to leave and trying to impose rules on people. Staying in a guesthouse isn't about being told what to do; they had absolutely no service awareness. They urged me to check out at 11 PM, something I've never encountered in all my hotel stays. Soundproofing was poor; there was construction noise nearby early in the morning and during the day, and the neighbors next door would jump rope in their building until 10 PM. Of all the guesthouses I stayed at in Wuyishan, I gave 5 stars except for this one—it ruined my experience.

The room was very spacious, clean, and odorless, and the air conditioning was quiet, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast was also rich and satisfying! I'll definitely choose Baina Hotel again if I come back to Wuyishan.

MM514914****Great, met my expectations. It was clean and tidy, and the reception was very welcoming. They even gave us a map of the scenic area, which was a thoughtful touch. What my child loved most, and what was perfect for them, was the Xiaodu smart robot. It could answer questions and even play videos, clearing up a lot of knowledge gaps for them. You could say it's a hardcore popular science little expert!
