During the May Day holiday, I was going to take my baby to Youyang Red Stone Forest, and I searched for this homestay on the platform, which is very close to the Red Stone Forest. The homestay is at the top of Hewan Village, which is an original Tujia village. The Youshui River is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, and the natural and fresh. Every villager uses fishing boats as a means of transportation, which feels like a paradise. The homestay is also a Tujia architectural museum. The houses are handmade by old Tujia craftsmen. They are very exquisite and can experience the pure Tujia construction culture. At night, sitting in the yard, watching the starry sky, smelling the fragrance of grapefruit flowers, listening to the frogs and insects, and feeling at ease. During the day, go around the village, take a boat to Youshui River for a ride, listen to the boat brother telling foreigners about Tujia culture in fluent English, and have more respect for the mountains, rivers and humanities here. Due to the inconvenience of transportation, you have to eat in the hotel, which is a little more expensive, which is understandable. On the way back and forth from the hotel by boat, the boat driver helped carry the luggage, which was very enthusiastic. We arrived a little late that day. Since we didn't tell him about the meal in advance, the chef had gone off work. The boss hurriedly found the dumplings and glutinous rice balls in the refrigerator to cook for us. I was moved by this enthusiastic service again. There are no shops or pharmacies in the village. The whole-room smart control system is incredibly convenient; lights, curtains, and air conditioning can all be controlled with a single button – it's so high-tech! The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise; the sheets and blankets were spotless and odorless, and the bathroom was immaculate, with even the crevices and nooks cleaned thoroughly. The staff were warm and attentive, making for a fantastic stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

When we got off the boat at the pier, the boss asked the grandparents to pick us up in advance. The steps are very high and they helped carry our luggage since we have a lot of luggage.
❤️The problem of uncleanness in the B&B that I was worried about before is totally unnecessary. It is very clean and sanitary. The environment is very nice and romantic. The whole house is equipped with smart appliances. The TV didn't work during the stay. The owner asked his friend to come and adjust it. I was really touched.
❤️One of the special advantages of this B&B is that it provides free travel photography clothes. The clothes in the picture below are provided by the B&B. There are other options. The B&B has created a supporting shooting environment. You can take photos for half a day without leaving the courtyard. Haha

Since we booked a room on a better floor, the owner took us to the inn by elevator from the South Gate Visitor Center. The inn has a good location, a large room, and a separate balcony.
