We arrived during Chinese New Year and got a free upgrade to a spacious family suite. We even cooked our own New Year's Eve dinner and made dumplings because the kitchen was so well-equipped! I was so happy! We celebrated Chinese New Year while traveling! It felt just like home! Absolutely wonderful!

Exceeded expectations! For such an affordable price, I felt like I received 5-star service. Breakfast was included and quite satisfying, and the welcome drink was really refreshing after a long trip. I dropped my luggage before check-in, and it was super convenient, I even got early check-in, which allowed me to explore the city right away and save both time and money. After check-out, I also left my luggage at the hotel and enjoyed a nearby café before my departure. So helpful! The facilities were excellent: power outlets conveniently placed for charging, fresh towels and linens replaced daily, complimentary bottled water, and reliable hot water for showers. There’s also a dispenser for hot and cold water refills. The view from my room was a bonus, I could see Tunjungan Plaza right from the window. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Surabaya. Absolutely loved my stay at Amaris Hotel Embong Malang Surabaya. Definitely staying here again!

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The staff at check-in were amazing. They offered me a free breakfast, which was a delight to eat The decor is very traditional javanese with a modern twist The Rooms were very comfortable It was a lovely experience will stay here again The sop buntut is well worth ordering

The room and bathroom are clean, just because I have stayed here before, I was a little surprised that there is no refrigerator 🤭 Please fix the shower, the shower is blocked so you can't get out of the water to the max

The location is super strategic, right in the city center and close to everything. Public transport access is also nearby. I stayed there for 5 nights, and on one day, the room wasn't cleaned even though I had requested it at the front office. I'm a regular here; whenever I need a hotel in the city center, I always choose this one. There's a semi-indoor swimming pool and a mini-fridge in the room. The view from the upper floors is also beautiful.

Good price in great location. Only setback - the elevators are super slow. Otherwise a great place to stay in the heart of Surabaya

New hotel, when I stayed maybe just a few weeks opening so for the facilities still good and new. Overall it is very good including service, but there are some things that need to be improved, especially for motorbike parking where the access is very steep and leaning and narrow road, which I think can harm guests. Then for the cleanliness of the room, the floor was so dirty that made me keep lifting slippers when in the room because I didn't get a sliper, for the bathroom also the water was bounced. but more plus for this price,because there is a balcony and the room is soundproofed too.
