Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

Our stay far exceeded expectations! The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful ambiance. The host was extremely warm, thoughtful, and attentive. The biggest pleasant surprise was how amazing the food was—such delicious home-cooked meals! The location is fantastic, very close to all the main attractions, making getting around super convenient. A special shoutout to the pet-friendly policy; traveling with our dog was completely hassle-free, and our pup felt right at home too. Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again next time!

On a long-distance road trip with my parents, we chose Wuyishan as our second stop to rest and recharge. Looking for more of a resort feel, we compared a few options and ultimately chose Chunbo Resort. It turned out to be a huge and delightful surprise on this trip! The hotel called us in advance and added us on WeChat to check about our stay preferences, while also providing information on various services and activities available at the property. When we booked dinner at the restaurant and mentioned that someone in our party was celebrating a birthday, they thoughtfully prepared longevity noodles and a cake. The restaurant staff were all extremely attentive and considerate. The hotel is very large, and its interior design and aesthetic are top-notch—great for taking photos. The shuttle carts operate 24/7 and show up instantly whenever called. Before checkout, they even thoughtfully drove us to the parking lot first to drop off our luggage so we could enjoy breakfast with peace of mind. As for the room, we booked a family room, which was spacious and comfortable. It allowed us to spend time together while also giving everyone their own space. Having bathrooms on both upper and lower levels is very elderly-friendly. Even our notoriously picky elders said they would choose to stay here again next time!

Great location! It's right opposite the Impression Dahongpao show, close to bus stops and Sangu Street. The front desk staff were very friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. I bought some lotus seeds and tea from the courtyard shop, looking forward to trying them when I get back.

We received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

During this trip, I stayed at Wuyishan Guanlan Shuyuan Space and experienced their butler service. The butlers, Xiao Guo and Xiao Chen, were warm and attentive. From sending travel guides in advance to helping resolve travel issues at any time, they saved us some unnecessary expenses. The hotel environment is exceptionally nice; the courtyard design is elegant, and the lighting and arrangement are great for photos. You can easily capture stunning shots, so photography lovers shouldn't miss it. The restaurant is also very good—the dining environment is clean and bright, and enjoying the scenery while eating is extremely relaxing. I was quite satisfied with the food, accommodation, activities, parking, and location. Highly recommended for self-driving trips, whether traveling independently, in groups, or with family!

The owner and his staff were really friendly. He also provided assistance, information and tips for the scenic attractions. His photography work is displayed in his home stay and also on the tv of the complementary Wuyishan bus service. It’s in a natural surrounding so expect one or two insects to come by. Breakfast is simple — I (and a passing wasp) love the tea eggs so much I bought extra for lunch and dinner. They sell Dahongpao ice cream too and it’s cheaper for guests compared to the ones outside. He also sells tea leaves. And I bought some because the taste of the samplers were good. The only gripe I have is with the shower — water pressure is not good but that’s not the location’s fault. It took a while for me to finally turn the knob to the magic spot where water temperature is just right — not too cold and not too hot. But hey, I’m paying to stay smack in the middle of the scenic area.

Five-star rating for the front desk and lobby staff – they were incredibly warm and attentive. The hotel's location and surroundings are also great. However, the pool opening hours are too late. My kids were really looking forward to the pool, but it doesn't open until 3 PM, so we completely missed out. Also, the breakfast area was stifling hot; it's just not right to not have air conditioning on in this weather.

The environment is nice, and the breakfast is plentiful.
