If you have something to do at UC Berkeley, this hotel is the best place to stay with following reasons. (1) Best Location - The nearest to the UC Berkeley, (2) Staff there is super nice and friendly. It made my stay so comfortable. In a meanwhile, you need to bear in mind that (1) Facility is old, (2) you need to bear additional cost, such as Overnight Self Parking 37.00, and (2) Property Amenity Fee 25.00, (3) Property Amenity Fee City Occupancy Tax 3.00, that are not cheap. Overall, I'm satisfied with my choice!

The omelette chef was incredibly skilled and attentive, creating custom omelettes to order with a wide selection of fillings. Each omelette was cooked to perfection, with a fluffy texture and flavorful fillings that made every bite a treat. I had the pleasure of trying several different combinations, and each one was better than the last. The quality of the ingredients was also noteworthy. Fresh eggs, a variety of cheeses, and an assortment of vegetables and meats were all on offer, ensuring that every omelette was a delicious and nutritious start to the day. Overall, my stay at Fremont Marriott was fantastic, and the breakfast omelette was a standout feature that made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Fremont Marriott to anyone looking for a comfortable and delicious stay in the area.

This hotel is located by the sea, offering distant views of San Francisco and Berkeley University on a clear day. Unfortunately, it's been raining for the past few days, which really highlighted the downside of its somewhat remote location. There's a free parking lot next to the hotel's own paid parking. The breakfast area has a very pleasant ambiance. Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's à la carte. The breakfast voucher generally covers the standard breakfast sets, so no extra payment is usually needed. After staying here, I definitely agree with the scores on Trip.com and Agoda. The main reason for the lower ratings is the outdated facilities – the AC was broken, and the faucet wasn't working very well.

The room was quite large, with drinking water available. The coffee machine was clean and limescale-free. The only drawback was that the small bottle of shampoo was half full upon check-in. I guess the staff forgot to replace it, but since I brought my own, this was negligible. The hotel is close to the street, so they provided earplugs. The breakfast was simple but filling, with good coffee and several yogurt options. The staff was very welcoming. The area is quite lively, with restaurants and supermarkets close by. Highly recommended.

Room was clean, outside of building definitely needs a makeover. Had to wait 20 minutes to check in as the counter was left unattended. Will not use this site again.

Located next to UC Berkeley, just a few minutes' walk from the West Entrance, and with Trader Joe's right across the street, it's very convenient for buying daily necessities.

Doesn’t have any inside windows but if you from any windows actually very green many food spots and many stores nearby are walking distance and BART which is a form of transportation is very close by I really like everything about this room very cozy very clean and the customer service is fantastic here every time

We encountered several issues during our stay that significantly impacted our experience. On the first day, we had a minor disagreement with the housekeeping staff after requesting a second towel for our two-guest room, which had only been provided with one face towel. The cleaning staff member on the 4th floor argued with one of the guests rather than accommodating the simple request. The following day, we placed all used towels outside the door for collection, but no fresh towels were returned. When we inquired with another housekeeper, she explained that towels were likely still being laundered and might be available around 1 PM. We went fishing for the day and returned in the evening expecting to shower and clean up, but still had no towels. I reported the issue to the front desk, and ultimately we chose to leave approximately 20 hours early simply so we could go home and bathe. Despite this, we were charged the full rate for a room that had no air conditioning, no phone to contact the front desk, and where only 1 out of 5 ice machines was operational.
