"Fierro Hotel is a true gem! The location is good but we took a taxi nearly everywhere. There are lots of eateries all around this neighborhood though. The people at the desk exceed themselves in giving the best service they can. We arrived mid-morning, and we only had to wait a few minutes before our 2 rooms were ready. We waited in their dining room where they served us their amazing breakfast that comes with the room. We ate many of our meals here because the food is amazing, chef-prepared. The wines recommended by their in-house sommelier are delicious. The rooms are big with a fridge stocked with champagne if desired. Also a separate wine fridge stocked with several wines. The desk folks have great suggestions for things to do as well as calling a taxi, English-speaking if desired. We asked about a dinner show with tango. It did not disappoint! They made our reservations, we were picked up and taken to the venue and it was great! We needed a late checkout and they allowed us to stay til 2 pm. I can't guarantee that on busier days the same accommodations to time in and out can be given. But we can leave our luggage safely if needed, even use of the facilities of pool, dining and sauna were offered after checkout. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The only negative thing was having to leave!"
