GGuest UserThis stay experience is directly full! There is no difference between the real thing and the picture of the homestay. The decoration is warm and atmospheric. Every corner is exquisite. It can be seen that the landlord has a good taste. The whole house was cleaned spotlessly, the bathroom had no smell, and the toiletries, disposable slippers, paper towels and other spare parts were very complete. The landlord was very caring, sent a detailed check-in route in advance, and also shared the delicious restaurants and play routes around. If there is a problem, the reply is super fast, and the whole process will not be excessively disturbed. The room is soundproofed, the environment is quiet, and I sleep until dawn. The location is convenient to travel, this is the first choice for travel here, I have recommended it to my friends, and I will definitely buy it back next time!

AAnonymous UserI was initially in a dilemma about whether to stay here or not, but looking back, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip! After carefully planning the journey, getting there was actually quite straightforward. For those coming from Hohhot, here's the route I took: 1. Take a train from Hohhot to Dalate West Station. 2. Take a Didi from Dalate West Station to Huailian Tourism Resort Reception Center (about 40 minutes, around CNY50). 3. Purchase rm176 of the Whistling Dune Bay package ticket, which includes admission, cable car, Yuesha Island access, and a camel ride. 4. Resort guests have access to a special lane for the cable car, which takes about 8 minutes. 5. Upon arrival, take the resort jeep transfer to the accommodation area. 6. Enjoy activities such as sand sliding, swimming in the pool, stargazing, and simply experiencing the peaceful desert atmosphere at night. 7. After checkout, take the jeep transfer to the mini desert train, followed by the duck car ride, before returning via cable car. 8. It can be difficult to get a Didi from the resort reception area, but the staff kindly helped arrange a taxi back to Dalate West Station for around CNY50. 9. Continue the journey from Dalate West Station to Ordos. What impressed me most was the hospitality. From the WeChat communication before arrival to the reception team and resort staff, everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The night experience was truly spectacular. The desert becomes so peaceful after sunset — all you can hear is the sound of the sand, while above you is a sky filled with countless stars and a beautiful moon. It was one of the most memorable moments of my trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique desert stay and unforgettable experience!

GGuest UserI stayed for several days. The service staff here are very good. Very friendly. The room attendant is easy to talk to. The room cleaning is very timely. Super good. The front desk lady is very good-looking from the first-person perspective. She also patiently answered my questions. There are small gifts for check-in. Not only check-in, but also greeted in the corridor. It is very warm when you go out. Compared with other hotels, this place is very convenient. Overall recommended

GGuest UserThe room was excellent and very clean. The young man was very sincere and even picked us up and dropped us off at the scenic spot. It was also good that we checked in early; the fried rice he made was delicious. The attentive butler service was exceptionally good.

DDimomoThe hotel was great, very clean, and they even provided milk and bread rolls. It's about a 30-minute drive from Xiangshawan Desert. The breakfast was a bit limited, but overall it was excellent.

GGuest User[”The room was meticulously cleaned, and the bedding was so soft I slept incredibly soundly. The front desk was super responsive, and it offers amazing value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time.”,”The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial district. The soundproofing is excellent, and the breakfast selection is diverse. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.”,”King of value for money! The facilities are new with no musty smell, and the toiletries are high quality. My stay was incredibly comfortable. What's even better is that they have EV charging stations – I didn't expect that, and it was truly the cherry on top for my trip!!!!!”]

MmcmasonAwesome place for families. Family yurt was ideal and the Hero show was fantastic. The other shows and kids activities were also great. Beware limited eating choices but those there are decent enough. Ice cream and Dico’s available at the activities area. Also note you need to pay to get into the scenic area and activities/shows. We paid 268 per adult including 12 activities/shows. Kids under 1.3m are free. Oh and free to use washer/dryer was a godsend.

GGanletingsimayi23 Degrees Desert B&B – A hidden gem in the Kubuqi Desert, worth visiting countless times! To be precise, it's called 'Nansha Tourist Resort'. This time, I stayed in a yurt compound, and as soon as I entered, I was amazed by the fruit trees in the courtyard. There was an apricot tree right outside our room, and in the morning, when I opened the door, the sunlight cast the tree's shadow on the mud wall. That quiet and gentle scene still feels so healing when I recall it. It was only a little over 200 yuan a night during the May Day holiday, and although the room facilities were simple, the value for money was truly exceptional. The biggest surprise was the Moshang Horse Ranch next door! It was my first time riding a horse in the desert. The instructor saw I was nervous and thoughtfully held the reins for me the entire time. At first, when my feet left the ground, I was both scared and excited. My butt hurt from the bumpy fast walk, but when we started galloping, I slowly found my rhythm. The wind whistled past my ears, and the sunset gradually sank beyond the sand dunes. At that moment, I felt: life is truly worth living! The instructors were not only professional but also very witty, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone at the B&B was super enthusiastic. There's a paid pick-up service from the station to the B&B, which is inexpensive and surprisingly uses a luxury van. Plus, someone specifically picks up and drops off for each activity, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Behind the B&B, there's also a private desert area owned by the boss, undisturbed by tourists! You can freely use the sandboards right outside the restaurant. The restaurant's pork spine, yogurt cake, and yellow tomato beef brisket are all delicious. The ATV off-road vehicle prices are also very reasonable; I recommend spending at least half a day tearing around there. Besides horses, there are also camels, sheep, and cats! While eating, I saw many people driving their own cars with their dogs, and in the morning, I even saw foreigners heading back. It's an undiscovered gem that hasn't gone viral yet! Natural scenery and an immersive experience – this trip had it all. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the desert and avoid crowds.

AAnonymous UserHaving stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I can't help but comment that this is the only hotel in the scenic area. It looks good based on the price, but only those who have stayed there know. 1. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and took my luggage on his own initiative. My first impression was quite good. As soon as I moved in, I discovered that the air conditioner was roaring loudly, the toilet button required skill - if you pressed it incorrectly the water would just keep flowing, and the sink drain was half-blocked, so after using it you had to wait for the water to flow out before you could use it again. There was a male waiter at the front desk with a bad attitude. I booked a family room for four people, and there were only two 335ml bottles of water in it. I asked for four more bottles, but he said it would be charged. This is the first time I heard that hotels charge for mineral water! The one point deducted from the service was by the male receptionist! The cleaning staff has a better attitude than the male waiter at the front desk! However, the fireworks show during the May Day holiday is still a plus!

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic stay! To find a place like this in the desert – so clean, convenient, and with genuinely friendly and generous staff – it's truly a hidden gem! The hotel front desk sells attraction tickets at a great price, which really enhances the experience. After the scenic area closes, it's essentially like having the whole place to yourself; you can go wherever you want and have the entire desert all to yourself. In the evenings, they even organize trips deeper into the desert to stargaze and take photos! It's also pet-friendly, and my dog absolutely loved playing in the sand! When the water heater broke in the middle of the night, a staff member came right up, fixed it in no time, and even replaced the showerhead with a new one. Their efficiency and service attitude definitely deserve a five-star rating! Highly recommend!
